That's right, if you could be any character in any of the Zelda games, even npcs, who would it be and why?

Of course, I'd be Tetra. What can I say? She's the leader of a pirate crew, has a big ship and ends up being the princess. But mainly I'd be her because of the whole pirate thing. I'd love to go on far journeys on that ship, enjoy the sea, the weather, face the danger out in the open sea, and, all the while having a blast ordering my crew left and right.

Yeah, it would be a blast if I could be Tetra. ;)

After thinking long and hard about it....

I would like to be Farore. The Goddess Farore (not the Oracle). As in, one of the trio of Hyrule's mysterious golden trinity. And, yes, I think the Goddesses should count in this... they aren't really there, flesh and bone, in the story, but they are a major part of the story. Being one of the Goddesses would allow me to be powerful, mysterious, and aloof / largely detatched from the everyday lives of the Hyruelan mortals, yet still a part of the LoZ universe.

I chose Farore, Goddess of Courage, in particular because she is the creator of that world's living things. I have always had a strong interest in the biological world and one of my favorite things to do in my own art and writing is to invent strange creatures. Creating the biodiversity of Hyrule and surrounding lands appeals to me much more than simply "shaping the land" or "creating the law."

Though I would not call myself a particularly courageous person, I'm drawn to brave characters and brave people. I love ideas like honor, valor and whatnot. In being Farore, I'd be associated with that, too.

I could occassionally make my coutenence to shine down upon certain inviduals in Hyrule that impress me and can bestow my favor to heroes.

If I'm going to aim at being a fictional character, I might as well aim high.

If I had to be a boy, I would be Prince Ralis, just because he's very...I don't want to sound weird when I say this but I always do so whatever...he's very pretty and shiny. Ok. xD

i would like to be vaati, he is an evil socerer if i where vaati, i would spread all the evil around hyrule, send shadow link to end with the green link and his little friends, turn princes zelda into a stone and be the worst villain in whole hyrule hahahaha! hyrule is at its END!

vaati is Incredibly cool for me, i would definetly choose him, (well... if i where vaati i would someday be beaten by link, am i right?)

or toon link, (or even better the one in my profile tha would be great) i could save the world many times as i can, mess with ganondorf,s plans, protect the inocent from the evil, and give hyrule harmonic peace (no, im not changing the subject)

I would like to be Vaati then. Oke Vaati is a boy and me a girl, who cares? Vaati is just amazing, have a great power from Ezlo's Magic Cap.
But if we go girl with girl i would be Midna since Zelda is a troublesome princess. xD Mida got her own power like Vaati, Twilight Power. :P And she is awesome in TP. In the beginning she could be a little jerk, still she's really nice

I'd be Vaati, or, as weird as it may be, Zelda. I know, I'm a guy, and Zelda is a girl, so what? I'll explain that one first.

Zelda is an intelligent young lady, plus I'd get to have the Triforce of Wisdom, which would be a massive plus. Not to forget kick-butt magical skills to kill enemies. Who needs Courage when I am smart? :)

As for Vaati, he is a powerful wind mage. I love his purple appearance and the look in his eyes. He could have massive power to rule the world. And, he is my favorite Zelda character. A real awesome guy, I'd really like to be him.

I would choose Bagu :). He seems to be a strong and capable man. Lives in the woods and is occasionally called master by bats and such. That would be quite nice I think. Since AoL is also one of my favorite games ever it would be wonderful to experience it for "real".

Eh, for me I'd have to say Malo. I know he's freaky and scary and I hate his guts, but the guy's got quite a racket lined up there... I mean, really, his business is set to take over the world of commerce. I dunno, really. Shad and Rusl are pretty cool dudes, and they get to explore and fire bazookas and stuff. I dunno why, but TP's got most of the people I'd want to be.

Oh! Wait! No! You know that red-haired dude in WW who you pair up with that girl by taking her picture? That guy is one lucky dude. That guy, full stop.

The character that I think would be would be Sheik. The reason why would be the fact that he knows a lot about things. In OoT, he helped Link find where the sages were and essentially helped him along his quest. I tend to know a lot about things almost like Sheik does.

Another character that I would be is Midna. The reasons would be the similarities between me and her. One is the fact that we both are sarcastic and tend to think lightly about the situation. Although we both understand the seriousness of it, we still act the same way. :)

If I could, I would probably be either Marin or Hena. I'd love to be Marin, living on a faraway, secluded island surrounded by the sea. She can sing, she looks like Zelda, and she's a romantic dreamer. She also gets along with all the little animals. D'aaaw.

But then again, Hena is pretty neat. I'd love to have a job like hers, just renting out boats n stuff. I absolutely looooove fishing, so I definitely think that I could live her lifestyle. She's pretty cute, too.

Or, you know, being Nabooru would be cool. I like to be in positions of power, and she is second in command. She's fit and more than likely pretty nimble, plus she gets a lot of jewelry. On top of that, she's a bit of a lone wolf. I can't say that I'm a lone wolf (I'm a social butterfly), but I think I could learn to enjoy keeping to myself in a huge temple.

I would pick the Happy Mask Salesman. Why?

He has an interesting business. Collect neat masks and sell them for profit. He also seems to collect a variety of interesting magic items, even if a few might be dangerous... *coughmajora'smaskcough*

He travels the world, even crossing over to other dimensions, seeing new places and new things. He explores and seems incredibly well knowledged.

Just the mysterious nomadic salesman thing... sounds nice. ^^

I want to be quite a few people. I would like to choose skull kid, he has super awesome powers and is care free, the problem is he is a psycho.

I would also like to be one of the moon kids in MM for basicly the same reasons as skull kid but the moon ........is boring seriosly what are you supposed to do there.

My final decision is a Twili. Besides having to suffer Zants reign and being trapped there in the Twilight Palace I would have the power of the Twili and if I wanted to I could probaly leave the realm. the twilight mirror is just like a giant million peice cirrcular puzzle. easy right ...

Hmm... interesting question. I've played many Zelda games, but since I've only completed 2 games- Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time - I guess I can only pick from those 2 games. =3

Let's see... If I could be a male, I would choose either Sheik (if you count him as a boy), or Link. Sheik would be a cool character to be, because he's so mysterious. I personally like being mysterious >=D Not only that, but he's quick. You see the way he throws that deku seed or whatever it is, then dissapears in a flash. That would be sweet! He also seems pretty knowledgable. And talented at the harp.

I guess I would like to be Link... only if I didn't die XD I'd be cool to be the 'Hero' and save the day, sword fight, get cool weapons, meet new people, explore new lands... yeah, I could see myself doing that. ;)

If I were to be a girl, I would choose either Ashei, Princess Zelda, or Malon. Ashei and I seem to have the same sort of personality. Not to mention she has cool armor. I think part of the reason I would like to be her is she sees you off to Snowpeak. I loved Snowpeak. The music was so cool, and I loved the snow. Ashei seems to be a cool explorer and I like her character.

Being Princess Zelda would be cool, minus the whole being kidnapped and possesed thing. I doubt I'd make a good princess, though, hehe. But she seems to be pretty awesome with a bow and those light arrows, and seems to be pretty smart. She has the triforce of wisdom, so that's pretty cool.

Malon would also be a neat character to be, because I've always wanted to live on a farm. That's pretty much the only reason I'd like to be her. XD

I'd love to be Medli. She is just like me. A timid and smart girl. She plays the harp, I'd love to learn to play any musical instrument, and her destiny as a sage would be perfect, because then I could meet Link!:3

Plus, she is a Rito, she's able to fly! how great is that!? I love her beak nose. Her eye and hair color is something I want. Yep, I'm like Medli. And I want to be Medli.

Hmm this is hard, My guess it's either Darunia or... Ganondorf

Darunia because he is the leader of the Gorons in OoT, he is a Dancer and treats anyone who helps his fellow gorons as his brother,

I am very open and very friendly to people, like Darunia, but i don't go and say "brother! how are you?" if i did i might as well tan myself brown, cover myself in rocks and dance like crazy when Saria's Song is Playing. :lol:

Ganondorf...

Simple really, who would not want to have Power? anybody wants power, whether the power to Live even when a mortal wound was inflicted upon you or a power that gives you Demonic Strength.

I personally like to have this....without the "the hero appears uses the master sword to stab you so the ultimate evil is sealed or defeated" XD

One of three people (they all do the same thing really). Why I would be one of these three is because they all have adventureous spirits. They love to go out and collect rare items, and trade them for others, which menas meeting new and interesting people.

I would be either the

Rare Treasure Giver Fellow -- PH
Eskimo -- WW

I don't like sailing so probably not the last 2, but I don't wanna be supra ugly
like Happy Man over there. hahahha. Tough.

After a lot of thinking, I decided that Shad is the best choice. Why a scholar with the most horrible socks ever? Because I like to study animals and cultures just like he does. I would change the study subject to Hyrulian creatures though.

And if I had to pick a female character, I would like to be Medli. I don't have a very good reason other than that medli is an awesome character.

I would be Malon. Im a singer and an animal lover :) I would love to have raised Epona, and have taught Link Epona's Song. Living on a ranch would be fantastic too, that is until Ingo took over. She was just a nice, cutesy character that everyone liked.

But I do agree with others, being Midna would be quite the adventure!

Althought, to be Blue link would be cool. He's smart, And usually doesn't get into battles or get scraped up- like that red link, whom I despise.

Although, If I could be a zora, I would be. I love Zoras. As long as the water is warm.

This is really quite a difficult question. As there are many, many characters in the Zelda series which I would be interested in being. So. I'll list a few of the characters I'd like to be.

First of all, I think it would be pretty fun, and awesome, to be Majora's Mask. Or Majora. Whatever you want to call it. Having the power of the gods at your finger tips. The world is your own little playground! It would just immensely fun to have the power to destroy whatever I want, create whatever I want.. I could be nice, or I could be evil. The fun would be endless.

I would also like to be Zunari. You know him? The guy in the parka who lives on Windfall Island, and he has the shop where you buy the sale? I think it would be fun to be him. First of all, you get to live on Windfall Island, which is already quite an awesome place. Second, you get to own a successful shop there. And I always thought that shopkeeping would be quite fun. Plus, he's just over all and interesting character. He reminds me a lot of Apoo, from the Simpsons. It would be fun to be him.

And lastly, I would like to be the carver in the Nintendo Gallery... What is his name again? I think it's.. Carlov! Yes, that's it. He gets to sit inside a nice warm and cozy gallery, safe from any dangers all day, and carve pretty little statues! Doesn't that sound fun! Also, he has a very nice collection of items back behind his counter. It would just be fun to even hang out at the Nintendo Gallery all of the time. It's really a pretty cool place.

There are probably a lot more people who I would like to be, but those are the three that came to mind..

I know I'm going to sound incredibly cliche, but I wish I could be more like Link, from TP to be more exact. Mainly, because he has the courage I sometimes wish I had, to stand up to evil, Also, I have a huge affinity for swords and combat in general. To put it simply, its because there are a lot of times that I wish I could just go out on an epic adventure like in TP, be a chosen hero, a hero with purpose etc. The only difference I would like of course is that I get to keep Midna at the end lol! :lol:

I think I would quite enjoy being Telma. [from TP, of course]

She's very kind and caring to everyone, she took care of Ilia without a second thought. She also took in Prince Ralis when other Hylians looked down upon him since he was a Zora. She's very confident, and she makes the ever-stoic Link blush.
Even though Renado doesn't quite seem interested she's not giving up.
Plus she drives a covered wagon halfway across Hyrule to save some kids while being pursued and sometime set on fire.
She's very cool, and very brave.

Also, I like her character design.

[not to mention she lets the Resistance meet in her backroom, and she has a secret entrance to the castle in her bar!]

I would also quite enjoy being a Gerudo. Kick-arse Desert Amazons!

I would either be:

Tetra: I love adventuring, I love her attitude, and she seems like an extremely awesome person. She is also a princess of an ancient lost-to-time kingdom.

Saria: I love the forest. I love the Forest Temple. Being the sage of the forest would be really cool along with getting to be friends with all the other sages, and never growing up.

Link: This one seems pretty obvious.

I know he is such a minor character but i would be the Post Man (no its not an obsession) but he has a good work ethic and is very dedicated not to mention that he must have some awesome scenes considering he even knows link is link when he is in wolf form. His job takes him all over the kingdom to places that few get to see... plus a great outfit

So many cool characters I can't choose!
Let's assume I like to be Link best. Going on adventures, being not incredibly dump, being mute, throwing around pots to look for rupees, having a fancy outfit.... Yes!

Other characters that came to mind:
Tingle, very cool, but I think I would be ashamed somehow. Hopefully somebody else goes for that.
The same goes for the chicks like Malon and Nabooru, hopefully there are around somewhere.
Error was a good choise too! Just like the dump woman who wants water.
The guy that teaches you the song of storms, endlessly enjoying his own music.
Some enemies; Darknuts or Ironknuckes, Trinexx (many cool ones in this section too)
... and many, many more! There are not many characters in the series I don't like!

BUT, at this moment I choose.... *drum roll*

Deku link before he has his Ocarina back!

Now that was something! Running around in a messed up body while the moon is falling down to destroy your world, and you can't do anything! Pretty exciting I think!
