Hello! This will be where I keep my collection of Zelda-related graphics so they don't get lost among graphics in other threads. Feel free to use what I have posted as long as you thoroughly read the terms and agree to them. So far, my signature collection is a single image, but I'll work on more. Right now, there are over 100 icons available, so take a look!

There's a TP screenshot I want to turn into a banner, but it needs a few adjustments. I don't want the trees in the way of the horizon, so maybe by lightening those areas or the whole image, you could make them stand out a lot less. I want the horizon to be dominated by a red sunset (just like, a red semicircle with some glowy effects and stuff), and Link removed from the foreground.
If you could put three people (silhouettes of Link, Zelda, and a Gerudo) somewhere in the distance (but close enough to make out their general shape), standing in a circle, with a large full Triforce above them, that'd be great. Also, I'd like the banner saying "Hyrule Field" have the text changed to read "The Legend of Zelda: Destiny's Hand", preferably in a more noticable/larger font.

Oh good, I'm glad you like it! As for editing posts that are pretty old... I don't know. I think there's a time limit on this forum, but I can't be sure. I think that if you started the thread you can edit the first post for a long while, but as for other posts... I'm not sure. It'd be best to ask one of the mods. :)

PhotoShop CS3. Thanks for the compliment. I had DA, but I've not used it in years. So, it's pretty much dead.

I was messing around in PhotoShop with an old, old piece of fanart... I really love ALttP Zelda. I think her design is so perfect, but she never gets any attention. Well, I made a wallpaper. Currently, it's only 1280x768, but alterations can be made. I'll probably just go ahead and post the .psd after a while. Click the preview to download!

Quite alright! Doujinshi is basically a term used for unofficial manga. Think "fan manga". When somebody writes/draws a manga that is unofficial and/or unlicensed, it is called "doujinshi". It is basically self-published, non-professional, a fan work, or a combination of all that to be called "doujinshi".

Empress Zeruda (:P) my question to you is: Do you draw this on paper and scan them? Not all work I know, but if you draw on the pc do you use soft or hard brushes to paint the main lines? I am getting back into digital painting but what bugs me the most are those lines. Even when I use a 2 px brush the lines are still so thick. Maybe it's the color black? can you give me some advice if you can and want?

Anything I make using official artwork is obviously not drawn by myself.
Other works, like this one: { http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/105/f/8/A_Single_Thread_of_Fate_by_Zeruda.jpg } are drawn by hand and colored in PhotoShop. And then there are oekaki, which is purely drawn in very simple art programs { http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/152/7/c/7c9ce2b7d43f010703e7bffd531cbc31.png }

When I do lines in PhotoShop, I just use a normal round brush on 100% opacity. For large images, I use the pen/path tool with those settings. For smaller images, I sketch away with only the brush. If you want a thinner line, use a smaller brush. I use a 5px hard round black brush, but my images are HUGE when I scan them in, so once I scale them down, the lines look much smaller and more smoothe.

For oekaki, just use the smallest brush. I never really lower the opacity or lighten the color since I like chunky and/or messy black lines. The sketchy, story-book style is one of my favorites.

There is no fanfiction uploaded for the Twilight Sorceress. As I said, it was a character design for a fan game for a prequel to Twilight Princess.

Anyway, it depends on what you want. That Twilight Sorceress picture was drawn back in 2008, so it's quite old and my skills developed and changed a lot since then. I make my art in various ways. I can ink it on paper and then color on the computer. I can do both inking and coloring on the computer. I can do inking and coloring on paper. I can do pretty much any of that.

My graphics, however (like the wallpapers and avatars I've uploaded) are all made from screenshots and whatnot, obviously not drawn by my hands. If you want, I can make a Prince Ralis signature using screenshots, official art, comics, etc. Actually drawing him out with my own hands and then coloring him, though... well, that's something called a "commission", and that requires a form of payment.

So, I assume you'd rather I just make a signature from official art and/or screenshots for free.... I'll see what I can do.

If it belongs to somebody else, then you should ask them for permission. Taking and editing something that belongs to somebody else is theft, and that's a big no-no. If it's artwork, find the artist and ask them. If it's official art or a screenshot, then it's fine.

Well, I couldn't do much with the one you provided, so I just tried with official art. I made both a signature and an avatar in case you wanted a matching set.

So, save them to your harddrive and then upload them to whatever you like. I provided two file extensions of the avatar (.png and .gif). I recommend saving both. The .png one you can use anywhere, but since the filesize limits here are low, you'll need to use the .gif one here on ZD if you want it to look good.

Use the [ img ] [ /img ] tags in your signature rather than browsing to the folder. You should put it as:

Simple Skyward Sword set:
For the avatars, there are two versions, and two file extensions of each version. Each version (only slight color difference) has a .png file extension for use outside of Zelda Dungeon, and each version also has a .gif file for use here at Zelda Dungeon. Using the .gif provided here at ZD allows you to keep the image quality. Normally, using .png is better, but the filesize is larger. There is a bar across the icon for insertion of a username or something.

I'm a little confused... you want a signature or a profile picture? Signatures and profile pictures differ in sizes. Profile pictures are squared while sigs are more often rectangular, so please be a little more specific with your request.

Did you read the threads I provided? I think you're probably not using the proper codes.

In the text field of the Signature section, put the URL for the image between the and tags in your signature. Do NOT try putting it there with the upload button.

You can upload it. Save the .gif one to your computer and upload it in the control panel. Or, you can paste the URL for it. Pretty much do it the same way you did it with your current avatar.
