Who's Your best and worst Character in brawl the one with You EVER EVER EVER and EVER win and and the one that you EVER EVER and EVER loose? Well Mine is Samus/Zero Suit and I just Pwn Everybody's butt with her XD. And my Worst is Ness + Lucas. . . I just Loose every single time with them -.-

I'm best with Luigi. He's my favorite character, I use him all the time, and I don't lose too often with him. And I absolutely hate Rob. He's really the only character I suck at using, I hate all his moves, and I just can't stand using him. So naturally, I don't do well when I use him.

MY best is a tie between Zelda and Peach! Power to the Princesses! I win a lot against my friends. My best friend says he's looking for a character that can beat both Zelda and Peach very well. He labels this character, "The Princess Assassin"! He still hasn't found that character! I'm also quite good with Pikachu.

My worst is probably Pit. I just CAN'T use him!

My best characters are Fox, Toon Link, Marth and Ike. They are just ownage in my opinion. My worst characters are Wario ,Snake and Ice Climbers. They just stink in my opinion.

My best is marth. for some reason ever since melee, he has been my best. he's quick, can deliver good damage and final blows, and especialy, his counter is fast. It required some practice to make good use of the counter. especialy when your opponent never expects it or when everyone is beating eachother up with close combat.

I noticed on the wifi battle's that most of the opponents who use marth barely or never use the counter move. Counter is his best move...

Some members of ZD battled me on wifi, so they know why i like marth. :D
Only shame is, sometimes the lag is annoying so the counter move delays. Counter is more a move for fast reaction, not a a move to predict your opponents attacks.

Toon Link is my best because of the Bomb and Down Strike move. I win a lot during Wi-Fi battles with my friends.

I own with Toon Link, and since I'm a big Lucario fan like LucarioMaster, I am also excellent with him. I remember doing a WiFi match with my German friend and I kept on using Double Team with Lucario. :xd:
I guess I'm just awesome with Toon Link somehow, I beat 3 lvl 9 difficulty com players with him.

Link is my best character. I know people say he's sluggish to use, but he's got some powerhouse attacks. I really love the upwards sword strike, and the jump that turns into a spin attack. It's great to hit people with one of those as they're jumping down / towards you. I'm usually able to land before they recover, and then hit them with the upwards strike for another good thrashing.

I also find it fairly easy to recover with him when falling off the stage, which is a bonus. Some characters I find don't recover from falls that well, or they're a little less predictable on the distance they will cover to get back to the edge. Maybe I'm jsut out of practice with other characters though.

I forgot, I never said who my worst was! I think worst might be Snake or Sonic, which is odd since they're the only non-Nintendo characters in the game. I'm not a fan of Snake's weapons based moves. I would find that someone would get in close and I'd go to hit them, only to pull out a grenade launcher and totally miss them. It was very frustrating, and I found despite the fact that he should be a good fighter, that he wasn't one.

Also, Sonic was just too fast. He was ok for more ground-based stages with larger areas, but I had a hard time controlling him on platform based stages. I often took care of myself before anyone else had a chance to defeat me.

Extremespeed is Up-B, not Down-B. Although Down-B shouldn't be called Double Team...

As for who I'm worst with? Well, I don't usually play as Meta Knight, and if I ever do, I usually get KO'd really fast. I'm not great with Snake either. All of his special moves take to long to pull off, or don't work as expected when I'm using them.

I have several character's I am good with, I also have several characters I suck a using. Here goes :

Link: I am very good with Link, In team matches I always get the largest KO total and usually the least deaths, I am good with swordsmen in this game so I can usually take on most other fighters that require close quarter fighting with ease, I tend to struggle more with ranged attackers and the other swordsmen. I also do pretty well with Link in Free for Alls.

Ike: Another swordsman I can use with effect, I get similar results with Ike to that of Link in fights but depending on the opposition it varies, I stuggle more with the fast fighters like Sonic. With Spam Machine's like Pit, Meta Knight and Sonic I am usually equal with them as they can't take a hit so you can knock them for miles.

Captain Falcon: Falcon is the only close quarters fighter I tend to use and I am good with him but I am better against bosses, I get slightly worse results with Falcon than that of what I get with Ike and Link. I stuggle with Swordsmen but can take them on by dart in and out dishing out damage. Overall I am still good with Falcon.

Moving on to my worst characters:

Peach: I hate using Peach, She is slow and is not very powerul, Her best attack is either hitting you with a golf club or hitting you with her butt. Other than that she really doesn't have much to go by. I falls to slowly thanks to her skirt thing and is an easy target for anyone waiting for a KO, Even if you press down to make yourself fall faster.

Captain Olimar: Nicknamed by a friend of mine "Captain Lolimar", He is a walking joke, He has a terrible recovery, A lack of decent offensive attacks and it not very heavy so he is sent flying, His Smash is bad unless you hit the enemy on landing, Even Peaches you can get easy KO with your golf club. If you have no Pikmen then you can't recover at all. He is fail.

I love the annoying B moves with Toon, shoot an arrow, throw a boomerang, or my all time favourite, chuck a bomb at them midair, and while the focus on dodging the bomb, hit the with the all powerful forward A in the air (my most common killing move)! :D

My absolute best character is Peach, and I'm pretty darn good with her. The fact that I love using her or Zelda makes people think I pick them just because they're girls, but Peach is an excellent character in a lot of ways. (Zelda's Side B and mid-air Up A are killer moves)

Of course, the best part is when you KO somebody and you do the taunt where she sings, "La lala lala la" :P (EDIT: "she" being Peach)

DeDeDe is pretty sweet too, his throws are really effective and his side smash a is deadly.

Don't ever make me play Jigglypuff though. While she's not my WORST character, I can't resist the urge to just run around and try to do a Down + B move on everybody. ;)

My best character(s) is the ice climbers I never ever die. I beat three level nine computers 10 stock in 5 minutes with out losing one stock. Unless you count Nana falling of the cliff in the last ten seconds.

Ike is in general considered to be a cheap or uber character. It's no wonder you're good with him. Toon Link is as annoying as PH (WW he was less annoying) and Lucario is just a retarded version of Mewtwo. I've got nothing to say against ROB.

That made me laugh actually. Terms like "uber" and "cheap" really make me laugh when it comes to SSB games in general. Just seems like an excuse for somone to cry over losing when they're beaten. I see no character as the ultimate, as you can always match it with your own character and skill. I for one know Meta Knight's biggest weakness as a light character; Dedede can make short work of him. Ike has a short attack range (his "long distance" is super predictable and avoidable), characters like Diddy and Samus with projectiles work great.

I've heard almost every character in Brawl be called "cheap", and it's always by the guy that just got his *** handed to him because he wasn't good enough.

The only better character is Sonic just for his final smash. He's the reason Smash Balls are not used commonly.

But on the topic of Ike, the closed areas I'm talking about are the ones that I unknowingly put in custom stages. I should stop trying to make pictures out of my stages. But really, it's not because we suck, it's because the guy using Ike is either really strong, a newbie who just doesn't want to suck, or is really lazy. I have a community that consists of the last two, and very few people who are skilled with Ike. So it's really just a matter of who you're playing against.

IKE! Yes, the slowass character no one seems to properly appreciate. =P That's why I like him, he's different. And powerful as all hell. And his Ragnell is one of the more epic blades I've ever seen in any game.

I'm good with pretty much every character. I can even hold my own against skilled opponents when using my worst characters. That's one of the prime reasons I pick Random so often.

But my very best is Marth. I can completely own most opponents with him. Rushing enemies, and getting them with his fast combo slashes, his long reach, or his counter (which I actually use somewhat rarely). I tend to be incredibly good at juggling with Marth.

My worst is probably Luigi. I hardly ever pick him and the way he jumps and moves in the air bothers me. If I were to pick him more often (which I've been considering) I'd likely improve significantly.

Funny thing is, my very best character isn't really my favorite. I have the most fun playing as Meta Knight, Toon Link, Wolf, Falco, and Fox. I also often have a lot of fun with Sonic and Snake.



The only better character is Sonic just for his final smash. He's the reason Smash Balls are not used commonly.

But on the topic of Ike, the closed areas I'm talking about are the ones that I unknowingly put in custom stages. I should stop trying to make pictures out of my stages. But really, it's not because we suck, it's because the guy using Ike is either really strong, a newbie who just doesn't want to suck, or is really lazy. I have a community that consists of the last two, and very few people who are skilled with Ike. So it's really just a matter of who you're playing against.
Sonic's FS is one of the most straightforward to dodge, actually. Like all Final Smashes, it's avoidable, but due to it's speed it's a little harder than usual. Even if it's a little more challenging, the basic idea behind dodging it is actually really simple compared to other ones, like Samus, Peach, Luigi, or Olimar.

As for Ike... I really don't feel he's cheap. I will say he's strong. He's definitely a powerful character, but he's horrendously slow. I can play opponents of equal skill who play as Ike and beat them with any other character.

He's definitely strong, though, I won't deny that. He's actually one of the characters I'd recommend to beginners. But I don't think he's cheap. Not to say he can't be used cheaply; every single character can.

My best would be Lucario or Toon Link.

When I'm in a good mood, and I want to use weapons or be fast, I choose Toon Link.

When I want to own at any cost, I choose Lucario.

I also choose Pit, Meta Knight and Bowser very often.

My worst would be...Sonic... No matter how many times I choose him, I can't get used to his extreme speed and movements. I also have problems with Ness, Lucas and Snake.

SQUIRTLE!!!!! Yep I've been playin through Brawl's subspace emissary and (WARNING!! YOU ARE ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE SPOILERS!!) got to the part where you use Lucas and the Pokemon Trainer to get through the ruined zoo. I suck crap at Lucas so I chose Pokemon Trainer and really started to get the hang of Squirtle. And there are other changes as well. So that moves my rankings to:

Yep Shiek, Mario, and Toon Link were knocked right out of the top five. I love Squirtle's Rapid Spin (my most trusted move). It kinda reminds me of Koops/Kooper's Power Shell attack from the Paper Marios.

She has everything I could want in a player: stellar recovery (making it virtually impossible to SD if you have any skill), a counterattack move (B) which works great against anybody more powerful than her, the most demoralizing throws (okay so maybe that's not a big deal), a projectile attack, a side + B that will hit through anything, a move that will get you items when they're turned off, the list goes on. (ever pulled a bomb or home-run bat out when items are off? ... "Where the heck did that come from?" :P )

And if you don't like her final smash then don't play her. I think it's awesome. Peach is really good for hovering out way off the edge of the stage and attacking players still recovering. Her final smash allows you to do that easily.

Plus, Peach's smash is the only smash (that I'm aware of) that actually benefits HERSELF. Peach is the only character I can consistently win a five-life game without losing a life, simply because she can recover health easily. Her smash allows her to get easy KOs on those who it would be otherwise difficult to KO.

If I had to criticize Peach, it would be for her lack of strong KO moves. She can deal out damage better than most, but it's hard for her to KO somebody. Usually I end up hitting them a little bit off the edge, then aggressively beating them back farther and farther until they can't recover anymore.

But seriously, she's an awesome character. What could be better than taunting "La La La LaLa La" when you ko someone else? :D

Okay this may be true for you but I'm not accustomed to her abilities (meaning my statement of her above was true for me at least) and also I don't play as her usually. Although I can see where you're coming from with the taunt *dangles little sister over a cliff in a Peach costume and imitates taunt*. I tend to do well with more rounded characters such as Luigi. Also my list has yet again been altered.

Link is both my favourite and best character.

My play style is more long range combat, with as least close combat as possible. So I focus at precision bombing, boomerang knockback and unexpected arrows. I also focus on dodging close combat, staying away from other characters when I can and recovery, meaning i'm usually the one with the most damage before KO of the match. I'm known by the people I play for my ability to somehow recover from some of the least surviveable situations.

In saying that, my worst character is Yoshi. Which is ironic, as my main rival of the friends I play this with has Yoshi as his best character, and his play style is highly aggresive. He's the guy who always, ALWAYS gets the Smash Ball, and has mastered Yoshis somewhat awkward Final Smash, and probably the reason I play so defensively.

You just get right next to the target and use it. On Battlefield, when some guy playing as Ike got the other player and I in his final smash, we went flying. You're right in the sense that Ike has an easy to pull off Final Smash in comparison to some other characters and it does a large amount of damage and theres a good chance it can KO you.

However, if you aren't absolutely terrible at playing defensively, you can dodge his Final Smash, even on a stage like Final Destination, its severely difficult especially if you have next to no time to think about what you're about to do next, but it isn't impossible to dodge it.

Secondly, if you're playing defensively and keeping you're damage as low as you can, it's also survivable. It will do a large amount of damage to you, and will send you on your way to a KO, but it is recoverable if you know what you're doing.

I have no real best. But the one that would probably be most qualified for it would be Mr. Game and Watch. Followed up by Luigi and Jigglypuff. I'm also pretty good with Wario, Ike, and Marth. I must say, though, beating people with Jigglypuff is so satisfying to do, especially when you're up against someone who's rather smug and confident in beating you.

As for worst... That would be a tie between Pit, Metaknight, and Toon Link. Mainly because I rarely choose them. I have grudges against Pit and Toon Link, Pit generally just being obnoxious to deal with and I hate most his attacks anyway. Toon Link, however, I'm not sure why I don't choose him and refuse to. I could just be a stubborn mule with no real reason for it, no telling. But as for Meta Knight, I'm no good at using him. Although I generally choose him when just messing around and usually pick the gaudy pink colour scheme for him because of how ridiculous it looks on him.

As for everyone else, I'm rather average with them. Some ranging to above average but not quite good enough to below average but not quite bad enough.

I think my new best is Kirby. I've practiced fighting with him while playing SSB and SSBM at my school, and I'm doing awesome on SSBB. My next best (who was my best before I practiced with Kirby) is Link. He was always my favourite character in the SSB games, and so I'd always be him. I'm pretty good as Pit. I thought Pit wouldn't be such a great character, but ever since the Subspace Emissary, he became one of my favourites. And then there's Pikachu. I've always had him as one of my favourites. x3

Now for my worst, there's Wolf, Solid Snake, Jugglypuff, Sonic, Ganondorf, and Captain Falcon. I...just have a hard time with them. :sweat:

Best- Shiek/zelda, link (I like juggling them in the air or using that wierd hand attack with shiek, and when I want to get cheap, I change to zelda and continuously click B, which basically prevents them from getting close to me.)

My worsts r snake, olimar a little, rob (strongly) guess that's it. But what I hate about sonic, is that when he's CPU, he ALWAYS follows me!! Pain in the butt! I'm 2nd player. My favourite characters tend to be Toon Link, Link, Zelda and Kirby. Kirby is epic, he really is. A combination of suction powers, smashing hammers and throwing punches, Kirby adds up to one of the most powerful characters in the game. Unfortunately for me, my sister nabs Kirby and demands I be someone different -_-. So, I usually go for Toon Link because I prefer him to normal Link. I like his moves too, boomerang, bombs, and the many sword motions. Even though Link also has these moves, I just think Toon Link is cute. Zelda is also a good character, I rarely play as her but when I do I normally win.

Pikachu is a popular choice among my family. When Pikachu gets the smash ball his power is good, some character's need skillfull players to master the smash ball powers, whereas for Pikachu it is fairly easy to knockout everyone. However, I have mastered Link/Toon Link's smash ball power, it's not hard though when you are playing against a 11 and 8 year old! xD

But, unsuprisingly, for me the Zelda characters are superior to the rest. :)

EDIT: I love using Link's bombs and Sheik's (for lack of a better term) shooty nail things. That makes me pretty good with each of them.

Worst: Marth. I've played as him maybe once or twice, and I don't even know his moves. I once went into a match and randomly picked him, I got my *** kicked without even scoring one KO, and I later chose Lucario and obliterated my opponent. It was the same person, by the way.

Best Marth - Why you ask? First of all, his are fast and well paced and puts good pressure on your opponent. Has also good air attacks, including his meteor smash.
Second would be his counter move, i'm a master with its counter, especially when my opponent is under pressure. Only this fails sometimes with Wi-Fi if there is lag. It ruins my timing. And there is the final smash, one hit, one kill, HISSATSU! whats not to like about that?

Worst - Olimar...to think there would be a character worse then jigglypuff...

My best would be.... Kirby by far. I love using him, I can just swollow up my opponent and just use some of their moves, which is really handy I must say.
My worst by far would be Captain Falcon. I just did not like him. He has great moves, I just can't master his character. (But I mastered Mr. Game&Watch? How is that even possible?)

I tend to play as fast characters, and since Link isn't fast whatsoever, I have no idea what went wrong there. :p When I say "fast," I mean "fast attacking speed," not running speed. I get aggravated by the characters that have moves that take a second to initiate (for example, Mario's side-A aerial). It throws my timing off and I can't hit anything whatsoever. >_< Nothing against those characters, though! Every character is good in their own unique way. :D

I can play as any character, really, but my best character is Toon Link. I LOVE the sword-weidlers in the game, (Link, Toon Link, Marth, Ike, etc.), but Toon Link is the best for me, simply because he's fast, light, and more of an all-around character than themed on a single advantage. Plus, I've beat-up 3 level 9 Ganondorfs with my boomerang in slow motion. It was awesome.

My worst would need to be a tie between Ganondorf, Bowser, King Dedede, Ness, Lucas, ROB, and Mr. Game and Watch. Honestly, I don't see how anyone can play as them. I'm still developing a basic system for them, and none seem to work.

Ganondorf is my best character in Melee and used to be my best character in Brawl because of his awsome strength. And I like King Dedede because of his overpowering Hammer, which can deal Huge amount of damage. The only downfall is that their slow.
