What is the worst movie you've ever seen?
The worst movie I ever saw was Napolean Dynamite. It was so boring, and stupid. The only good part is when some guy tries to jump a home made ramp, and hurts himself. The rest is just plain out boring.

Pfff, at least there is a good bit.
My worst film of all time is 2001: A Space Odessy. I can't say anything good happened in this film, because NOTHING HAPPENS IN THE WHOLE FILM. There is one scene, with just a spaceship floating through space with music in the background, for literally 5 minutes. WHAT THE HELL? Who would've thought this was the same director as a Clockwork Orange and The Shining? WORST FILM EVER.

I thought Waterworld was pretty bad. So many plotholes, Narmy lines, the villains were "Smokers" (oh noes!) yet... I actually enjoy watching it sometimes when it comes on TV *because* it's so bad. Very campy and goofy. It's one of those "so bad, it's fun to watch" things for me.

My worst film of all time is 2001: A Space Odessy.
I would have to agree. It is often regarded as a fantastic movie, and the best of it's genre, but I recently watched it and was bored out of my mind. The plot with HAL was somewhat interesting for about 5 minutes, but it fizzled out very quickly. The whole prehistoric part was uninteresting and the whole ending was just... "what...?"
I know many people would try and tell me that I wasn't seeing the hidden message or I wasn't sophisticated enough, but I went to film school and spend a good amount of time surrounded by independant art films and I STILL don't get what 2001 was about other than the small idea about machines rising up to take us over.
I think the problem with it was it was novel at the time. Granted, there's some neat shots like the round room that rotates around, but they linger waaaay toooo loooong. Maybe people back when it came out were more interested by slow moving plots and very long shot, but in this day and age, it doesn't suffice to keep me entertained.
I would also agree with Naploean Dynamite. Same kind of "nothing's happening" type movie. I was told by many I'd love it, and by the end of it I was fast forwarding it to see if anything was going to happen. It bored me to no end.
I'm not saying that no one can get entertainment from these films, but for me, I need a movie where things actually happen in them. :P

My worst movie of all time is Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation.
I... wow. The only part that was even vaguely cool was Barraka, and then was probably just because he didn't talk.
But same as Shadsie is with Waterworld, I still kind of like watching it because it's hilarious.

I hate you for hating Napolean Dynamite. It's the best thing ever.
I think the worst films I've ever seen are a few of the Harry Potter ones,
seriously those jokers can't act.

Guys...guys.....are we all forgetting about the film Catwoman?!?!?....that film was seriously the worst film ever made.....It failed so badly
I hated every second of the film...it was boring and badly put together, Catwoman is best left off being explained in a Batman film.

Epic Movie was the worst movie ever, It sucked so hard.. I don't even know why I sat through it. I enjoyed Napolean Dynamite and Waterworld, I like Kevin Costner... I think it was because he did really good with Robin Hood. Plus, I always wanted to be able to breathe under water without equipment. Napolean Dynamite was cool, but it probably wouldn't have been as good if we didn't have a kid in High School that was EXACTLY like that.
I like Napoleon Dynamite, but I suppose it's more of a cult film that few people 'get'. One of the worst films I've seen has to be Three. Ugh.
ahh it was "jaws" (the classic one) i did not enjoy that movie, it was all a fake, bad quality for me, and... those sharks R mechanical controlled ones... not good movie for me

Id have to say none other than twilight! The guy they chose for edward literally killed the idea of edward himself. I'm saying they killed a vampire. The movie was fair but the acting was lacking something...
Im not quite a fan of the series but I hope New moon is better. The trailers look good. So i might be in the theaters sometime soon.

The worst movie i've ever seen was called Night of the Lepus.
It's about these scientists who created giant killer rabbits. After they discover the horrible mistake they made, they hunt down the rabbits and attempt to kill them all, before they kill all mankind. It is supposed to be a horror film, though I personally found it hilarious!
Anyway, if you've seen the Monty Python clip with the killer rabbit you will understand why I was laughing so hard throughout this 'horror movie'. It's a terrible movie, complete with bad acting, cheesy effects and some bad dialog to boot. Even so, it is tons of fun to watch simply because its cheesy.

I'd have to say anything 40 years or older (with a few exceptions). Old stuff that thinks that in 50 years we will be in space with blasters and robots that do everything are usually pretty bad for me (the old "The Day the Earth Stood Still" is okay, though).

How dare they use their imaginations?! How dare filmmakers present a future that is fantastic and not based in reality!
Seriously kid, hating old movies because they used the end and turn of the century as a "far in the future" time period and thus had a world where robots, flying cars and all kind of futuristic stuff appear isn't stupid or a quality that makes a movie bad. Considering it is still done today it just sounds like a shallow thing to dislike them for. People enjoy watching stories based in the near future even if the movie presents things that won't exist even by then.

the worst movie ever was, i know some people in youtube hate this(well maybe not ONLY youtube) DragonBall Evolution
It was a BAD adaptation from the anime, Picolo doesn't look like picolo in the Anime, he looks like a guy with antennas and has a skin disease oh and don't get me reminded about the actors, some of them acted good but some were really bad. i dare not continue for i might get flamed

This is a hard question and sorry but I´m not going to think too much while writing this post. I hate movies like "Scary Movie" and in fact the movie I mentioned could be one of the worst ever (there are movies that are even worse, but at least they are so bad that it makes them fun)!!

You're the only one I found who also hated Twilight. I hate it more than anyone. And I can't get a chance with any girl thanks to Twilight. First of all, none of those guys in that gang were vampires. Vampires do not go in gangs and have super strength. Those vampires are kids and cannot turn into bats. Just so you know, a vampire has to be undead in order to be a vampire (referenced from Bram Stroker's Dracula). But don't take my words for it. Just watch this review

I would have to say this.
Knowing looked interesting enough from the previews. My family and I all wanted to go see it. Well, we never did actually go to the theater to see it, which turned out to be for the better, and we saw it On Demand instead.
The movie confused me since the beginning. Lots of numbers, and then Nicolas Cage somehow saw something in them. Then it turned out something was coming up. Almost a whole movie later, we're expecting to see the main character do something amazing to save their doomed planet. Then they all die except for two kids, then end. Worst. Ending. EVER.

Some of the best movies of all time were made over 40 years ago.
* Majority of Charlie Chaplin's works, almost all of them are perfect
* The original German Metropolis
* Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the single greatest animation
* Multiple classics (Citizen Kane, Casablanca, etc.)
It may not be the worst movie ever, but I did not enjoy Napoleon Dynamite, personally.

I must agree with this. I mean, it was a pretty good movie, and I didn't find it boring. I mean, first, you think it is about kids becoming demon possessed who can determine the fate of the world, but it turns out to be freaky guys who possess them. I mean, really? Why would you follow glowing pale guys in trench coats? Of course, up until the last 20 minutes, it was pretty good.
And by the way, it was more than two kids. The weird alien guys took two of every race and pretty much set them in a setting that looks like The Moon from Majora's Mask.

Twilight was horrible, they made vampires look like sparkly gay guys!
Movies such as 'My Best Friend's Wedding', all Hugh Grant trash and stuff like Twilight make me sick. So do movies like Avatar.
We should have real films being exhibited, not only explosions and stupid love comedies.

The worst movie I've seen? That would definitely have to be a movie called Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. Seriously, gopher-chucks?

The new remake of the Wolfman was dreadfully terrible, and the worst movie I've ever seen. I went to the cinema, expecting a great horror film, and it wound up being a sad attempt to make an epic action movie. They completely obliterated the original plot, and ruined any credibility of there ever being a good werewolf film.

I didn't really like Napoleon Dynamite either. I don't hate it, I just didn't find it funny. At all. I guess there's a big joke in there that I'm missing because everyone else I spoken to thinks it's one of the best comedies ever made, and I have to wonder if we saw the same movie.
But the worst movie I ever saw.... that's an easy one. The Happening.

Theodore Rex is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I saw it in a store for 2 euro and I was like: "OMG it has a dinosaur in it...I have to buy it." What a waste of 2 euro...I still don't understand what the story was and it was just boring :(.
I also didn't like the movie of Eragon. It was on tv a month ago, but after half an hour I shut down the tv because the movie ripped the original story to shreds. Last but not least my grandparents have the most weird pinokkio movie ever made, but I watched all the time because the other three movies they had were also bad -.-

I have to say the American style Dragonball that came out recently was absolutely horrible. I have never seen such a horribly modified theme, and of one of my favorite anime's too. The fighting scenes were horrible and the plot was terrible. I could tell it was going to be horrible just from the advertisement but still...

Why do most guys hate Twilight? Now what if every girl hated everything a guy worships? NOW, how to do you feel. The movie Twilight wasn't bad compared to the book. They forgot a few minor details, but it's okay.
But I absolutely HATE scary movies in general... well, not really one that are also comedies, but just any scary movies I'll hate because I hate being scared for no apparent reason.

If you watch Troll 2 and you may have a change of opinion on most hilariously bad, LOL. The acting is so terrible it's comical.
Worst not hilariously bad movie I've seen: Batman & Robin (with George Clooney as Batman). The worst part is that travesty of a movie cost me probably $30 since I saw it on a date in the theater back in '97.
I think Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is one of the worst movies I've seen, although I found it humorous nonetheless.

Not counting all the bad movies I've seen through MST3K, I'd have to say Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Happy Feet.

Bridge to Terabithia. The book was good, but the movie...not so much. I thought there would be more fantasy to it than I thought. I was expecting something like the Narnia series and I didn't get it. I know most people like it but I just didn't. It was boring.
Beverly Hills Chihuahua by far I hated that movie so much it didn't make sense it went to fast and it sucked!

While I don't have one in mind, here's something interesting. IMDB lists "Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2" as the worst movie of all time. I just happen to go to school with the Fitzgerald triplets from the movie who played the "Big Kahuna", one of the main characters of the film. LOL, I wonder how they feel about their movie being the worst movie of all time... :/
EDIT: Ok, I just watched a movie that'll blow all these other movies out of the water. Has anyone seen the movie called "The Room"? It's EASILY the worst movie ever. It's so bad that it was originally supposed to be a drama/romance but everyone thought that it was so cheesy and hilarious because of the bad acting, that the producer (who was also the director, writer, and lead actor) decided to market it as a black comedy. Even though it's so bad, it's now one of my favorites because it makes me "LOOOOOL."
**SPOILERS** The lead actor (Tommy Wiseau) looks like a mix of Jesus, Fabio and a cyborg and he has a Swedish/Russian/French (SOMETHING European..) accent. The main fight scene consists of chicken impressions and it ended with Johnny (main character) saying "I fed up wit dis worurld." There's MANY repetitive scenes such as Johhny's wife Lisa talking to her mother and the dialogue always goes like this:
"I don't love Johnny anymore"
"But he supports you."
"He's boring and I love Mark."
"That's not right Lisa."
There's about 5 sex scenes that almost look exactly the same and look really awkward. Every time Lisa's new boyfriend Mark comes over, she tries to seduce him and EVERY time he has no clue what's going on. He still looks confused the 5th time she tries to seduce him. There's about 3 or 4 scenes consisting of Johnny and his friends playing football in the alley in tuxedos (Don't ask me why..) There's also about a billion pointless subplots that happen in scenes that add nothing to the main plot of the movie and aren't even mentioned again such as:
-Denny (some 14 year old that Johnny and Lisa hangout with) having a gun pointed at his head because he didn't pay for his drug money. There's this whole dramatic scene but it leads to NOTHING and is never mentioned again.
-Some random couple that were never introduced come into Johnny's house to have sex on the couch. Again, this serves no point.
-Lisa's mom CASUALLY telling Lisa that she's dying of breast cancer. Lisa CASUALLY responds with "It's nothing to worry about." Never mentioned again.
-Denny telling Johnny that he's madly in love with Johnny's girlfriend Lisa. Johnny doesn't really care and responds with "Dat ok Denny. You can love someone as a human bean wit yur heart on dee inside."
The movie's also famous for really unorganized dialogue such as:
"Hi."
"Yeah, can I have a dozen red roses" *Takes of glasses*
"Hi Johnny, I didn't recongnize you." (Pause) "Here you go"
"That's me!"
"That's 18 dollars"
"Here you go keep the change hi doggie" (All in one long sentence, while running out of the store)
"You're my favorite customer"
^BTW it doesn't sound as bad as it is unless you actually look it up on youtube.
"Did you get the promotion?"
"No."
"Hmm.. You didn't get the promotion, did you?"
"YOU ARE TEARING ME APART LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!" Said like the Hulk.
"I got a new client at the bank today."
"WHAT?! WHO?!"
"I can not tell you. It is confidential"
"Come on, tell me."
"No I can not anyways so how is your sex life?"
^That was changing topics a little too quickly..
There is SOOO much more but I've ranted a lot. This really is a movie that you have to see to believe.. The best thing to do is to type in "Nostalgia critic review of the room" or "Obscurus Lupa review of the room" on youtube. It'll show you just how bad the movie is. SERIOUSLY, WATCH IT!
My least favorite movie is Alien 3 it was such a let down it was BAD with a capital B

I don't know what they're called, but I would say the worst movies are those stupid movies that are full of sexual innuendo, cursing, and violence, and have a very simple plot thrown in. There are so many of them that I can't list them all, but I'd consider any of them to be the worst movie I've ever seen.
I didn't bother to remember their names, that's how bad they were.

^ This.
The worst movie I've seen beginning to end is probably Transformers. It actually fit this description perfectly, and it's funny how surprised everyone was when the second movie turned out to be horrible--the first movie was an incoherent action-fest, so why did anyone expect the second to be any better? I also have very little respect for the slasher genre or exploitation films. I thought Kill Bill was kind of horrible and have no idea why it's so popular. Also, Meet the Fockers might be the worst, least funny comedy I have ever seen.
I usually make it a point to see movies I've heard are good, so I guess that's why the worst movies I've seen aren't widely considered the worst. In the case of Meet the Fockers, it got bad reviews but I loved the first movie so I saw it anyway. Bad idea.
Tommy Wiseau's The Room sounds like it would be worse than anything on this list, but I've only watched parts of it and seen reviews (the Nostalgia Critic's review is particularly funny).
Also I would like to mention the SMB movie
I would say the Room, but I haven't actually seen it. So I'll say the Starwars Holiday Special.
The worst couple of movie I've seen in the last week or so was Daybreakers and The Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Both were boring while Daybreakers was unnecessarily a gore fest and The Wall Street was predictable and sappy.
But none of those movies are anything compared to The Room.

Ugh, I know right?
The book itself was pretty bad, and the movie only made me long that Smeyer's idea of vampires could have been killed by onions and wooden sticks.

For me, the two worst movies i've ever seen are (in no particular order)
1- Meet the Fockers
For a movie that was supposed to be funny, I found it to be incredibly boring. The only funny part was...oh wait. There were no funny parts. It was a waste of my time renting it out and watching it. I want my $4 back. -._-.
2-Twilight
I know i'm going to get alot of rap for this, but I hated the movie. I watched the first hour, and it was terrible. Absolutely attrocious acting and direction. I actually pulled out my DS and played around with ST while my friend and his sister watched it in awe.

300- I know that it has a lot of epic quotes like "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" But there wasn't enough action, and too much mystical stuff to make it seem like a real movie. I remember they were making a wall out of skulls O_o.... how creepy is that?

My least favorite movie is Alien 3 it was such a let down it was BAD with a capital B
No no no sir, Alien 3 was genious in comparison to the ****fest known as Alien: Ressurection. That film is probably one of the most terrible films I can think of in terms of the Alien films. Also I'd like to mention Catwoman, which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned in here before.
Alien: Ressurection was pretty much a copy of the first film, except a little worse, although the Aliens were slightly cooler due to the CGI effects, but that was about it because it's obviously easier for the Aliens to move if they are animated, then the slow, unrealistic movements they make in the original films, but they still are awesome.

Twilight- everyone's really like crazy about it, but it was a horrible movie to me, it could've been done a lot better. I'm glad they got a new director for the other ones.
Drag Me To Hell- it was an alright movie, but on a scale of 1-10 i would rate it like a 4 because.. it was just... boring. I found no suspense or interest in it.

I already replied some time back, expressing how bad, yet strangely enjoyable I find Waterworld.
I just thought of a couple of other bad movies I've seen. The first is cheating, though.
I saw something called Time Chasers once - on a download of MSTK3. You see, it's cheating, becuase it was already being ripped into. It's also forgiveable because it was obviously a student film. It's just, it's so funny to see a sparkling utopian future that looks just like 1987, not to mention what a bad idea small planes are as time travel vehicles. The fancy computers used to travel through time were obselete in the same year the movie was made.
The next that I thought of I saw years ago. Anybody here seen something called The Omega Code? Yick. I watched that back when I was going through my obession with the end of the world and apocalyptic Bible prophecy stuff. It was something I watched "back when I was more religious." The film was made specifically for people who are into that stuff - so, if you don't know much or anything about a *specific* school of thought within a *specific* sector of Christianity (this model isn't even what "all Christians" think, trust me), you aren't going to "get it" at all. I knew some of what was going on with the school of thought it came from and I still didn't get it. It was like a cut-rate Left Behind (haven't seen the movie, but read half the novels and now think they are a steaming pile - and The Omega Code was like a steaming pile of a film that didn't live up to the steaming pile novels I read). I couldn't follow the film and what acting I did see was... I think the actor playing the protagonist, to paraphrase Futurama's Calculon, gave me cancer. I actually don't remember anything from this film other than it was supposed to be about the apocalypse and was horrible.

My least favorite movie would probably be Avatar. You know, the one with the blue people called the Na'vi or whatever the heck it was spelled as. I just thought it was really boring and unentertaining.
Another contender would probably be Eight Below or whatever it's called, that movie was boring as heck.

I would have to say Percy Jackson and the olympians.
They ripped out the plot, Made the actors 5 years older, got rid of the main villen and made a new one, gave the hero extra powers, and made a subplot where the whole thing was "a quest to find the pearls", making the whole thing a multi-million version of dora the expolorer. The actors were bad, and the movie was just terrible. The author wrote an amazing book, and the main actor hadn't even read it! IT'S CALLED A PLOT. The director was supposed to be acurate!
Sorry for shouting and ranting, I needed to get that out of my system. Sufice to say the movie should be erased from all records, posters should be burned, and all who've seen PJ&TO need a memory wipe.

Eragon. I Am obsessed with the books, don't get me wrong, but he movie was horrible. This is probley just bias, and I think I would have liked it more if it wasn't based off of eragon. Tey just destroyed the plot. I mean whats with the whole thing with saphria flying up into the clouds, and then coming up 8x larger?

It's a close race between Emmerich's Godzilla, Twister and Batman & Robin, but even worse than those three stinkers is...
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Catwoman_poster.jpg
The plot is weak and has nothing to do with the comic books. While the second one in itself would be perfectly fine, the combination of both makes the whole film pointless. Why get the rights to a popular franchise when you don't use any of it besides the name?
Add to that the atrocious acting of Halle Berry (who can do better), Sharon Stone (who can do better) and the Merovingian (who can do better), and pointless becomes bad.
Sub-par visual effects and unforgivable editing mistakes (Catwoman leaves the background on the right side, only to appear in the front, on the roof of a diffferent house, from the left side!), and simple bad becomes offensively, painfully horrible.
Sure, there are films like Plan 9 From Outer Space that aim too high and fail miserably. But in the case of Catwoman, it's obvious that the writers, the director, all of the actors, cameramen, the cutters, the special FX guys... the entire cast and crew just doesn't give a $#!+.
Add to all of that what could have been (http://www.dccomics.com/media/product/1/2/1293_400x600.jpg), and it's downright physically painful.

I haven't really seen too many movies I disliked but I did see one that I really hated. Street Dance 3D, I saw it at a friend's birthday party and I pretty much predicted the entire movie, the plot was dreadful, so many cliches. I also found the movie offensive, they make fun of ballet dancers, implying that they are all posh, stupid, snobby and can't do anything except ballet. I wanted to turn it of and kill the television so badly...but for some unknown reason, one of my friends liked it...the dancing was okay. But seriously...worst plot ever. I literally said as soon as I saw two characters "Them two will end up together." And yes, of course they did, everything was so obvious.

Death at a Funeral. Worst plot and movie ever. I would probably saved almost 2 hour's of my time without watching this. Only fun part's was where Oscar, a character, get's so high off of a pill that he get's from his girlfriend, thinking that it is asprin but it isn't, so he goes into a tantrum.
Stan Hellsing- I can't explain this because the movie was so stupid. I couldn't even finish the movie without falling asleep. :/

The worst movie I've seen? That would definitely have to be a movie called Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. I really can't remember much about it anymore, I've only seen it once and that was several years ago. The beginning was... okay, but the movie just got really boring, and stupid. Seriously, gopher-chucks?
Ha! That movie was awful! I watched it with a friend and almost could not finish it.
Napoleon Dynamite takes a bit to get into, but it's fun to watch with friends.
Jumper was a terrible movie. Caleb and I hardly made it through and it was such a waste of time. Cool concept, poor delivery.

The worst movie i've ever seen came out a few years ago and was called "A Serious Man" THIS. MOVIE. WAS. AWFUL!!!! it was arguably the most boring thing i've ever seen in my life! that's the best way to describe this movie: BORING! this movie was so awful, i couldn't even tell what genre it was supposed to be. was it comedy? no, it had NO JOKES in it. was it action? god, i wish. was it suspense? no, because it was SO BORING. the plot is about a jewish man, just trying to live his life. i know what you're thinking, how could such a gripping concept POSSIBLY be boring? but wait, it gets even worse! the characters are are two-dimensional and had absolutely NO personality. now, put these characters into a plot more boring than ANYONE'S modern life, and you get this movie. the movie had a prologue (if you can call it that) that had absolutely NO RELEVANCE to the plot. speaking of which, NOTHING HAS RELEVANCE TO THE PLOT!!! i'm not joking, almost nothing happens throughout the entirety of this movie, when you think something MIGHT be happening, it turns out that the main character was just dreaming. i've thoght it over multiple time since i've seen it, and i STILL can't make sense of the ending. in conclusion, don't watch this movie, the only thing you'll get from it is a feeling that you've just wasted two hours of your life and how you want that time back.

I think I might have posted in here before (or at least in an older version of this thread), but I totally have a new worst movie ever.
Time Bokan. Okay, technically it was two OVA, not quite a movie, but I'm still counting it. It's this crossover anime that came out a couple of years ago, with characters from a bunch of Tatsunoko (anime studio) series that came out way back in the 70s, like Yatterman, Tekkaman and Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets in the US), just to name a few.
It's also the worst thing I've ever seen. It's just... poorly directed and insane, with low production quality. It was pretty chaotic, but not even in a way that made for appealing comedy. And the voice-acting was terrible.
Augh. >.<

I know right?! It's a good movie, but it would have been a lot better if they didn't change the plot that much. They didn't even mention Kronos, the Oracle, Mr. D etc.
I'm not exactly sure about the worst movie that I had seen. I think that it would be this one movie called 'Home on the Range'. It's really annoying, and there's way too much dancing and singing.

I'd definitely have to say Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. It had no main plot/storyline whatsoever. I was genuinely confused as to where the story was going until the very end. Even then the movie didn't come together 100%.
Also, and movie that makes fun of another movie. Such as all of the Scary Movies, Vampires Suck (specifically after Twilight), and many others. I guess this may depend on if the person read the series compared to someone who didn't. But still I feel these movies are made simply to bring in money; nothing else. And that's quite ironic because they usually don't do that.

I haven't actually seen a lot of bad movies before... I'd have to say that the worst was Where the Wild Things Are.
In my opinion, the movie lacked 1 thing: the ability to make sense. It was a good concept, and an overall good movie. The thing was, it didn't make sense. None of the movie went with itself, the mood would change unexpectedly and for no reason whatsoever, and, in the end, it pulled itself together TERRIBLY. In the end, he just came home, and ate some food. His mom looked at him lovingly, as if he hadn't just ran away. Really? I know it's fiction, but at least make the real life scenes realistic!
And there's my rant on Where the Wild Things Are.

I couldn't disagree more.
In the case of Where the Wild Things Are, you need to keep in mind that it's told exclusively from Max' point of view. Max is a highly creative kid (think of the story he tells his mother in the beginning) that obviously doesn't get enough attention. His trust into other people (his sister, her circle of friends, his absent mother) has been severely hurt time and again. He is a loner, but not by choice. He is angry, because every time something is going the way he likes it, it gets taken away, and most of the times, he gets hurt in the process. His mother might try to give him a good childhood, but she gets torn apart between her responsibility towards him and between her job, which takes her away from him, but is necessary to put food on the table, to buy clothes, toys, all of which is to his benefit as well. But he doesn't understand that. He feels betrayed. By her, by his sister, by the whole world.
All of this shows up in the characterizations of the individual Wild Things later on in the movie. And it's not important if you believe that everything on the island Where The Wild Things Are is in Max' head (which would make each of the Wild Things a manifestation of a different part of Max' psyche) or not (which would mean that those are just the traits that he notices in them the most). Either way you see it, through them, Max learns valuable lessons about life. Through them, he gets to experience the other side. When he becomes King of the Wild Things, he experiences the responsibility his mother has. And he realizes that you can't please everybody. Either way you slice it, somebody always feels left out. Somebody always feels slighted, betrayed.
There movie displays drastic mood swings because that's how childhood is like. One moment, you're having the time of your life, and the next moment, everything (for example, say, an igloo) seems ruined beyond repair. In fact, those unpredictable mood swings are a huge reason why I like this movie so much.
About that ending:
Either he travelled to another dimension where time moves different, or the whole trip has been in his head. I prefer the former, but I can understand if anyone interprets the whole thing as the fantasy of an unruly kid. Either way, from his mother's point of view, he can't have been gone for more than an hour, two hours tops. Of course she takes him back. That's what mothers are for.

Hmmm....toss up between Chicago and Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight.
Chicago probably would take the title as worst movie I've ever seen, since DoAT is so awful it's actually entertaining to me. Chicago has to be the one movie that I would seriously marry Valtome from Fire Emblem before ever watching again.
Edit: Wait just a dang minute! Nevermind! I found my all time least favorite movie/series EVER.
Short explanation: there's really no way for me to put this mildly. Achilles = my life. Pretty much. I can't explain it without going into a ridiculously long novel-length history, or an equally long essay about my future. Suffice to say, Achilles means the world to me.
Now...I could have put up with him being bald. As difficult as it is to swallow, I could put up with it. Although since I've glimpsed Achilles before, he's definitely not bald. =/ I get it that most people don't know exactly what Achilles looked like, but the descriptions of him are so specific on a lot of details...I mean, it's like hiring Pikachu to star in Harry Potter and drawing a little lightning bolt on his forehead. Just doesn't work.
Still, I could have put up with it.
What I could not put up with was his butt-kissing to Agamemnon, the very cheated "fight" with Hector, lack of conflict over him pulling out of the war due to his fight with Agamemnon, etc. And if that wasn't all, Agamemnon was not portrayed very well. Don't get me wrong - the actor was great. But the actual character was very inaccurate. Then again, same thing was done in Troy, but Troy was not an adaptation of the Iliad, it was more like a different take on the telling of the historical war. Overall, Helen of Troy sucked. I can't really find anything redeeming about it whatsoever apart from Menelaus at least being shown to have loved Helen (whereas, in Troy, he was an evil drunk who hated everything and had no actual personality).

Yesterday my mum took my siblings and I to the cinema for a treat. So somehow we ended up seeing Gnomeo and Juliet. I fell asleep after about 10 minutes then wanted to leave. When you base a movie on a famous story you can predict everything. And seriously...gnomes? It mocked William Shakespear. I cringed sooo much and it was so predictable. Painfull. It's a kid's movie too, so why my mum took us to see it anyway I don't know. But it was pure awful.

Mean Girls 2 was worst movie ever made by Disney productions that I watch Movie Online (http://www.moviesorb.com/) last night. It was such a creepy way to present the teenage girls life. >:( I always assume that sequel of movies would always be better and even better but it was not same in the case of Mean Girls 2 may be they missed Lindsey Lohan. The Room is hands down the worst movie ever made. It was written, directed, produced and starred in by the same guy, Tommy Wiseau. The whole movie is basically a softcore porno, and Wiseau classifies it as a dark comedy. I have no idea how. You see more of his *** than you do of his face, both of which are not pretty sights. The acting is terrible, the plot is a mess, and a character changes actors in one part of the movie, due to someone leaving the cast because it was so bad. It wins worst movie of all time no contest.

I'm not too picky when it comes to film. Sure, many films I've seen aren't masterpieces, but if I'm entertained, then they did their job. Then there's the fact that I can be pretty picky about what films I actually watch. If the trailer and/or summary seems interesting, then I'll give it a chance. Most of the time, it works. Even all the horrible direct-to-video Disney sequels don't bother me too much since I decided to ignore them and hence I haven't seen most of them.
But if there is one movie that actually made me cringe because of how bad it was, it has to be Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The first one was a decent popcorn film. Not a masterpiece, but it at least had a coherent and easy-to-follow plot. RotF had...pieces of a plot thrown about. There were some cool ideas, but they never really went anywhere. The humor was misplaced and it, along with the excessive swearing, really distracted from any serious tone they might have been going for. In fact, you know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of a lot of fanfics I see: decent idea, but the author has no developed skills at storytelling and so the entire thing is a mess.

Agghh, if Alone in the Dark was a person I would punch him in the face. If I tried to do it to Uwe Boll he'd beat me up 8P. But seriously, this film had bad effects, terrible actors, and the longest backstory ever that ultimately ended up influencing like one-tenth of the already thin main plot. (I could also go off on a tangent about how much I hate Sleepwalkers, but I shall spare all.)

It's called Sharktopus. And it's a Syfy movie. Syfy movies are known to be corny, cheesy, low budget, poorly written, have bad acting, and just all around crappy. They're B-movies. They're really not supposed to be that good.
Blue Streak was the worst movie that I had ever seen in my life.
