The spoiler warning should be contained in the thread's name.
Anyways, I wasn't surprised, I fell in love with the game when I heard Hyule Castle's theme and stuff...
It made the game much more complete to me

I was so pumped about going back to Hyrule, so when I seen the castle I was very excited. I will admit that it wasn't everything I was expecting, much like everyone else I'm sure expected to be able to actually explore Hyrule itself a little bit more rather than just the castle and a few surrounding areas. But it was great anyways. Best part of the whole game imo.

Hyrule Castle is one of my favorite parts of WW.
It's fun to fight all the enemys in the castle.

I loved it. And I was a bit surprised.

SPOILER WARNING

One of the coolest zelda moment ever is after you get the master sword and every thing goes from black & white to nice colouring. And all the enemies awakens, I suspected someting like that would happen and it was very exciting!

I thought going back down to the castle was amazing. Though, like DL said, I would've liked to have been able to explore a little more.

It was nice but I really wanted to explore the place more, I wish I could have gone to Castle Town.

Small. Very very small is what I first thought. That thing looked so tiny for a castle, and it's on this ledge it was like everything was destroyed in Hyrule except for that. I loved what they did with it though for the rest of the game. The transition from black and white to color, and fighting the moblins and darknuts, that was fun.

I remember getting chills.

It was really magical.
Especially with the accents of the music, and the devoid of color...
Haunting, really...
You really got the sense that you were in a place that had been untouched by time in a hundred years.

I love that feeling. I only get it from Zelda games. :)

Being able to go back to Hyrule castle was quite interesting, for me at least. I really liked the way it was done in black in white.
However, I was disappointed by the size of the castle, I found it to be incredibly for small for a "castle".

I also wished that there would've been more area to explore around, and inside, the castle. Still, I found it to be interesting, and thought that it added to the story of the Wind Waker.

Before that I was like"Okay, it is a different Zelda, it is good but, okay", and after seeing the Hyrule castle I started to fall in love, and after seeing the Vitrals of the Seven Sages and Ganon I was like "OMG I LOVE THIS GAME" I remember it as if it was today, It was late night, I was playing on the floor, and my sis was watching me playing from the couch, and i suddenly just said: "I LOVE IT" lolz

Well, my first thought was "WOW". I was getting pumped for another adventure in old Hyrule, being able to explore the fields again, seeing how many old locations looked familiar, etc. I was really expecting to be able to do this, and I was totally disappointed when all there was was Hyrule Castle and Ganon's Castle, with a tiny bit of land in between. But overall, I'm glad they added this little extra thing in, even if it was extremely cut of it's full potential.

It was cool. The music, both times, wasn't loud enough, though. Yet I like the atmosphere that is set (When the castle froze in time during an invasion). Then, when you see color come to the world, you know something wrong is about to happen. Unfortunately, it did, and there is a lot of pressing A than B. I always thought I would find Phantom Ganon in the castle (It comes right after the castle in the soundtrack), so I braced myself for that when I realised that he was actually in the Forsaken Fortress...

It didn't surprise me, but I got excited all the same. I thought it was such an awesome scene. The only thing that disappointed me was that I couldn't explore outside the castle.

one of my favorite parts of the game. Like others said before....seeing hte sages from OoT in the windows....was amazing......but the thing that really send shivers down my spine was seeing the statue of link.....like after OoT they actually built a statue of him inside the castle....awesome

WW=1st game played. So when I saw the castle was underground, I thought that was pretty cool. Reminded me of Atlantis and parts of a story I was writing.

Yeah, it was pretty interesting. Sadly, it doesn't go past that one word. I was plenty interested when I first saw it, thinking that it would be a massive dungeon after for some reason a third pearl dungeon was skipped. It looked really big, so I was also expecting for there to be some tough enemies along with a massive dungeon.

Wow, was I ever wrong. I walk in, and get a very sorry excuse for the amazing ALttP Hyrule Castle theme. It sounded so.....bland and monotone. Not interesting at all. And it was so tiny, so very very tiny. I guess I should have expected that after all of the tiny islands and dungeons I had been through already, but I guess I was giving WW too much credit at that moment. A super easy and boring puzzle followed, which didn't make much of a difference to me, seeing as I knew at that point this was just another gimmick WW had to offer. Seeing the windows in the basement was pretty much the only good part of it. The "obtaining the Master Sword" scene was very unimpressive, and was far below the other Master Sword scenes in the series.

After that, I actually got excited for a split second. Seeing all those enemies come alive, I thought I would actually have a challenge for the first time in this pathetically easy game! Wrong again. I thought Dark Nuts were supposed to be hard......? Oh wait, this is WW. Nothing is ever hard.

So yeah, nothing special for me. Slamming Link into the water barrier that restricted you outside the castle was amusing though.

Ummm, yes. It was kind of dissapointing. I was surprised to find Hyrule Castle under the sea, but it was very tiny. I wanted to explore the Hyrule field, not to get inside the castle.
And getting inside the castle was not all that great. I have to say that I was expecting more, too.

But it was a good experience, because when I entered for the first time, it was also the first time when I heard ALttP Hyrule castle theme.

You see, some experiences are what really matters when playing a game. The WW castle is special for me because of that.
