Kinstone collecting and fusion was a huge part of Minish Cap. What did you think about it?

For me it was fun for the first 10 fusions but after a while I think it gets a bit boring and uninspiring. There were just to many kinstones in my opinion.

(Think I saw a thread like this before but now I can not find it. If one exist please remove this. But I think it is an inportant question!)

I enjoyed it, but it was definitely tedious and confusing at times. It was definitely gratifying when you could finally use up one that you'd had for a while.

eh i thought kinstones pieces were all right except when you keep getting the same pieces or getting confused having to search through the entire area looking for them which made the game better

It was entertaining, until you were down to the very last kinstones. I recall having about 2-5 kinstones left, and just spending days running around aimlessly trying to find someone whom I haven't fused kinstones with. It's like anything, once you get pretty low on kinstones and low on those who you can actually fuse them with, you begin to lose the fun in it and just become frustrated when you are unsuccessful.

It was fun at first. Then it just went on waaay to long for me >< It got kind of dull after a while

I liked fusing kinstones. I hate how I have 1 kinstone and I can't figure out who or what to fuse with, and I've been trying to figure it out for over a month.

Yeah, I gave up on all the Kinstone fusion stuff. It was fun during the game, and I have everything in the game except for one piece of heart and 2 Kinstone fusions (the piece of heart is probably from one of them, just my guess). It gets tedious and boring trying to hunt down the last few people, and I don't feel the need to spend hours trying to locate two people/objects to fuse with.

I liked it a lot. It opened up a lot of secrets to the game. I think it made The Minish Cap much more enjoyable.

... welcome to the club, brother. I have beaten the game three times, have the mirror shield, light arrows, carlov medal, almost all of the heart pieces, and every item and bottle, including remote bombs, and I only have 1 kinstone left to fuse. I even have the guide and I can't find the last who or whatever... :cucco:

The first time I played part ways through the game, I completely ignored the Kinstones, thinking "thats the dumbest side-quest idea I have ever seen." Which in most cases I still feel that way, but once you actually learn to do it (of course at my first time through I didn't exactly know how to do it), its not so bad, but definitely not the best idea they have ever came up with for side quests.

I liked fusing kinstones. It was not a big problem to find all fusings. This is the first zelda game that i completed 100%.

The problem is some of the fusers are a bit fussy. Like, one of the school teachers, I had to leave and enter the school about 20 times for her to fuse with me.

You need to dig one space to the left of the door, right in front of links house. I have even gotten two red rupees from that hole at the same time!

Unfortunately it doesn't work in the european version:S

Kinstone fusing was a lot different from the traditional sidequests, and it was fun, but, in the end, it was all just to get a statue of Tingle-.-
