Red V Blue V Green Tunic

Is there a difference in the tunics, other than the obvious uses?

I mean I was in the Water Temple and had on my blue tunic and was on some spikes, the damage was rapid as usual. While getting off my iron boots I switched to the red tunic by mistake, but sure enough while i was still on the spikes, they didn't hurt me. It took a second and i did get damage, but ever like 10 seconds.

So if the red takes less damage on spikes, are there other powers to the tunics? Is one faster?:clap:

but would the green tunic have an advantage?
test the spike trick and see if it worked for you

What you found was most likely a glitch. It seems interesting, though. I'll check this out later. ^^

I don't think there was a difference in them outside of their obvious areas of specialty. Often times, after completing the Water Temple, I just continued to play with the Zora/Blue Tunic for the rest of the game. I think simply for the reason that there was no reason to change it.

The Zora Armor in Twilight Princess worked differently in that you were more vulnerable to Fire and Ice attacks when wearing it. However, I don't think such an effect appeared in Ocarina of Time.

I know the red one helps you not get hurt as soon when it comes to lava, or hot environment, but aside that, I think they'd hint to it...

if one might be weaker, maybe one is stronger. maybe its just a glitch, but if the red one takes less damage on spike, maybe the green one makes you run faster. otherwise why would anyone change back into the green once theyve gotten a red or blue tunic :)
