Have you ever heard or known a song that reflects what your feeling? Such as if you fell in love with a person, you would hear a love song that would tell about what you feel about that person. But it doesn't also have to be about love. It could be about your anger, or past.

Yeah, I would have to say a few of the lines in Bohevien Rhapsody by Queen describes me.
I'm just a poor boy, I need no symphathy. Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low. Anyways the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me.
That describes me on a few occasions.

It may sound stupid, but... "Love Bug" by the Jonas Brothers.
Mostly these bits:
Now I'm speechless, over the edge
I'm just breathless
I never thought that I'd catch this love bug again
-------------------------------------------------
I can't get your smile out of my mind
[I can't get you out of my mind]
I think about your eyes all the time
You're beautiful but you don't even try
Yes, I know what you are thinking, so don't say it. :P
For the past few years, I've said that Welcome to my Life by Simple Plan fits me. Looking at the lyrics now, I feel like a loser. :P

Wheels of confusion by Black Sabbath seems to explain me.. in a creepy.. kind of way..
Sometimes I feel happy.. like Im in a day dream.. most of the time its how I feel anyway.. and some days I feel like there is no hope and Im lost and confused..
Here are the lyrics.. you might see what I mean ^^
Long ago I wandered through my mind
in the land of fairy tales and stories
Lost in happiness I had no fears
Innocence and love was all I knew
was it illusion?
Soon the days went passing into years
Happiness just didn't come so easy
Life was born of fairy tales and daydreams
Innocence was just another word
was it illusion?
Lost in the wheels of confusion
Running through furnace of tears
Eyes full of angered illusion
Hiding in everyday fears
So I found that life is just a game
But you know there's never been a winner
Try your hardest, just to be a loser
The world will still be turning when you're gone
yeah when you're gone!

Any song by the Spice Girls, duh!
Actually, a few songs tend to reflect me - depending on my mood.
Wired Claire: Seven Boom Melody by Freezepop
Nerdy Claire: The Geeks Get the Girls by American Hi-Fi
Relaxed Claire: The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian
Dancey Dance Claire: Believe by Cher
Excited Claire: The Suffering by Coheed and Cambria
Lovey Dovey Claire: Heaven by DJ Sammy
Nervous Claire: May It Be by Enya
Irish Pride Claire: Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly
Callow Claire: Sex ED Rocks! by I Set My Friends on Fire (feat. Smosh)
Upset Claire: Hurt by Johnny Cash
Totally Happy Claire: The Joker by Steve Miller Band
Super Confident Claire: Victory Song by Ensiferum
Rip Your Face Off Claire: Trollhammaren by Finntroll
In A Daze Claire: Jillian (I'd Give My Heart) by Within Temptation
Sleepy Claire: Eva by Nightwish
That is just a short list. :P
Just on an average day, I tend to listen to Blind Guardian, Within Temptation, Ensiferum, Týr, or Flogging Molly. They basically sum up the music which would, I suppose, would reflect me.

Whenever I get a crush, or see a guy I like, the first song that pops to my head is 'Listen to your Heart' by umm..I think it's DHP, correct me if I'm wrong.
I also like Stand By Me, and Kung Fu Fighting. That's my theme song

"Stuck in a moment" by U2 might be a song that could reflect my life, sad but true it is! I have thought about if this song was played on my own funeral, a bit tragic mayhaps. We all have to be positive.

This may sound stupid but there is this one song that kind of describes me. Its called "Headfirst for halos" by My Chemical Romance. Especially the lyrics:
"Well let's go back to the middle of the day that starts it all
I can't begin to let you know just what I'm feeling
And now the red ones make me fly
And the blue ones help me fall
And I think I'll blow my brains against the ceiling
And as the fragments of my skull begin to fall
Fall on your tongue like pixie dust just think happy thoughts!"
It makes me really hyper and happy when I'm feeling depressed/sad. I'm rarely depressed/sad now a days since I'm really happy most of the time. I still listen to the song even when I'm very happy.

The song that reflects me is I am(all of me) by Crush 40. Why?
Because of my personality. Sometimes I'm against my friends and with my enemies ,
Sometimes I'm with my friends and against my enemies.
But when i can't decide i go alone. Sometimes I'm bad, sometimes I'm good.

Oh, there was a topic like this on North Castle. I'll answer it the same way here as I did there.
"Paperback Writer" by the Beatles.
Because I'm trying to be/hoping to become a real-life writer. The feeling of please, please, give me a chance, look at my manuscript and I'll change it around if you'd like!

Scars by Papa Roach. I'm trying to get used to being rejected by a girl I really care about, so this song sums it all up.
And Disturbed songs Awaken (from Believe), Perfect Insanity (from Indestrucitble), The Night (also from Indestructible), and Down with the Sickness (from The Sickness).
All of them describe not only my personality, but my insecurity with myself and my undying rage against anything that gets in my way.

Heh, I listen to a rather odd and sometimes naive jumble of songs, that varies every couple of months... but I'd probably say these ones always sum me up:
- Still Alive from Mirror's Edge.
Despite being from a video game, each verse sums up many things about how and what I think...
"So silent
No violence
But inside my head
So loud and clear
You're screaming
You're screaming
Coverd up with a smile
I've learned to fear.
Just sunshine
And blue sky
Is this all we get
For living here?
...
I've learnt to lose
I've learnt to win
I turn my face against the wind.
I will move fast
I will move slow
I'll take me where I have to go."
- Imaginary and Everybody's Fool by Evanescence sum me up as well- again they deal with reality vs lies vs the imaginary:
"Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape"
and
"...Just what we all need
More lies about a world that
Never was and never will be
Have you no shame?..."

Thing is I don't normally think about this kind of thing so it's difficult for me. I listen to music purely for what sounds good to me, so I listen to a lot of music that does not fit or suit me well personality-wise.
There was one song I listened to that really resonated with me, cheesy as it may sound when you read the lyrics.
It was Shine It All Around by Robert Plant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSt3x5HqiAA
The lyrics (below) are absurdly happy and optimistic. While I wouldn't say that's me exactly, those sort of are my ideals. I don't believe in approaching things with pessimism and I think if you literally spread good around things will be better, just as long as you choose to do so. I also feel the instrumentals work along with the lyrics to overall fit my personality (darker sounds, etc. I'm not always nice, as I can be kind of an *** and sort of constantly irritated :xd: ). So there's my explanation. XP
Lyrics (roughly):
This is the land where I live
Paint it all over golden
Take a little sunshine spread it all around
This is the love that I give
These are the arms for the holding
Turn on your love light shine it all around
Shine it all around, shine it all around
These are the times of my life
Bright and strong and golden
This is the way that I choose when the deal goes down
This is the world that I love
Painted all over troubled
Take a little sunshine shine it all around
End a little sign now, spread it all around now
Hine it all around now, when the deal goes down now
Shine it all around, Shine it all around
This is the heart of the man
This is the heart of the matter
Break a little bread now spread it all around
E a little bread now, all around
Shine it all around, shine it all around

I'm not sure if there is a song that reflects me right now, but parts of Jewel's Good-Bye Alice in Wonderland resonate with me, particularly this section of the bridge:
Growing up is not an absence of dreaming
It's being able to understand the difference between the ones you can hold
And the ones that you've been sold
And dreaming is a good thing cause it brings new things to life
But pretending is an ending that perpetuates a lie
Forgetting what you are
Seeing for what you've been told
I like the way it effectively says that being realistic doesn't mean giving up your dreams. The song actually has several layers, but that's the part that I connect with.

I have a few songs that have some lyrics that pertain to me. One of them is the song "Just the Way I Am" by Skye Sweetnam.
I'm strange and I like it
That's just the way I am
I can't change; I can't hide it
That's just the way I am
Might as well get over it
But don't try to understand
I'm strange and I like it
That's just the way I am
~~
They can't rain on my parade
I'm sunshine on a cloudy day
Make lemons into lemonade
I'm just having fun
Another one is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield:
I am Unwritten
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page
Before you open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate
The words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release you inhabitions
Feel the rain on you skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
And lastly "Awake and Alive" by Skillet:
I'm at war with world cause I...
Ain't never gonna sell my soul
I've already made up my mind...
No matter what I can't be bought or sold

This was all I could think of. I couldn't really think of something else besides the fact that I'm always ready to challenge someone. I'm also really determined, competitive, and self-centered. If you say crap to me I'll immediately take it as an attack. Also the beginning...I have a foul mouth but it gets worse when I'm angry.

Oh, I'm ready for it

Oh, I'm ready for it

So kiss me goodbye.
Honey I'm gonna make it out alive
So kiss me goodbye.

So kiss me goodbye.
Honey, I'm gonna make it out alive
So kiss me goodbye.
I can see the venom in their eyes
Goodbye.

These snakes are slitherin'
with dollar signs in they eyes
with tongues so reptilian
This industry's venomous
with cold-blooded sentiment
No need for nervousness
It's just a little turbulence.
So kiss me goodbye.
Honey I'm make it out alive
So kiss me goodbye.
I can see the venom in their eyes
So kiss me goodbye.
Honey, I'm gonna make it out alive
So kiss me goodbye.

It's been awhile, so I'll change the song "I am.....All of me" into....Servant of Evil (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwnyPIbt1BA)
The reason behind this is the song itself. It's about a servant, who is actually the brother of the queen who reigns the kingdom. Her sister, is full of pride, corrupt, and does everything frivolously without concern. Her Brother helped her with her wishes, and granted them, sacrificing his needs for her. The people could not stand her, so they rose against her, to get revenge. Her brother reveals his identity, and then cross-dresses to protect her, by taking the death toll. The Selfish Queen, disguised as her brother, cried while he was executed, and has seen what she had done. What's so sweet about the song is, that his wish was to be her brother in the next life. The song is related to Daughter of Evil (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-ghPx-A-O0).
It reflects me, because somewhat, I am like that servant, always helping people who had lost SO much. I want them to be happy, even if it costs me what I want. Take time to listen to it. It's sweet, yet sad.
Here are the lyrics....in English.
You're a princess, I'm a servant
Destiny separated pitiful twins
If it's for the sake of protecting you
I'll become evil for you
We had high expectations when we were born
We were blessed by the ringing of the church bells
But because of selfish adult reasons
Our future was split in two
Even if all the world
Became your enemy
I will protect you so
Just be there smiling
You're a princess, I'm a servant
Destiny separated pitiful twins
If it's for the sake of protecting you
I'll become evil for you
When I went to a neighbouring country
In town I caught sight Green Haired Girl
Hearing her kind voice and seeing her smiling face
I fell in love at first sight
But if the princess wishes for that girl
To be removed....
I will answer that request
..Why? My tears won't stop?
You're a princess, I'm a servant
Destiny separated madly driven twins
"Today's snack is brioche"
You laugh innocently as I served you
Before long this country will probably end
By the hands of angered citizens
Even if we so deserved this
I will definately oppose them
"Here, change into my clothes"
"Please do this and escape immediately"
"It's alright we are twins"
"Surely no one will realize"
I'm a princess, you're a fugitive
Destiny separated sad twins
If they say that you are evil
Then I have the same evil blood flowing through me
Once upon a time there was
A treacherous kingdom
And reigning over that place
Was my very cute sibling
Even if all the world
Became your enemy
I will protect you so
You just be somewhere smiling
You're a princess, I'm a servant
Destiny separated pitiful twins
If it's for the sake of protecting you
I'll become evil for you
If we could be reborn...
I want to be with you again....

Well, I don't know too many songs... so finding one that fits me is rather difficult to say. I suppose certain songs could reflect my current mood, but they would change from hour to hour and day to day. So, I guess because I am fairly random--as is my mood, some medley would probably fit me the best. The dramatic changes in tempo and mood would definitely suit me well.
Since I am a big fan of Koji Kondo and his lovely soundtracks, I suppose this here medley would be quite fitting for me:

Rain by Breaking Benjamin and Rainbow Veins by Owl City.
RAIN by BREAKING BENJAMIN
Take a photograph,
It'll be the last,
Not a dollar or a crowd could ever keep me here,
I don't have a past
I just have a chance,
Not a family or honest plea remains to say,
Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun.
Is it you I want or just the notion
Of a heart to wrap around so I can find my way around?
Safe to say from here,
You're getting closer now,
We are never sad 'cause we are not allowed to be
Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun.
Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun.
To lie here under you,
Is all that I could ever do,
To lie here under you is all,
To lie here under you is all that i could ever do,
To lie here under you is all,
Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun.
Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun,
All the world is waiting for the sun,
All the world is waiting fo

Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru
When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
You're giving me too many things
Lately you're all I need
You smiled at me and said,
Don't get me wrong I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"
When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
The daily things
that keep us all busy
all confusing me thats when u came to me and said,
Wish i could prove i love you
but does that mean i have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
It's enough when i say so,
And maybe somethings are that simple
When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before
When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before
Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

commercial for levi - placebo
cavalier eternal - against me!
midnight hands - Rise Against
whistles the wind - flogging molly
are all songs i could say suit me depending on my day.
"if you dont change your situation, you'll die"
"girl, im sorry but i'm leaving, we're bot at fault, we're both to blame, it wasn't the other men cuz there were other women, this just isn't love, just the remorse of a loss of feeling"
"where ever you might go, whatever path you take, whenever you decide to leave, i will follow"
"somebody said you were doing all right, somehow i guess they were wrong"

Epic bump... :/
I'm incredibly nitpicky when it comes to musical preferences and such. Also, I'm not very emotional; I'm very much "robotic", actually. However, if I had to choose a song which "reflects" my personality and stuff, it'd have to be Living Inside the Shell by Steve Conte, seeing as I sort of "live inside a shell" both literally and figuratively. Rather, I'm trapped inside one, or so I've been told. This song practically encompasses my life into words...or something. Whatever...

Vocals: Steve Conte / Shanti Snyder (Reading)
Music: Kanno Youko
Lyrics: Shanti Snyder
Roaming inbetween the worlds of sleep and awake
Seems so far away from where I've been and untrue but unafraid
Intrusting -- my soul -- I know I must be taken to see the world that is
Not so far from now
Imaginations come and sweep the shores of my mind
Letting it be, visions pass, and emotions arise--
Letting them go, and beyond are doors I've never seen, opening one by one
(Wake up and show the light, wake up the time is right)
I hear a voice, hear a voice calling out to me
Look inside, see the light now ever holding you
All the truth is all you need to make of your reality, its right here
Look deep within your shell
Finding out a galaxy of planets and stars within me
Listening to each of them singing the same silent melody
I've never seen such beauty in possibility -- no speck of doubt or fear
(Wake up and show the light, wake up the time is right)
I hear a voice, hear a voice calling out to me
I see inside, see the light now ever holding me
All the truth, all I need to make of this reality it's -- beauty within the shell
(Wake up and show the light, wake up the time is right)
I hear a voice, hear a voice calling out to me
I see inside, see the light now ever holding me
All the truth, all I need to make of this reality, it's inside
Right here within this shell
The sandglass starts for another time's beginning from within
Cotton fields, mama's arms are gently unfolding me into the new...
(Wake up and show the light, wake up the time is right)
[Reading]
Here from behind my sight, my thoughts my mind
Show from the light
The time is right
And from the depth within show the balance
Of outer and inner harmony
Mind and heart, soul and spirit undivided
Here's where the true strength and beauty lies
We'll see this before us with our own eyes
We'll see, with our own eyes... LOVE
(Wake up and show the light, wake up the time is right)
I hear a voice, hear a voice calling out to me
I see inside, see the light now ever holding me
All the truth, all I need to make of this reality it's -- beauty within the shell

I have posted this so many times on the forums that it feels like I'm spamming, but I absolutely love this song and can't help sharing it. In real life I move at a very fast pace and like to keep things that way. It's rare that I let anything drag me down to the point of disconsolation. Instead I remind myself myself of the better things in life. This keeps me upbeat and oblivious to most harmful deportments. Unfortunately it tends to give me an attitude of nonchalance, which easily can interpret to pride. But whatever the burden I pull myself back out and move at the pace life allows me to, howbeit a bit quicker at times.
Again, I bid you enjoy it:

Contains lyrics within:
I'm falling free
In the wind, In the wind
Free to be me
In the wind, In the wind
What would it feel like
To be speed of light
And rule the night and day
Watch out they're passin' by you
Man to try you
They just can't keep up
Into the free
Into the me
Into the ever knowin'
Felt so refrained
Felt so constrained
But now I'm breakin' out
I'm falling free
In the wind, In the wind
Free to be me
In the wind, In the wind
And problems spiel
You made to deal
With no hesitation
Crawl, walk, or run
You had your fun
A reachin' very certain
Into the free
Into the me'
Into the ever knowin'
Felt so constrained
Felt so in pain
But now I'm breakin' out
I'm fallin' in
Into the free, To the free
Free to be me
I am free, I am free
I'm free...
Free...
I'm falling free
In the wind, In the wind
Free to be me
In the wind, in the wind
What would it take
You to make
A simple speed transition
Into the known
The unknown
Finish wild temptation
Into the free
And startin' me
Into the ever knowin'
Felt so constrained
Felt so ashamed
But now I'm breakin' out
I'm livin' in
In the free, In the free
Free to be me
I am free, I am free
I'm falling free
In the wind, In the wind
Free to be me
In the wind, In the wind
I'm falling free
In the wind, In the wind
Free to be me
In the wind, In the wind
I'm free...

Umm...well, one song that definitely describes me (or my situation/life right now) is Waiting for the End by Linkin Park. It's gotta be one of my favorite songs by them, and these lyrics basically describe me:
Waiting for the end to come
Wishing I had strength to stand
This is not what I had planned
It's out of my control....
Flying at the speed of light
Thoughts were spinning in my head
So many things were left unsaid
It's hard to let you go...
(Oh!) I know what it takes to move on,
I know how it feels to lie,
Particularly this line:All I wanna do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got
Sitting in an empty room
Trying to forget the past
This was never meant to last,
I wish it wasn't so...
(Oh!) I know what it takes to move on,
I know how it feels to lie,
All I wanna do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got
Another one would be So Positive by Down with Webster, truly an inspirtational song, especially when it comes to me because I went through some really rough times this past year and the only thing that got me through it was this song, which really taught me to be "so positive." ;) The chorus makes me tear up now. it's rather embarassing. here it is:
I'm so, I'm so positive
And I know, that I'll be alright now
I'm so, I'm so positive
And I know, that I'll be alright now
I don't mind, I've been going through this my whole life
And I know I, can't fly, but I close my eyes and I try
It's just so ME. It's crazy.
I could list a billion other songs but these are just the basics :3
