I've never been such an enthusiastic fan (oh who am I kidding, in my youth I craved for Pokémon day in and day out). Recently it's been all about Zelda for me, but I have these periods where I brush some dust off my Emerald cartridge (or Diamond, for that matter), and just play. I enjoy games where you can level up, it's something with the feeling of doing progress that amuses me greatly.

I enjoyed the first few games, such as Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal. I really think that they went way overboard with all these new Pokemon. I can't keep track of any of them past the first 250 or so, and I even have trouble with them.
At one point, around the release of Pokemon Red & Blue, I was a 'huge' fan. Me and my friends used to brag about our high level Pokemon, and I always had the best party of any of us. A level 97 Venasaur, level 89 Aerodactyl, level 91 Raichu, level 75 Golduck, level 78 Charmander, and my pride and joy: level 100 Rhydon. I had 2 games at the time, Yellow and Red, so I decided I would trade over my Pikachu to red, evolve it to a Raichu, then trade it back. It worked, and my friends were like "z0mgz wtfx d00d!!" That Charmander was just to show all my friends how kickass I was. :P Ahh... I actually miss those days...

i don 't have one main team one diamond, because i trained so many pokemon.
so i have one box for EV trained pokemon and 1 box for legendary pokemon
all my ev trained are lvl 50 or higher and most of my legendaries are lvl 100. i don 't feel listing all lvls but i will list my pokemon. i'm pretty serious about the stats when i train and breed my pokemon.

Gallade
Scizor
Kingdra
Zangoose
Arcanine
Manectric
Togekiss
Weavile
Dragonite

Legendary:
Mew

Dialga
Girganta
Note: also got regice, registeel, regirock, suicune, eintei, raikou, regigigas, cressilia, heatran, azelf, uxie, mesprit. But they kinda suck and i didn 't train them, so i left them out of my legendary box.

yeah i know shinies are cool but about you question. there are only a few ways to get shiny reyquaza. i mean you can only find rayquaza on sky pillar in ruby/shappire or emerald but you have to be really lucky to encounter a legendary shiny.
some people are really hardcore, they use a method called soft resetting with GBA.
they save in front of a legendary, each time if they don 't encouter the legendary shiny, they reset with "A+B+select" until they encouter it shiny. even if you do this the changes are still small.
Or they simply just hack it with AR or GS. i only collect legit pokemon, because in PBR hacked pokemon are being blocked, and thats a good thing because people can 't cheat.
ar for me how that i obtained shiny rayquaza. I made a very good deal and traded it with someone. cool thing about it is: its legit, it was untouched (so that i could EV train the stats myself), and it had a modest nature which is very good with rayquaza 's base stats. so attack goes down and sp attck goes up.

yeah, thats an old rumor, that nintendo is planning to remake the 2gen pokemon games like firered or leafgreen. also in D/P the red gyrados was mentiond at the start.
about this info, its not just a made out rumor, actually one fanboy of pokemon who is also registerd on serebii (one of the biggest pokemon communities) questiond this in a intervieuw with satoshi (maker and founder of pokemon). he didn 't geve a clear awnser but they are thinking about it to remake it.

Ususally when Nintendo dodges questions, it means they are going to do that :)
If they remade them it would be the first time in like 8 or 9 years that I've bought a pokemon game, lol.

why? do you like the johto better then kanto, hoenn and shinnoh?
to be honest i think the 3 gen had the best pokemon off the all other generations.
about the remake, actually nintendo was planning to bring back many feature's to D/P that was in gold/silver/crystal. but i don 't know why they removed it.

I liked Kanto, but I never got into FireRed and LeafGreen. Some friends had Ruby and Saphire and those looked really dumb to me...same thing with Diamond and Pearl.
Just my opinion though...I know P/D is still really popular.

Lol you are not the only one.
i think more people had that phase when they were young.
and to think of it it started with that low quality anime.
i also collected the trading cards when i was young, but then somebody stole it from me and i remeber i was totally pissed about it.
now i only love the pokemon games. lets face it, it one of the best RPG 's out there.
and to think that you can now freely battle each other with wifi.
Currently i just got my wii back from repair. so i started over with Pokemon Battle revolution again. so if anyone wants a PBR battle or just D/P battle just PM me and we can exchange friend codes.

I also had pokemon cards (although i never bought one single card, always got unwanted cards) and i had a lot of pokemonflippo's including three turkish ones (they were huge!) and pokemon stickers from some kind of bubblegum. Sadly my mother threw it away three years ago.

man i'm very lucky.
on the birthday (19 april) of my best friend (some of you know him as dragonking) i could not sleep that night and i wanted to train a charizard because i wanted a strong fire type.
anyway. so i always breed to get the right nature.
there is a way to control that and get the right nature you want.
if you give a female an everstone it will take over its nature and the chance is 50%
so i always use dittos on everstones and breed them with males.
so i was starting to breed charmanders and after the 3th egg hatced i got a yellow charmander. i could not believe it for the very first time i obtained a shiny in my own account and the good thing is is inhabeted the nature (i was aiming for modest so i got modest). modest is sp attack up and attack down. another good thing is i could EV train it from lvl 1 to gain the bonus stats. i always train till lvl 50 normally for PBR.
now i got a black charizard thats modest gained al his bonus stats and high stats.
talk about luck. i was like "YES YES YES!!!"

Yeah I did too, with me it was ninja turtles, everybody was into it back in the 80's/early 90's. I had everything from the shirts and videogames to all the playsets and figures. I even owned turtles III on video at one time. (though I'll never own it again, man what a waste of good film).
I used to absolutely LOVE Pokémon when I was younger.
The show was awesome, and the game was even more awesome. Then the show started to get old because it's just the same thing over and over again, (and now they changed the voices AND Team Rockets motto), and the games just aren't as excited, and there's deffinately way too many Pokémon now.

I grew up on the pokemon series. Me and my brother both had gameboys. I first had blue and he had yellow. I used to just ride the bike everywere lol. whoooh, maybe some of you already know this but the new version of pokemon is coming soon called: pokemon platinum.
as the main legendary giratina ( like duuhh we saw that coming like pokemon crystal and emerald )
anyway this time its quite interesting
giratina in a other form or should i say its "Origin Form"
Here is giratina how we know it

and here its Origin form

Giratina was REALLY bad in Pearl; caught him too high a lvl so you couldn't EV him much. Probably the most dissapointing legendary.....if he wasn't a Dragon type he'd be out the door. Lot of the legendaries were dissapointing. Cresselia looked cool but I dont think I ever used her. Heatren...euch. Ugly pokemon.

i agree, and the most annoying part is now there are 2 many psycic type legendaries.
but then again, i don 't care much about legendaries, i only care about my EV trained pokemon. but i still concider mewtwo as one of the best legendaries.
from what i know is that giratina is in its origin form in the "torn world" a other dimension.
i don 't know if you can switch the form anytime you want like deoxys with the meteor rocks in d/p.
overpowerd or not, , still Ev trained will beat him for sure. never underastimate the power of the EV trained lol. but i really hate darkrai, now thats a pokemon thats really unfair in battle. but even for him i found a perfect quick way to take him out with my basic EV team.

08-16-2008, 03:06 PM
I dislike legendaries in general, the majority of them are ubers and you guessed it, I'm a competitive player... Well at least I used to be until I got into SSBB. I don't mind Pokemon like Celebi, Jirachi and a couple of others that have a base stat of 600 (Darkrai and Mew etc are Uber though) but yeah. I don't think I'll be giving much about the Flying Giratina, he's probably just going to be overpowered or something.
By the way, all freshly caught legendaries can be EV'd easily, you can check there IVs too but hell I don't need my Uber Pokemunz to be THAT powerful (As if I wanted a Dark Type Hidden Power Giratina).

Tell you what legendary pokemon Im slightly dissapointed with. Arceus. Mines got a jolly nature, lvl 60 - 69, and sure his lvls are very even but not one of his lvls have even passed the 200 mark. Its annoying.
My only EV'd pokemon, or at least I think he is, is a lvl 95 Lugia with about 415 sp. defense. Shiny too =D
Serebii WiFi chat FTW!
I stopped playing after Gold/Silver, so I have no clue about anything with the newer games.

same here, i Like the original 150 and the ones from Jhoto. I still watch the show though, and i like a lot of the pokemon I see there. Still you can't get any better than Pikachu, bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle pidgyoto and butterfree (the ones ash catches in the very begining of the very first season). NEVER!
Oh, how I used to love the Pokemon Series. Used to watch it everyday at 9:30 am on Kids WB. Such good times. But then either I kind of grew tired of it, or it just got annoying.
As for the games, I still like them. Good to play every now and then, granted it's basically the same story every time with the whole go to Gym Leaders and get badges thing. But still good.

I have a small collection of pokemon games and I play it. They're fun to play but after you beat them, there's not much to do which is a downside, especially since the games don't have a second save file so it might just be a way to buy another.
But I'm more of a Zelda fan but Pokemon's still cool.

Me and my friends used to so hooked on it. Pokemon was my life. I loved the show, collected the cards, and played the games 24/7. I just sold all my cards after having them for like 8 years. Since I don't see the forms anywhere on here, I guess I'll put them on here. They're right near the middle of the page. My opinion:
This, personally doesn't really interest me too much. I mean, look at those forms, seriously. What do we have? A Refrigerator, a washing machine, a fan, a mower, and a toaster. That's nice. Now where are the real designs? I kind of lost interest with Pokemon in Diamond and Pearl, they just weren't that great to me. This one seems just about the same, from what I can see, unless this "Torn World" can change my mind.

I don't like the mower, toaster, refigerator idea either, but I'm trying to look past that. The Torn World looks extremely interesting (new places are always welcome), and the "new plot" that these two new characters are supposed to bring look like it holds promise as well. And of course, another Pokemon game is always welcome in my book, even if it's horrible.

Very true, but the thing is, people find that so addictive. And even though gamers who have gone through the old and new games, and have gotten tired of them, they are replaced by the new young gamers who haven't experienced it yet.
I'm considering getting Platinum when it comes out. Everyone is making a huge fuss about it, my brother still pesters me for a Pokemon game, and I figure I might as well start with that one. Maybe they actually did something besides add another 100 lame Pokemon that I will never remember with the game.

I'm quite the pokemon fan. Im sure I have well over 400 pokemon cards and a bunch of other thigns (like a bunch of figures stuff from pre orders games etc). I also own one of my favoite gaming "collectables" if you could say, a sealed version of pokemon red. Also between me and my sister we own every pokemon game except yellow I believe, and nearley a full pokedex.
As to what Bluelink was saying (quote in post above mine) I agree that pokemon is practically the same thing, but they like make I guess "different" versions for every generation. Like my cousin (he is about 7 or 8) is all into the DS pokemons, and could name veryone and their type off by heart, where I only know the original 150 really and some from the Ruby/Sapphire versions.

Im not really a big fan of it. I just dont understand it I guess. I do remember playing one of the games on N64 a long time ago. That was Pokemon snap. I don't really consider that to be a mainstream Pokemon game.
I think of the Pokemon games as the ones where you have to collect 8 gym badges (16 of it's G/S/C) and then go kick the elite four's butt.

I like pokemon, well I did sell pearl and diamond and PH to get TP a few days ago, but sure the first few games you play are fun, but after awhile you'll realize, that it'll get boring after awhile. For some reason people are always racing to get new pokemon games, and I simply don't know why, maybe they just don't understand about the storyline being the same, thus making it very boring.this is my opinion, dont listen to it if ya don't want to, got it^^.

Ever since I was 4 years old I've been playing Pokemon. My older brother and I both collected the cards but his were far superior to mine. He had a bunch of rare laminated hologram ones while I had... less than that. We both had a red Pokemon book where you could put all of your cards in them, like a photo album. I was so amazed with his cards that I actually took his book once and made a soup out of them. I tossed a bunch of 'em into my stew and felt all proud of myself. When my brother caught me, I don't think he's ever been so furious.
We also played them on our Gameboy Colors. I had Pokemon Silver, and I think his was Pokemon Gold. I like the Pokemon series, though it does seem to be recycling the same concept for each game, but I still enjoy playing it.

We also played them on our Gameboy Colors. I had Pokemon Silver, and I think his was Pokemon Gold. I like the Pokemon series, though it does seem to be recycling the same concept for each game, but I still enjoy playing it.
Wow, this sounds unbelieveable, but that's exactly the same with my two older brothers!
But they hate Pokemon now. :/
Anyway, I've been playing since 4 too, I own too many of the video games and I've had too many level 100s, I find it quite easy, and I love training my Pokemon and catching shinies.
A good thing is, most of my friends like Pokemon, and they have some of the games I have.
I've been playing since Pokemon Blue and Red, all the way to right now, with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2.
I've spent endless hours on my GBA and DS training my pokemon all day.
Pokemon is equally my first favourite thing with The Legend of Zelda, because the first games I played were those, and I still do today.
You wouldn't want me to list my games, your eyes will explode and steam will come out of your ears in jealousy, I will always like the Pokemon series, just as much as I do with LoZ, sorry about all of that.

The pokémon series is condemned to die, imo...
If they don't do something really inovative and different...
Here is what I think of the main games:

^ That's almost perfect. Crystal is by far the best yet, and I didn't like Emerald at all, but I thought Sapphire was okay. Never as good a Pearl or Yellow, but I would've put it with Emerald and left Ruby all by itself.

in my opinion, the third generaion was a total flop! They didn't innovate, they took out the day/night features, and most pokémon designs were crappy

Not to mention how small it was compared to the 2nd gen. One thing that really annoyed me about Sapphire is that it was so hard to carch a Pikachu. He's the symbol of the franchise for crying out loud, let me catch him without walking through a park for hours on end.

Oh, I used to really like Pokemon. I still do, but not quite so much anymore. I've played at least one version of every generation, but still, my favorite had to have been Crystal. I don't know how it compares to Gold/Silver, because I never played either of those, but Crystal was awesome. The night/day feature was cool, all of the pokemon were extremely original, and they all rocked, you could visit the old region in Red/Blue/Yellow. It was just awesome. I might have to buy Crystal again, just because it was so cool.
Still, the pokemon series will never be as good as others (especially Zelda, lol).

I've played Mystery Dungeon for the DS, and I was pleasantly surprised. The gameplay is a little hard to get use to, but it gets really fun after you get the hang of it. Believe it or not, it tells a nice story throughout the entire game as well.

I've only played them when my nephew had them, and I didn't like them much. The pokemon ranger was terrible, in my opinion, and mystery dungeon was just ok. The only pokemon games I've ever been able to get into are the "real" ones, on the handhelds.

Has anyone played the Pokemon pinball games? I have the original for GBC and I recently became obsessed with it again. My highest score is 63,308,878,300 on the red course. I got it about 5 years ago and I can't beat it!

I think that they are alright, I still prefer the orginals to any of the newer ones, The only thing I like more with Diamond than Yellow/Blue/Red is Infernape looks a hell of a lot cooler than Charizard. I also liked Gold for the 16 gym badge thing

Given that I've just picked up Platinum, I think it's fair to revive this thread.
Now, I started with Red/Blue all the way back in '98. Actually, prior to its arrival in the States I read an article in Nintendo Power about Pokemon as a craze in Japan that was coming to our shores...it seemed obscure, and I wondered whether it could really take hold, but the way NP was describing it it was inevitable that it would.
Over ten years later, it's obvious they were right. Even though I started with Red/Blue, Diamond/Pearl has been my favorite generation thus far. I'm about 3 hours in, and thus far it's not very different from Diamond...though I do like the sleek new Poketch, and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes, however minimal.
Since I always start with a Turtwig (grass types are my favorite), I've decided to start with a Piplup instead. What does bother me about the DP generation is that both grass and fire Pokemon are hard to come by and there's an overabundance of water Pokemon...so I was hesitant to train Piplup. So far, even though he's only level ten, I haven't really had time to regret my decision. I'm training a Bulbasaur in Leaf Green alongside my file in Platinum, so hopefully I can fill up my Pokedex quickly. I do intend to build up a kind of ultimate team and place it in my Platinum file. :3

Are we gonna talk competitive here? Scizor with Bullet Punch is freaking awesome, and I'm pissed off that Salamence has Outrage, only for Dragonite's sake.
Can't wait for Platinum in Oz.
Also, a few other comments about peoples comments:
@Hanyou: When it comes to what is "better" at battling, it goes Infernape, Empoleon and Torterra, although all of the starters are good this time around.
@A few people: The big thing about RSE was the natures, capped EV system and new IV system, people don't really understand that.
I rant on when it comes to Pokemon, I love the competitive aspect of it.
The original generation will always be my favourite. The Pokemon were great, and the region was less of a chore the explore. Dispite my intinal worries, I loved Ruby, sure its Pokemon sucked, but it was great fun, really reminded me of Red (Never played Gold/Silver or Crystal). I don't mind D/P, but its 3D graphics took me a while to get used to, and the number of legendaries was just getting out of hand.

Electivire (have)
Ninjask (have)
Gengar (have)
Blissey
Dusknoir
Rampardos (have)
Right now I just have 2 old EV trained pokes to take the places of Blissey and Dusknoir (Ambipom and Alakazam). I really need to get those walls in xD.

I'll make a few comments:
Lead with the Ninjask, never lead with Vire, it ruins the only thing it has on other physical sweepers. A lot of people really hate Vire, thinking it is overated, but I don't think so. The Rampardos will do will with the BP from Ninjask. I would suggest removing Dusknoir for another physical wall, or removing Gengar for another special sweeper, the type synergy isn't great on this team overall. Skarmory is pretty good, and pretty easy to use as well.
A lot of people thought that GSC was the best, which makes the fact that there is almost certainly going to be a GS remake good.
I've always meant to get a copy of Gold, but i've heard there's problems with saving.

yeah its weird, but the fact i got to battle Shnappy doesn't mean there is not problems with my conection. The error code i was getting with Ky and Bomby was something about that one persons's firewall or other security program was blocking it. well i disabled my firewall and don't have other secuity programs.
So the cause would be, or the other person had its firewall on, or the server is blocking it.
but smitie, i had a different error code with you, and the strange thing is, i could not find what the error code meant.

Hmm, maybe I'll start a Pokemon chat just for this occasion :p
Anyway, I still haven't even made it through Diamond and all you people want to battle me :(. Call me crazy, because everyone else has, but I love my Eeveelutions :). They are adorable, and I don't care if you think they suck. I pwned Mases with my team, and half of them had barely any training.
I battle Ky as well, though I didn't intend to. He cheated and used a Giratina (I think that's what it was called at least) and evolutions from Gen 1 pokemon (Electivire, Magmortar, Rhyperior) as well as a Vaporeon, and I don't remember what his sixth was. I am proud to say that I at least held my ground when he should have mopped the floor with me though. I still find it amusing that my Umbreon was faster than your Vaporeon :).

Eveelutions can make an awesome gimmick team, just make sure that it is a BP team. Get Speed passed so that Baton Pass is like switching, and then stat up and pass a lot, sweeping when given the oppurtunity. And of course, Umbreon with Mean Look Baton Pass is amazingly awesome tactic, especially if you aren't up against "pros", it can get you an instant win.
It seems as though people might actually use me (I think that I'm the only competitive battler on this forum) to get the upper hand on some people. Make a "Team Help" thread, so that people can ask for advice, and yet again, not be total ****s about knowing a bit more than someone else (it happens a lot).
Umbreon and Vaporeon actually have the same Base Speed, so it all comes down to EVs, IVs and nature what the stat will be. The thing about the Eeveelutions is that they all have at least one great stat, one very good stat, and one good stat.
It's painful to see someone use Giratina outside of Ubers and not use an Entry Hazards based stall team. Entry Hazards are Spikes, Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes, these can all get taken away by Rapid Spin, but it doesn't effect Ghosts (known as SpinBlockers). Tinariffic is the best SpinBlocker around, so it is strange to see that Entry Hazards weren't used a lot.

You can breed Metagross with Ditto, that can get you better nature.
As for BP, it is good, and can work on many sets (kinda pointless on Agiligross thoug), make sure that you still include Meteor Mash and Earthquake though, they are necessities on every set, except for Specs sets and the occasional lead that can have Bullet Punch on one of those slots.
When it comes to what moves you use, you have to make sure that they have a point, for example, even though it is physical with STAB, Zen Headbutt actually has little use on a Metagross.
Which moveset you use depends on what you give it, but also item, Choice Band Gross can be quite effective, and would work well with BP.

i can breed you an adamant bellum since i have so many ditto's with different natures to transfer.
But since i can not connect with you, we need to find a person in between.
I can give one to shnappy and shnappy can trade it with you if shnappy is willing to do it.
Also i´m planning to EV train my own metagross and also Ev train a blaziken.
Still i´m not sure what moveset i want to give my blaziken, but i will breed night slash on it as an egg move.

For the best Blaziken Movesets, go http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/blaziken , smogon is the best competitive site, but I would suggest:
Blaziken@Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Sky Uppercut / Superpower
Flare Blitz
Stone Edge
Thunderpunch / Earthquake
Night Slash doesn't offer that much coverage. Scarf Blaziken is the most effective, due to bad speed stat when sweeping is concerned and the easiest to pull off is phyical. I would suggest Superpower > Sky Uppercut, it's more reliable for that first hit, and you will usually be switching anyway. Flare Blitz for Fire STAB, Stone Edge for coverage (especially Gyarados and Salamence). T-punch hits bulky waters where EQ hits fires, especially Infernape.
As for PBR, I think that it does use Platinum, but it certainly doesn't show Giratina-O or Skymin, it would just show Tina or Land Shaymin but have the stats of the other one, this is because we would have had the data of sprites of Skymin and Tina-O early (due to hacking) if it was put in PBR.

i tried to EV train a blaziken...and to be honest i'm not really satisfied with the stats.
The blaziken i trained was adamant.
moveset:
blaze kick
sky uppercut
stone edge
night slash
i am pretty critical when it comes to stats when i EV train.
I mostly stop ev training at lvl 50. for me the priority is that its main stats should at least be close to 170 and have a reasonble second ev trained close to like 125. my opinion can sometimes change if the main stat is higher then expected, then i won't pay much attention to the secondary stat.
So basicly first i need to really pay attention to the pokemon's base stats and then try to decide which stats i should ev train.
currently i am trying to make a new team. my main team is pretty balanced when it comes to type, natures and stats. I want to make this team based on power only.
For now i trained EV trained a salamance and metagross for this team, and their stats are amazing. Metagross has 203 attack on level 50 which is amazing and salamance has an attack of 189. but since Metagross base stat is pretty low on speed, i tried to ev trained def and sp def equally as their secondary stats. with salamance it secondary stat is speed which is 140.
these 2 make my other ev trained pokemon look weak. :P
as for the other 4 i want to train is:
Gyrados
Magmotar
Electrivire
Togekiss
Only problem is, i recieved magmotar and electrivire on lvl 50 on PBR. i ussualy prefer to EV train starting from level one. their stats on level 50 are pretty low, but i hope for the best after they are EV trained.

First I'll say that you should probably look more closely into the inner details of EV training and how stats are made, looking at base stats as well. Notice that when it comes to EV training you can give 252 into 2 stats (boosting them by the same amount before nature boosts) and an extra 6 into another stat (which boosts the stat only by one point at level 100). If you want to get the stat as high as possible you can IV breed, but even I find that tedious, and don't do it all that often. But IVs do make a difference, Adamant Blaziken with 252 Atk EVs and a perfect IV makes 189 Atk at Lvl. 50, but with a 0 IV it only reaches 172.
As for the moveset, I would certainly suggest Choice Scarf, give it Flare Blitz over Blaze Kick, Super Power or Brick Break over Sky Uppercut, and give it Thunderpunch or Earthquake over Night Slash. Choice Scarf lets Blaziken have a Speed stat that can be usable when it comes to sweeping.
So basicly first i need to really pay attention to the pokemon's base stats and then try to decide which stats i should ev train.
currently i am trying to make a new team. my main team is pretty balanced when it comes to type, natures and stats. I want to make this team based on power only.
Often you need to understand what the Pokemon needs to do, and how the EVs will help it. An example is that Lucario has a higher base SAtk than Atk, but is more commonly considered a superior physical sweeper, due to movepool, and especially the ability to sweep with Swords Dance.
To make a balanced team, you also need to consider roles, if you find yourself without a reliable physical wall/tank, you need one. To be more complicated, if you have over 2 Pokemon who are weak to Stealth Rock, you need a Rapid Spinner.
When it comes to offensive teams, there are a few other more complicated strategies that need to be understood. The first very useful thing is a suicide lead, who can Taunt any set up leads, and set up Stealth Rock itself, which greatly supports a sweeping team, I suggest Aerodactyl.
Something else that you will need is a wall breaker, offensive teams teams can't work if they don't have something to deal with special walls (most importantly Blissey), and physical walls at the same time.
Also, typing is very important, offensive teams are completely reliant on prediction, and you need to make sure that your team can support itself.
The attack IV of that Metagross is very good, nearly perfect, comparably, the Salamence actually has the same base Atk, so you can see where the IVs make a difference. Although the speed on Mence could be better, you can live with it. What movesets are you considering, from the EV spread the Salamence sounds like it should be a Dragon Dance Mence, and the Metagross can't be an AgiliGross (because Speed is needed).
these 2 make my other ev trained pokemon look weak. :P
as for the other 4 i want to train is:
Gyrados
Magmotar
Electrivire
Togekiss
I would go over your typing, the Pokemon aren't bad, but you need to make your team synergise (which Mence and Gross do pretty well). It's not bad, I can tell that you have made an effort to put in Ground immunities, but to show you some issues, 4 Pokemon are weak to Rock, with one resistance. 3 are weak to Ground, which is commonly paired with Rock. All of your team dies to Quake-Edge.
Only problem is, i recieved magmotar and electrivire on lvl 50 on PBR. i ussualy prefer to EV train starting from level one. their stats on level 50 are pretty low, but i hope for the best after they are EV trained.
There is a glitch that helps you there (it doesn't work for Lvl. 100s). If you can get your EVs done before you level, you put them in your box and take them out again and the EVs are counted as though they were done at Lvl. 49 and you leveled up. This is because they don't store the Pokemon's stats when you Deposit, just the details to be put into the stat making calculation, so when you take them out, the EVs are counted into the stat calculation.
I might post one of my teams soon, I'll do one that isn't great (it has issues), but it does work.

Back in the day i was a fan (not saying i still am not) and i had most of the games and i loved them. Me and friends would lvl through the games then train up our pokemon to high lvls and link up and battle. Some of my favorite titles were yellow, silver, gold, crystal, emerald, firered, and i really think Pokemon diamond was a great improvement and a very interesting game.

For me I can't wait for the Gold/Silver remake. And I am still waiting for Platinum, I don't even have a release date when the US has had it for weeks.
I said that I would post my team, so here it is (PM me for any questions on jargon etc):
Machamp@Choice Scarf
Trait: No Guard
Nature: Adamant (+Atk -SAtk) [Jolly (+Spd -SAtk) probably works better if you want to make your own, but this is OK too]
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
~ Dynamic Punch
~ Stone Edge
~ Ice Punch
~ Earthquake
Earthquake will be replaced with Thunderpunch as soon as Platinum comes out, to (unreliably) help with this teams biggest nuisance, Gyarados. This works as a great lead, that is usually brought back late game. Obviously the main attraction is 100% accurate Dynamic Punch. It has a good speed IV but quite a bad attack IV, annoyingly.
Salamence@Choice Specs
Nature: Modest (+SAtk -Atk)
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
~ Draco Meteor
~ Dragon Pulse
~ Flamethrower
~ Hydro Pump
Since Mence got Outrage, people have not been expecting SpecsMence, but it's as awesome as ever. Draco Meteor has such great raw power. It has a great SAtk IV but sadly a poor Spd IV, it's not that bad as it is often hitting things on the switch, and instantly switching out.
Empoleon@Leftovers
Nature: Calm (+SDef -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Spd / 252 SDef
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Grass Knot
~ Stealth Rock
It's impossible to find a Special Wall as good as Blissey, but Empoleon is still very good and at sacrifices reliable recovery for more power. It is also a great Stealth Rock set up.
Donphan@Leftovers
Nature: Impish (+Def -SAtk)
~ Rapid Spin
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Shard
~ Stealth Rock
It would actually work better with Knock Off over Stealth Rock, as I already have SR setup on this team, but I could breed SR, and it's a hard TM to get, so I kept it there so it can be the sole SR setup on another team. Rapid Spin is very useful, and needed if I want to keep Salamence switching. EQ for STAB and general power, Ice Shard helps against the large amount of Ice weak sweepers.
Dusknoir@Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed (+Def -Spd)
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Atk / 128 SDef
~ Shadow Sneak
~ Earthquake
~ Will-o-Wisp
~ Pain Split
This is by no means the standard EV spread and nature, I'd suggest smogon if you want to make your own Dusknoir. This is to give the team SpinBlocking and also goes well type wise. Shadow Sneak is good STAB and priority, WoW cripples physical sweepers, EQ supports it by hitting those immune Fire types, especially acting as Heatran bait. Pain Split is for recovery. I am most likely going to change this with a Rotom Appliance once Platinum comes out, which does a similar job, many people consider it better at it, and it fits in much better with the team.
Weavile@Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly (+Spd -SAtk)
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
~ Ice Punch
~ Night Slash
~ Brick Break
~ Pursuit
A nice revenge killer, who gets me out of many tough spots. Ice Punch and Night Slash have good STAB and hit many useful Pokemon well. Brick Break is for coverage, and Pursuit hits many running enemies. It has an average Atk IV but an amazing Spd IV.
I hope that I showed some of you some of the basics in team making, this is not a perfect team but it's OK (gigantic Gyarados problem though). Sorry for it being a bit long, I am mainly trying to make some people understand some things.

so after all this time i could not resist and still bought pokemon platinum.
But yeah my biggest issue was my EV trained ones on diamond. I need to transfer those to platinum with the help of sombody that i can thrust. Too bad i don 't know a lot of people who has a DS to borrow, that would make things so much easier. :(
And the pokemon ranch is also not helping me.
I wanted to download it but, later i found out that you can only transfer back pokemon from the same ID. Not cool at all!!!
but thats a worry for later after i finished platinum. For now i like the platinum version with the improvements.

Can you get an egg if you breed a ditto with a male pokemon or will you only get an egg if it's female?

Can you get an egg if you breed a ditto with a male pokemon or will you only get an egg if it's female?
Ditto doesn't have a gender, so it'll always transform into the opposite gender of the pokemon you put in the daycare with. If you put a male with it, it'll transform into a female. If you put a female with it, it'll transform into a male. On top of that, it'll also have the same exact move set of the pokemon you put it with when it transforms, so the offspring will have the same moves as well. Very handy if you ask me. :)

yes what he said and ditto's can be really handy especialy if you have the good natures.
if you give an everstone to the female then its 50% chance that the nature of the female will be inherit to the breed pokemon. that same goes for ditto becaue it will automaticly will be the opposite gender.
so with breeding, the breeded pokemon will always take the form of the female and the moves of the male. that way you can breed good egg moves to breeded pokemon.

Not to mention if you have any Dittos with 31 IVs in any stat you can breed them on. Also, you can't use a female Pokemon to Everstone breed if you are using a Ditto, the Ditto is the assumed female, that's the annoying part about Ditto breeding.

There have been WiFi events for DP, they're not always going to be there, check the Pokemon news sites (Serebii etc.) and they'll say whenever there is a WiFi event, then go on and get it.

i really don't care about the rotom forms.
Today i have beaten Platinum. Now to collect other items thati didn 't get in the game and cath the remaining legends. Then ask smitie is gonna help me to transfer my pokemon.
I wished shnappy could help me with that because i can also thrust him and my wifi works perfectly with him. But before that, still gotta EV train some pokes before i transfer them over.
What was nintendo thinking with Pokemon ranch, its stupid that you can only transfer back pokes to your own ID. At least come up with some other way to tranfer pokes. Not cool.
At leat in the last gen the pokemon box wasn 't like that if i'm correct. And you had Pokemon Colloseum and XD.

Well the only thing bad about the Rotom forms is that they are not usable over WiFi, but over Shoddy they have proven how good they are. They are the best spinblockers the game has to offer, making them staples in stall. The Rotom Forms now are probably the best Ghosts in the game.
As for Ranch, it was a huge step up from box, the fact that you need the same ID is the only real fault I see.

Pokémon Box was splendid(I bought the disc for 1 euro:D)
I use it a lot, because you can transfer whole boxes between carts:)
It only allows you to transfer other IDed Pokémon if you have beaten the E4 and have more than 100 pokémon registered.
Still, it's better than ranch.
Since I have no friend here that also has a DS, and my wi-fi is still down, I am going to buy a cheap, used DS Phat at the end of the month.
I also need it for my collection, and to play some multiplayer games with my sis, so, :)

I managed to get a Celebi on my dex due to an incredibly nice person, so I can get them off the GTS (don't have any at the moment, because of good trade offers), if I have a spare I should be able to trade it to you, or at least trade and trade back.

You should inform them that they are different, and explain the differences.
They said that they were going to give you something, they lied, they gave you something similar. It's quite illegal. I can't exactly help you, but they are certainly in the wrong on this one, and many people wouldn't give them a second chance to swap back...

I want to build a strong and competetive team and I have three favorite Pokémon, they are: Houndoom, Alakazam & Suicune. These three Pokémon I want them to be included in my team. My question is: What other Pokémon should I include in a team like this? (I´m talking about Pokémon from first, second and third generation since I don´t own any of the DS titles).

Very important that you mentioned that you are using 3rd Gen, makes a huge difference there. I'll suggest movesets, and go over possible team options, if you are planning to use any as a lead, that does make it slightly different, also, if you plan to use it against people, or only CPUs that makes a difference too. Finally, do you have access to Hidden Powers, I suggest a moveset for Houndoom that can be made much better with Hidden Powers if you can get them (that is, good type 70 Power).
Let's start with Suicune, because the moveset that I'm suggesting I love:
Suicune@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Spd
~ Surf
~ Rest
~ Sleep Talk
~ Calm Mind
Known as Crocune around the internet, this set can devour an unprepared opponent. Calm Mind up, and RestTalk when needed, Surf behind many CMs. There are other Suicune sets, this gets destroyed by some Waters (you can beat Swampy, and a few others just through CMing a lot), especially Vaporeon, who you cannot do anything against except for PP Stall with Pressure. I'd go here for other sets: http://www.smogon.com/rs/pokemon/suicune
Now onto Houndoom:
Houndoom@Leftovers / Lum Berry
Nature: Timid
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
~ Flamethrower
~ Crunch
~ Pursuit
~ Will-o-Wisp / Beat Up
Standard special sweeper. Flamethrower and Crunch for STAB, Houndoom is one of the best 3rd Gen Pursuit users, actually benefiting from it being special. It gets Gengars as they switch out, among other things.
Will-o-Wisp will cripple many of Houndooms switch ins, pretty much all of the big counters that aren't bulky waters (Salamence, Tyranitar etc.), however, Beat Up gives you a way to dent Blissey. For more sets go here: http://www.smogon.com/rs/pokemon/houndoom
Alakazam time:
Alakazam@Leftovers / Lum Berry
Nature: Timid
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
~ Calm Mind
~ Psychic
~ Fire Punch
~ Ice Punch / Thunder Punch / Recover
Simple Calm Mind set, set up and sweep. Recover lets you beat a few special sweepers, or an extra elemental punch for coverage (Thunder Punch probably being better for this team so far). For this team, ditching Fire Punch and getting a Faux Pas BoltBeam could work, as you have Fire from Houndoom. Also, going without Calm Mind can work somewhat. Other sets are here: http://www.smogon.com/rs/pokemon/alakazam
Now for team options. I won't go through everything right now, but I'll make a few comments about what your team needs to cover, at a glance. Waters screw you, Alakazam can revenge them, but against many getting the switch in won't be easy. So you need to deal with them there. Carrying a Fire weakness can actually help you, free switch ins for Houndoom, and even if it goes down Suicune is more than reliable. Also, what you have there is entirely special, the rest of your team, or at least 2/3 needs to be physical. You'd need a physical sweeper of some kind. This team does lack in bulk overall, you can't count on Suicune for everything, so something else is needed. SkarmBliss is always reliable. I'll see if I can help you some more later, comment here or PM me.

Great post with interesting tips and comments. Guess I´m too much of a newbie to grasp all of it but only by looking at your suggested movesets I´ve learned a lot. Since I haven´t experienced competetive battling against other people I have a lot to learn. My main focus has always been on finding powerful attacks for my Pokémon. I guess that´s not a great idea if you want to play against experienced players
I´m glad you introduced me to "Smogon", I´ve looked at the site and it has made me (re)consider if I really want Alakazam & Houndoom in my team (guess it depends on who I want to battle). It´s possible I´ll send you a PM when I´ve experimented some more. You seem to have great knowledge!
I actually have two questions right away:
Which are the best Physical Sweepers in the 3rd generation?
What makes the SkarmBliss combo that special?
(Guess the questions could be tricky to answer but it would be interesting to know :))

Smogon is truly great, you just have to look past them being up themselves, and they do have the best competitive knowledge around.
Question 1: I can't remember all of the best, but I can mention a few. The three big Dragon Dance users are all good, and reliable, Salamence (with Rock, Flying, Ground having perfect coverage), Tyranitar and Gyarados (the latter two often use Taunt, stopping Skarmory from being able to Whirlwind you. Metagross also gets a mention, power and easy switch ins make it quite good. I'll look up some more later.
SkarmBliss was a great combination in 3rd Gen because Blissey was (and still is) the best Special Wall in the game, not many special sweepers can beat it. Skarmory was the best physical wall at that point, not quite as amazing as Blissey, but still great. There are counters to it, Dugtrio and Magneton can trap you, and MixSalamences and MixBlazikens cause trouble, but SkarmBliss can be the main defensive base of most teams.

Modest can be quite good for Lugia, but it is mainly a Defensive Pokemon. The problem with Psycho Boost, especially when compared to other Ubers who can now use Draco Meteor, is that its coverage in the Ubers Metagame is quite poor. However, using a Choice Specs set can work, if you want to use Psycho Boost, the best that I can think of is:
Lugia@Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 6 Spd OR 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd OR 52 HP / 252 SAtk / 204 Spd
~ Psycho Boost
~ Thunder
~ Ice Beam
~ Trick
Main thing here is surprise factor, noone expects a Lugia to pack punch. Psycho Boost has power, Thunder and Ice Beam has great Ubers coverage (Thunder because of Kyogre being in about 50% of battles [seriously, that much]), and Trick to cripple something, hopefully Blissey or something similar.
Max SAtk is a given, but you can change how much you Speed you want over bulk, that really depends on your IV. What I suggest is checking the IV, if it is perfect go for 204, letting you outspeed all +Spd Nature base 90s (Groudon, Kyogre, Ho-oh etc.). If it is just terrible, focus on HP, but if you can get the jump on base 90s, put as much EVs as needed.

I like the pokemon games. they are really fun, especially for younger kids. Parents like them too because they are not violent. I am not a fan of everything that has been created after the games tho. I don't like the show, or the merchandise or the movies, or the card game. But the games are cool

Heh, the show has a whole heap of Pokemon gamers who just hate it. You can look up a few clips on YouTube to see why, try "finish it off with False Swipe".

yeah, i finished platinum but i still EV training giratina. To catch a good nature is pretty easy, its a matter of reseting.
But, i recently relayed pokemon XD gale of darkness. And OMG i got a modest lugia (atk down, sp atk up). And some of you know its got the exclusive move psyco boost. Really lucky since you can 't see the nature of shadow pokemon. and it automaticly saves if you finished the game.
Yeah, the Chancey I caught in XD was Bold nature, luckily, and getting Chansey's in 3rd gen games are VERY HARD, considering it's that or the safari zone, in which they're near impossible to catch. And the 3rd gen games are the only ones where you can get them seismic toss, which is a pretty essential move for competitive battling Blissey's.

Well Seismic Toss isn't essential for Bliss, it's so versatile, it doesn't need it. The most popular set is a complete pain to get (WishBliss) but it should be noted that it uses Toxic+Flamethrower to damage, but Clerics often go for Ice Beam instead, as it couples well with T-Wave, hitting those pesky Grounds.

A bit off topic here, but I want to mention that my main Pokemon forum, PE2K got a shoddy server, some people here might want to check it out, we're trying to get it to be more active.

I used to go on PE2K, but ever since Diamond and Pearl came out I've lost touch with the series, namely because they've randomly decided to throw away everything that made it great and create stupid Wi-Fi/DS gimmickry and build worlds with no coherent theme or reasonable geography, opting instead for "this place has this" and filling it with worthless time-wasters of activities. Sinnoh is crap, and I hope they don't ruin Johto the same way.
Not to mention, with the advancement of console technology, gamers are expecting more story nowadays, and RBY/GSC's "go fight gyms" doesn't cut it. Instead, they opt for boring teams who hunt the legendaries and have teams comprised of the same 5 pokémon over and over again. They need to go back and focus on making a compelling world with a diverse selection of pokémon to build your team from.
Another things about D/P- you have essentially no freedom in how you build your team. For the first two gyms or so, you will find absolutely nothing except the same ten or so banally useless pokémon. When you finally run into something new and exciting, whoops, your whole team is already working together right and you don't want to smoke it for a pokémon 10-15 levels behind. Frankly, because of this, replay value is all but destroyed in D/P.

I should note that 4th gen is (IMO) the most competitively sound. EV training takes <1 hour. There's a much better item selection (Specs and Scarf where great additions), and there is a huge variety of Pokemon, a lot of the new ones are very interesting, I would say Bronzong above all else, never has a support Pokemon been so versatile. Of course, I think that the competitive landscape was a bit too overcentralised before the Garchomp move.
Bolded Bit: WiFi is awesome with Pokemon! I think that it would have to be the best game suited for WiFi, mainly because lag doesn't matter, it's turn based. A good Standard Battle over WiFi for me is exhilarating, I really want to do one with someone here sometime. Not to mention IV battles, which Nintendo + Game Freak obviously made possible for us competitive battlers, they were very kind to us this gen, all that needs to happen is a Spin Tutor for HG/SS.
I think that the best part of the game is at its best yet.

Anyways, just to warn all European and American members that the Darkrai Event is up on the wi-fi until the 13th of september

Is this the Darkrai event for Pokemon Platinum? If so that is annoying
Also, I agree, Wi-fi is the greatest thing to happen to pokemon ever since GSC. It gives a reason to EV train a team for everyone with Wireless. Even if you miss a local tourney you can still battle quite a lot, Unlike RSE.

Yeah, for Platinum (I already have a Naive one, so before I catch mine I need to think of what moveset I want).
I love the WiFi battling, it's like Shoddy/Netbattle, but for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on I find it to be 100x more fun.

Yeah, the good stuff in the games (after you've raised and EV'd and stuff) is definitely one of the greatest yet, but unfortunately getting there is really a long, frustrating chore given the bland and contrived environments and low variety of pokémon. I just use Shoddy if I want to battle competitively.

Long and frustrating? It's quite short actually. The only part that took a long time for me was soft resetting for legends. I don't completely get where you're coming from here. And the game developers may not have had a large variety in Pokemon that you see (which we never, ever had), but they made the trainer Pokemon have more variety than ever, because you have to see all Pokemon before getting the national dex.

Since there is a thread about the Pokémon series I guess I could make this post.
Guess I could join a Pokémon Forum but since this thread exists... :)
For other Pokemon to add, think of the weaknesses. I'm making the assuption you're playing FireRed or LeafGreen. You should add a ground pokemon like a Dugtrio or Sandslash. If suicune is hit by an electric type, you can use the ground pokemon against it. Also, an electric pokemon like Ampharos or Raichu should be added in case the ground pokemon is hit by a water-type attack. In case the Pokemon is something like a swampert or Quagsire, a grass type is a good type to add. Also, you should teach your suicune an ice-type move in case your encounter a dragon-type pokemon and your Alakazam shadow ball in case you come across a ghost-type.

Well, not exactly like that. Yeah, you should be covering weaknesses, but you've got to look at the whole Pokemon's weaknesses and see if they cover it. For example, Dugrtio and Sandslash aren't exactly countering what Suicune really fears. Most of Suicune's big counters are waters. And even the common electric ones like Zapdos and Raikou aren't too afraid of Dugtrio and Sandslash. Dugtrio needs a reliable switch in, but it will often use Substitute, and Zapdos is immune to EQ, and it's also immune to Arena Trap, Dugtrio's greatest asset. So something like Celebi actually suits that role much better, getting most of the bulky waters out of the way, and resists electric. See what I'm getting at, you need to look at the weaknesses while also looking at the whole Pokemon.
Of course you usually will have an Earthquake user, but more often than not that will be for a main form of physical offense (Tyranitar, Gyarados, Salamence, Metagross, Aerodactyl, all OU, all use EQ, all physical sweepers).
EDIT: Woot! 500th post!

I like Pokemon a lot! Well, I used to like it more than I do now... Idk why, but I have lost interest. I know everything about the Blue, Red and Yellow version. I also own Gold and Silver. But money problems could not get me the last Pokemon games... -.-
I spent so much on my Blue Version and on Pokemon Stadium 2. More than 500 hours for Blue (I beat it more than 20 times) and more than 150 hours on Pokemon Stadium. :) I was the ultimate Pokemon trainer at that time and I had the most powerful team ever... Blastoise, Persian, Victreebel, Magneton, Magmar and Articuno. Yep. That was MY team!!! :D
Maybe I should play a Pokemon game again soon...

Four words, Heart Gold, Soul Silver. Heaps of people are going back to Pokemon for that game. Nice way to go the competitive part of it (well, I'd advise half competitive, full competitive often removes the fun part and makes it a "win! win! win" game), something done very well in Pokemon to keep the older audience happy.

How did I not see this thread? HOW? I demand an answer in the form of a 50-page essay!
I love Pokemon. I'm now trying to play SoulSilver in the style most kids would play the old games back then: using Pokemon in complete disregard to type advantages other than the obvious Fire, Grass, and Water. My team is as follows:
Arbok: Toxic, Sludge Bomb, Iron Tail, Crunch
Pinsir: Earthquake, Strength, X-Scissor, Revenge
Heracross: Rock Smash, Counter, Shadow Claw, Earthquake
Farfetch'D : U-Turn, Air Cutter, Fly, and Aerial Ace
Slowking: Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Trick Room, and Surf
Hypno: Psychic, Psybeam, Shadow Ball, and Headbutt
...Yeah, I'd be the laughing stock of Smogon if I was there.
I'm also trying to "catch'em all" in Pokemon Silver in an effort to train a LV 100 team so I could fight some guy who is apparently a whiz with his copy.
My Silver team is ambiguous, but the basic structure is in my trainer card. Mr. Mime is interchangeable with Alakazam, and Lanturn is also probably going to swap with Quagsire or Tentacruel temporarily. Tyrranitar MAY replace Houndoom, because I've found that my Houndoom is not very stable and tend to faint easily.

My Fave PKMN Type: Dragon

Bumping some life back into this thread.
And yet again I got into the (what i like to call it) pokemon addiction phase.
Havn't touched pokemon for a long time, i seriously tought for a moment I grew tired of it. Guess i was wrong.
And what is to blame? Thats right, the wi-fi event of the three shiny legendaries of johto which gives you Zoroark in the upcoming Black & White.
And now i'm waiting for suicune. And since i was EV training these sweet legendaries, I also EV trained the "pichu event".
Then it became worse, because i had to urge to start over a game. So i popped the GC game XD gale of darkness. Why this one you ask? Because I want an EV trained Togekiss. In XD there is this special togepi that has the move Tri Attack. And if u combine that with its ability "serene grace" it gets double effect, which means 40% chance of burn/poison/freeze. So its possible to soft reset this after I get the right nature (aiming for modest or timid) BUT...its gonna be a pain. I have to save the game before i obtain the togepi, then "open its so called heart" which is going to take some time, AND i have to get a little lucky with soft resetting because, not only of its nature but to get the right ability because, togepi has 2 abilities (senere grace & hustle).
But it doesn't end there. No No No! Since this baby gets a National Ribbon, i tought "lemme have a pokemon with a lot of ribbons". So this Togekiss will become Xtra special. I'm aiming to get the "Earth Ribbon" which you get in XD or colloseum clearing the MT.Battle with a 100 win streak. Then earn some ribbons in Emerald. Finally the ribbons of Platinum. Then it will become more in Black and White.
Talk about obsession...but at least i will not be bored for a while.

Well now that Black and White is coming out in 12 days I find myself playing Pokemon more. I managed to get the first two Shiny legendaries over on HG SS and I will have all three when the third one will be released over on wifi tomorrow even though you only need one to get Zoroark. Well I can't get the In Game Incounter Event Zorua since I was unable to get the event Celebi since I'm nowhere near a Gamestop anymore just wished they did it over on wifi but oh well. Searching on the internet to see if someone is willing to trade me their Celebi but I came across so many but people beat me to it.

Something good and something bad happened to me with pokemon.
The good thing is, I got the event celebi with a modest nature (-Atk / +Sp.Atck). Talk about luck, since it was being given away with a random nature. Smitie deserves my graditude, since she was the one who told me about this event in Holland.
The bad new is, after my tri attack togepi evolved into togekiss, it suddenly had the ability hustle. It was frustrating because i already collected the ribbons in Emerald and XD. Especialy earth ribbon, where you have to do a 100 win streak at MT.Battle. So i threw the togekiss away. Oh well...i can't have it all right? I guess i will have to find a other pokemon in XD to put on the ribbon collection.
