I like their original sound and I love the lyrics to their songs.

I have 29 songs of theirs on my iPod and I still can't decide what is my favorite. I really do like Let it Be though.

Thank god so many people have responded to this thread. I didn't think so many people would still love the Beatles. I figured some Death Metal or Jonas Brothers guys would rip on me and call the Beatles "old crap". Thanks to everyone who commented on this thread. I feel good that the Beatles music is still popular today.

I'm listening to Eleanor Rigby right now. It still gives me chills.
I doubt anyone would stop liking The Beatles anytime soon or anytime at all for that matter. There are to many good songs to choose my favorite so I'll just say All of them.

Man.. I've been listening to them since I was old enough to remember.. My father used to sing to me when I was a child and he normally sang The Beatles... I love their entire story.. they were first made famous in the town they grew up in.. going by The Beatles and everyone thought they were this big hit in Russia... John Lennon, the infamous "bad boy" of The Beatles was an outcast even then.. causing problems.. getting into scraps.. Strawberry Field was the name of a park from their home town... their music has so many hidden meanings it's amazing.

Maxwell's Silver Hammer is one of my favorites.. I love how it's such a happy song, and yet they are talking about a mass murderer who killed women that he was emotionally attached too. Or Lucy.. yeah, is did have some LSD influences.. but not directly.. the song definately isn't about LSD like most want to think... Jude just happed to be in love with a little girl named Lucy.. drew a picture of her with is 16 crayon box, and called it Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds... Yeah.. The Beatles were influced by drugs.. but so was everyone else back then..

The worst thing about it, when I was 6, I asked my father, why don't they come out with music anymore? And my dad then informed me that John Lennon was assassinated... I cried.. hard.. for a long time..

I kinda went about the same route two years later with Kurt Cobain.. =[

P.S. Did y'all here Lucy, the girl that the song was about, is sick, and dying.. she is terminally ill.. =[

While I think many of their songs aren't good, I overall like them and hold respect for what they did to the music industry.

Sgt. Pepper is my favorite album by them. Let It Be is my favorite song by them.

Poor Lucy, she made such an influence for one of the Beatles' greatest hits. Poor Jude, he's losing his greatest love.

I'd say Jude's wife was his greatest love.. they started speaking again recently though when he found out she was sick. He started doing things to make life easier for her... How nice of him.

Oh, I love this band. I've heard only a few of their songs though. I really like Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. Strawberry Fields Forever is also pretty good. And I have to say that I like the song Hello Goodbye. :P

There are a few other songs, but I can't think of what they're called. =/

If you haven't seen Across the Universe you should, I know you're probably like, Vash, nothing could ever match the Beatles.. Mr. Kites song on Across the Universe, imo, sounds better than the original.. WHICH IS HARD FOR ME TO SAY, I didn't want to admit it for a long time, but I finally did. And altogether the movie is really good. It doesn't shame The Beatles.

I think The Beatles: Rock Band turned me in to a Beatles fan. I wasn't a big fan of their music before I played it, and had only heard a few songs. But they've got some good stuff out there. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Hello Goodbye, Come Together, etc. Oh, and did I mention, that Yellow Submarine is the best movie ever? *points to avatar* Amazing band overall. Glad I bought that game :xd:.

I enjoy many of their songs, but I'm not a hardcore fan by any means. It sounds like they were awesome in their glory days!

The Beatles are spectacular. My friend is a fan and so am I, they do have so great songs. John Lennon said that they were a bit more popular than Jesus or something, that kind of angered many Christians, but I guess it's true.

I love "Norweigan Wood"

"I want you", and much more!

I used to listen to the Beatles when I was around 4. It's cool that they're coming out with a Beatles Rock Band, unfortunately my GH instruments aren't compadible. One song in particular is Strawberry Fields Forever. I love at the end where it says "I buried Paul." It was kind of interesting.

They're definately still popular. They even made a Rock Band game with Beatles songs in it.

I backed out of the Beatles Rockband. I played it at a friends house, and it was fun. Although, quite honestly, I've been addicted to rhythm games long enough.

Best. Band. Ever. I love the Beatles and always have - I grew up listening to oldies and whatnot, anyway, so the Beatles are in my blood (though there's a big debate in my family over who was better - Beatles vs Elvis). I can't choose any one song as a favorite, or even any one album. Each album is so different from the last.

Love 'em! My favorite song is Yesterday. My friends and I also made a few other versions of the song. It's sooooo funny!

I don't like them. Now, before a hail of fire and brimstone descends upon me, let me just say that I think they're a great band. I just don't like their sound. And I think I should be allowed to think that way. Honestly, those who say "The Beatles SUCK" aren't as much of a problem as those who say "ZOMG YOU HATEZ TEH BEATLES THAT MEANS YOU HATE MUZIK".
