It's rather difficult to say which my favorite artist is, because of my tastes that are varying, and not all artists appeal to me at all times. The artists which are my perhaps my favorite, would be the following:
Hansi Kürsch has an incredible voice, and a pleasing vocal range. He is the lead vocalist of power metal band, Blind Guardian. His charming ability to sound practically perfect live - from singing a slow ballad or along to speed metal.
John Lennon was an influence, not just by his person views, but by his music. As a solo artist or as a member of The Beatles, he was able to capture his listeners into his work - and give them hope. He truly made the simplistic something wonderful.
Candice Night is the lead of Blackmore's Night. I find her voice to be incredibly soothing, along with the instruments which accompany her music. I enjoy how relaxing her vocals are, and I enjoy it very much.
Now, for my favorite songs..
1. The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian
2. Imagine by John Lennon
3. Victory Song by Ensiferum
Those are the songs that I want to hear the most right now. :)
Not likely that those are my all time favorite.

2. Simple Plan
3. Three Days Grace
4. 3 Doors Down
(Sorry. I have 4).
This is going to be a tough desision. I have so many favorite songs that I can not answer this question.

At the minute mine are:
Breaking Benjamin - Until the End
I am a fairly new fan of Breaking Benjamin since a friend showed put one of their songs on his Ipod during Maths (Which we are allowed to do sometimes) and I liked them.
AC/DC - TNT
I have been a Fan of AC/DC since I heard TNT on Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4. I prefer all the songs by Bon Scott (R.I.P) but I still enjoy the songs by Brian Johnson.
Weird Al - White n' Nerdy
I have been a fan of Weird Al for a few years and at the minute this is the song of his I have listened to the most.

*Aerosmith ''I dont want to miss a thing''
*''Nickelback ''If today was your last day''
*Shinedown ''Second chance''
Its weird, I dont usually listen to that style of music but when I really had to choose, I found myself gravitating to it. Which is weird, Im more of a hip hop person. But I still love those songs :)

Mine has had a makeover since last time, These are my favourites:
Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody
I have started listening to this song recently, I also found out Queen was in the 6 top selling artists around the world at around 5th or 6th. I also think that Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the greatest songs ever written. It is a great song.
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Can't Stop
Although they most of you may disagree with ths being there best, Once again it is the song of theirs that I have listened to the most followed by By the Way and a few others.
Nirvana: Smells like Teen Spirit
I have loved Nirvana for a long time, I think this is another great song. Unfortunately material like this was produced by Nirvana in 1991, This was when they really started going, But it wasn't to last long as in 1994 Kurt Cobain's life was cut short. This along with other songs like Nevermind and Lithium made Nirvana one of the my favourite bands.

Artists:
Pillar
Linkin Park
Green Day
Songs:
Numb (Linkin Park)
Throwdown (Pillar)
Comatose (Skillet)
Reasons:
Numb: The way I feel about my parents. Too tough to explain, but it's basically exactly what the lyrics are is how I feel.
Throwdown: Its meaning, and simply because I love the way it sounds.
Comatose: Basically the way I feel about Judai. *Waits for hate responses*

Not sure I can really narrow it down to three, especially since I like quite a variety of music, nonetheless,
Artists
1. Pink Floyd
2. Mansun (especially their album Six)
3. Mogwai (just about anything by them)
Songs
1. Special / Blown-it
2. Learning To Fly
3. Yasmin The Light
There's a hell of a lot of others, mostly post-rock and instrumental, but those are what I find myself listening to the most. Although I would have liked to add Do Make Say Think and Explosions in the Sky to the top Artists.
