What method of control do you use in SSBB?
I use the Gamecube controller

GameCube controller. I've tried a few of the other ways and could probably learn with time but it is hard to get used to having attacks and jumps not available at the right thumb.

I use either GameCube controller (get confused with Wind Waker's controls, occasionally...) or the sideways remote (I don't use nunchuck, for I confuse the controls with that of Twilight Princess's).

I use the remote and nuncuk(sp?)
It really does make the game more fun.

I use GameCube controller only. Haven't tested the Wiimote & Nunchuck yet. It makes the transition easier, because I have been playing a lot of Melee before Brawl came out.

Wii Remote & Nunchuck (the thing about this one is that sometimes I confuse the controls of TP Lol)
Wii Remote sideways (I totally suck at this one)
Gamecube controller (meh it's ok)
When I could play Brawl, I used Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

I use Wiimote and nunchuck. I'd rather use a GC controller, but I no longer have one. But I still find it a lot easier to use to Wiimote/nunchuck than just the Wiimote. I haven't quite gotten used to that yet.

I either play with the Wii controlle sideways or the classic controller

Oddly enough, I always play with the Classic Controler. I really love my little Classic Controler....

I used to play with the Gamecube Controller (and I still prefer it,) but as of late I seem to be used the Wiimote held sideways, mostly for the sheer convenience of picking up my remote, turning on my system, and playing, only needing to pick up a single device to do it all. Plus not having to deal with any wires.
It also makes me not play quite as good, which I like since I generally kick a lot of hindquarters. It makes fighting a bit more challenging.

Gamecube, I think that the main reason that it's so popular is because pretty much everyone with the GC controller has Melee, and everyone who has Melee loves it and played it a lot before Brawl.

Gamecube controller.
Melee has been the first SSB game I ever played, so I'm used to it more.

Well. I got rid of my brawl just before Christmas. (Did not enjoy it that much.) But up to that point I used my gamecube controls. Worked fine for me :P.

I haven't really played Brawl, except for at my friend's house, I found it the easiest and best for me to use the Wiimote and the nunchuck.
I couldn't really get it confused with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess', because I've never played it. :P
I've used just the Wiimote before, because not all of the controller's at his house have nunchucks, but using a nunchuck I find it easy, and I've never played gamecube brawl.

I've always stuck with the GameCube controller and I haven't tried any others. Nor do I want to, really. GC works fine for me. I'm used to it, since I played Melee.

I don't really play Brawl anymore, or anything on Wii for that matter (till my freakin tv gets fixed). But when I did I mainly used to Classic Controller or the GC. Using the Wiimote and Nunchuck just didn't feel right for that type of game, especially where your not really using any big motion control exclusives or anything to play. Imo, it just makes it harder to use the Wiimote. Classic Controller is my main choice, but I'll go with the GC if I have to.

I always use the GC controller, the classic controller, wii remote, and wii remote + nunchuk just seem to difficult to use.

I play with either a GameCube controller or Wiimote + Nunchuck. Sideways Wiimote is hard and feels too... stiff.

Cube controller. Since I played Melee that much it didn't really take all that long to get used to Brawl.
I found the Wii controller + Nunchuck combination to be quite odd. Playing the game with just a Wii remote is pretty good too.

I used to only do GCN style, but I've recently adapted to the Wii-mote style and haven't used the GC style for a year straight.

My god!! It's not worth spiking your blood pressure to the stroke zone. But..............
I use my trusty nunchuk and wiimote to get things done in Brawl. I'm just used to using it when I play my wii. I just love the feel.

I always play Brawl using the WiiMote+Nunchuck combination, no particular reason why though, probably cause I just think it's easy to control and to understand.
But, I don't really play Brawl anymore, the novelty eventually wore off after I completed the Subspace Emissary and all of the extra things such as Boss battles and All Star mode.

I never played previous generations of Smash Bros for extended periods of time, so I never really got used to the previous control schemes that some really enjoy using (ie - the GC controller). So, when I got Brawl, I tried each out breifly and chose the Classic Controller which just seemed the most natural to me.
I probably would have ended up using the GC controller except for the fact that I only have the standard wired version. My TV's 46", so with the wire and the location of the Wii it's a bit of a close distance to be sitting. The Classic Controller, albeit tethered to a Wiimote at my side on the couch, is a lot easier to use because of the distance problem.
I also just like using the dual thumb sticks on the CC and the extra smashing power they give. I'm sure it's the same for the GC, but the symmetry of the CC makes it feel better. The only problem I have with it is the 2nd shoulder buttons. They're a bit awkward to hit, but I don't tend to use those ones often.

I like the Wiimote and Nunchuck. I used to play with the GC controller, but then one day my bro asked me to change controllers. I always used the GC one, and my bro the Wiimote and Nunchuck, but then I tried it and since then it's the only one I use. I don't want to use another one.

I used to play with Wiimote / nunchuck, but tbh it just can't compare with the gamecube controller. Gamecube controller FTW!

On Super Smash Bros. I use the classic Game-cube controller for maximum pwnage! It is simple yet enjoyable for giving the player that classic Super Smash Bros/Melee feeling! I also play Brawl using the Wiimote sideways. In a way I love it, I also memorized the controls and moves so I mostly use Wiimote. (Side ways!)

i use the GC controller, it has a comfortable grip feel, it has easy acess buttons, and the C-stick smash attacks are the best kind of cheating.
The wii-mote for me is a little difficult because of my lack of jumping skills with the D-pad and joystick, thats all

I use the Wiimote/Nunchuk when I play Brawl. I've gotten so used to using that when I play Brawl that it feels weird if I play it with a different controller. :xd:

oh oops i acsidently posted when i wanted to go advance. any way, i love the wiimote and nunchuk. iabsalutly hate cords, they get tangled up to much.
Please don't double post. Also please type so that it's presentable.
Anyway, I find it weird that you like the Wii remote and Nunchuk combo because you don't like wires, yet there is a wire connecting the nunchuk to the remote.

Wouldn't exactly call that the kind of wire that is easily tangled, when compared to say the GC wire.
I use the Wiimote, mainly out of pure laziness, seeing as I have to use it to turn the game on, and I cba to go get the GC. But also, my GC controller has started to die on me. >.<

I use the Gamecube Controller, the Wii-remote attachment and the Wiimote itself. I am versatile when it comes to playing Brawl but i do hate not jumping properly when i'm using the Wiimote. It is kinda annoying.

I normally use the nunchuck, just because it feels natural that way, but whatever makes you happy. The GC controller kind of got outdated once the Wii came along, so I can only reccomend that you use the Classic Controller or the nunchuck. Hope this helps you!

I only use the Gamecube controller because of back in the times of Melee, when I was a tourney-tard. Occasionally I do play with the Wiimote, but my skills are no where near what they usually are when I do. I have always been the 'use standard control as much as possible' kind of guy.

I've always used the Gamecube Controller while playing Brawl. I find the gamecube controller comfortable and easy to use. Before I got Brawl I was playing Melee very often, so I really didn't have to go through a transition for learning new controllers and such.

GameCube controller is the way to go, to me it feels the most natural and non-hassle method. I've played SSB64, I've played SSBM, and I expect to play Brawl exactly like I did the past two games. : D

I buy a bunch of slaves, dress them like the characters, give them the weapons, and force them to fight to death!
Just kidding. I use the Gamecube controller, originally because I was using too many batteries with the Wii Remote (sideways).

Melee was the first Super Smash Bros game I've played, so I have become a natural with the Gamecube controller. It just seems to have the perfect placement of buttons, eliminating any confusion that may follow. On the other hand, a Wiimote-turned-sideways throws me off greatly, whereas it paired with a Nunchuk better fits my preference but lack one thing: the C-Stick. That is one thing I loved about the GC controls ever since learning about it. With Pikachu in Melee I used to employ the side-shock attack or downward electric cyclone move (whatever it's called) to nearby enemies, rocketing their HP up by the ten %s each time they aspired to challenge me head-on.
But there is also the Classic Controller that plugs into the Wiimote, and some brands are shaped like Gamecube controllers; mine is. I could wield this with almost equal results, but don't since it requires batteries to play. And at the moment my Wiimote power is being conserved for Skyward Sword. So I continue to utilize the GC controls as my main asset for Brawl (and Melee), regardless of their irksome tendency to become entangled.

Generally speaking, I use a Gamecube controller. However, I don't have a particular game controller preference, per se, as I am a very adept brawler; neither control scheme negatively effects my gameplay.

I use the gamecube controller and I really got used to it,but with the Wii U that doesn't support the GC controller I really wonder what will happen for the next super smash bros.I just hope they make a ''classic'' GC controller

Yeah, for Brawl, I believe the best controller is the GCN one. Also, iSaix, there will be the classic controller which is quite similar to the GCN pad.
Anyone play Melee though?

Yeah, Melee is much tighter than Brawl.

I generally use the GCN controller for play. Also, I highly oppose items, as they remove any drop of skill in the game, rather leaving it up to chance.
