Everyone at my school is getting new and better phones lately...If anyone has a new or cool phone...Or any phone...Post a picture of it if you would like!!
Mine's a Sony Ericsson: I've had it for almost two years now! My brother has an iPhone which I am on all the time. I think iPhones are awesome!

We dont have many phones but both my mother and father have iPhones. My family has trusted Apple for years ^^ We dont have a home phone so I think the 2 iPhones are the only ones we have. I dont think I am old enough to have my own phone yet.

I've got this piece of crap LG Flare that I use for emergencies and such. Which means, I never use it.

Every single cellular phone I've ever owned has been broken.
I am so terribly clumsy, that I've destroyed flip phones and your regular chunky plastic cell phone. I currently have a Pantech, which, you guessed it! I've already broken it. Here is a picture of my current cell phone, the non-damaged version:
http://www.slipperybrick.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/pantech-c150.jpg
I'm basically ditching a cell phone for a while, until I can actually come across one that my twisted clumsy self will not manage to destroy. I'd love a Blackberry like my sister owns, but my job doesn't nearly pay good enough to own that cool of a cell phone.

I only have my moms cell phone (lol) but my sister got a Blackberry Storm for her birthday and from what Ive heard its pretty cool. Seeming she made 600+ text last month. (rofl) Actaully the first one died yesterday, and she got another one. I guess since they are new they havent worked out all of the bugs. Me on the other hand, just want a plain old phone nothing fancy :P

I accidently dropped my mothers iPhone and broke it >< Im so clumsy myself Im not allowed to touch anything that isn't mine. My father eye balls me when I carry my Macbook around the house. He always says... Dont drop that Melie!
That is a nice phone though Lenora ^^ My parents will never buy me a phone I bet because I would break it to.. I think ><

This is my current phone (I really like the orange).

Eventhough it's a walkman phone, I don't have a single music file on it. I use it mostly to call my parents or friends. My current ringtone is the same as Phoenix Wrights ringtone ^^. Everyone in my family has a cell phone and we also have a regular phone.
I had an awesome mobile for 3 years, and then I got a new one. There was nothing wrong with the other one, but my parents really thought I should get this new one.
My phone is like the one on the right.

I'm not the biggest fan of mobile phones, and would much rather use the home phone if I can help it.

Here is a picture of the phones my parents have. What is nice about the iphone for me is the touch screen. It could flip closed or something... but I dont think it would have that Apple feel in your hands.
My parents said they would get me a iPod Touch since it is so much like a iPhone and because my iPod classic is something my friend wants.

Sadly I have no cell phone. I get one at me 8th grade graduation. My mom and sister have Cincinnati bell service (I HATE it!). My dad has verizon and the Blackberry world edition. I am really hoping that my family switches over to verizon so I can get a Glyde or a Voyager.
Glyde:

Voyager:

Man you people are lucky with your fancy phones.Well same thing that Amelie said applies for me, I'm not so sure that I'm old enough for a phone, plus I'm always buying games at Gamestop , so I'd never really have the money to pay for the phone anyway although my parents really have regular phones, I dont know wht to call them except phones.

I have a cheap little Trac phone that I barely use and only have so family and my jobs can contact me. Otherwise, I'd rather not have one at all.

I've got a Tracfone as well. Its one of the cool Motorola phones that has all the cool stuff. Its essentally a cheaper, smaller, and locked up Razor (Tracfone disabled recieving of MP3s that aren't bought from Tracfone, using the browser to go to a website that isn't Tracfone's website, and all the stuff that came with the phone cannot be distributed, only the stuff you get. I do manage to get around the MP3 loss with MIDI sequences!:nerd:).

my mom was first wanting to get a blackberry, now she wants the iPhone, which I think is a much better choice, So I can get the ocarina app:P.But then either me or my annoying little sister will take her old phone, which I'm glad my mom will get a phone with internet, so I could be on ZD all the time:xd:.

Hey, I have the same phone, except it's black
The problem is, I barely use it, so my mom takes it so the minutes won't be a waste.

Mobile phones kind of ruined my life somehow. I was a happier person before I got my first one in 2003, I needed one to keep in touch with my class mates for projects and such. Now I have two, somehow they bother me .

My phone is so old that I can't find a photo of one even similar online. It's a Nokia, and I'm not sure what the number is to even search for that much more info. I think I got it...3 summers ago? I'm not sure. But it has been a trusty servant. I see my friends dropping their phones once and the phone breaks, or they get a weird glitch. I think it may be the fact the phones are so new and fancy they are more fragile....or they are using the phone more than I do!
Sometime I will get a new phone. I really want a camera phone. I don't see much point in buying a more fancier model while mine is still working just fine.

I am pretty sure my parents can text on there iPhones. But my father never saw the use in it. He thinks its a step back more then a step forward. He thinks text should have came first and then voice after ><

That phone actually does not look that bad. My fathers old phone kind of looked like that... only it had a bunch of cracks on it. It was really old and.. bulky kind of.

I think that most phones now a days have the texting ability. I don't want to pay for the service, so I text sparingly. It is a good way to contact family members while they are at work.

I guess that makes since. if we are at the movies and a friend calls my mother or father it is in text so you cant disturb other people or get kicked out. Its kind of like messenger on a computer really. It still is funny though to think that voice did come before text in phones.
But if I really think about it... phones have been around longer then any computer really.. so on the other hand.. it would mean text was impossible back then.
I guess what my father meant when he said that was that text should have came first on cell phones.. but even then.. it would still be odd =O
For the most part I don't text, 'cause I don't really like it (and I'm not really supposed to do it anway). I'd much rather speak with the person. Of course, if you can't get ahold of a person, text away.... that is, if they know how to text. :P

I hate to text, I rather call someone so that i'm 100% sure they get the message. The only downside is that calling is more expensive than texting -.-. When I was on holiday in Italy I just couldn't help myself and I called 3 times instead of texting (i think the total call time was just 6 minutes) and I lost 15 euro.
It depends on the plan you have though. For me, texting is much more expensive (unless it was long distance, I guess). That's why I try not to do it. I mean, my parents pay but if I go over a certain cost, then it comes out of my pocket.

Speaking of phones. I have a big big question. I see ALL these ads on TV with verison competing with AT&T. One says the other is better then the other.. and so on ><
But which one is really better? i mean.. my parents use AT&T I think because they use iPhones... and Apple has always been crazy about using the best technology (which is why they are expensive) so would Apple use a network that is the best or what?
I really dont know.. but Im curious about which one really is better.. because those ads annoy me after a while >>

I used to have a good cellphone, but it ended up on the bathub, so now I have a considerably old Sony ericson. It has camera and is in color, but it is not a great cell phone.
Even though, i am not wiiling to spend money on a new one

I have an LG EnV 2. It's not fancy, but it's a reliable little bugger and my favorite phone I've had so far. I wish I could get the iPhone, but I have Verizon... :(
