need help in minish cap, confused

well, im following the site walkthrough, im tryin to complete this game 100%, im on the royal crypt run after the temple of droplets...

it says the school is open and you can fuse kinstones with one of the kids in it, theres two kids eating lunch, and NEITHER of them can fuse kinstones, i know i have all the ones you can fuse with people, theres 3 empty kinstone slots, and im pretty sure those are the golden kinstone pieces' spots...

the fusion bubble thing doesnt appear over either kid's head, so can someone tell me how im supposed to fuse with people who cant fuse kinstones...?

someone needs to fix up these walkthroughs' mistakes...

There are some fusions that don't happen always, and only happen randomly, maybe those kids are some of those examples... otherwise, you could have done something wrong...

i dont think you did anything wrong. as far as im concerned, you dont have to do anything specific to fuse kinstones (except have the right kinstone) so you should be able to fuse whenever you want. maybe its a glitch or something.

I'm pretty sure the kid you can fuse with is actually outside in the school yard area, running around with some other kids.

And yeah, the walkthroughs all probably need some cleaning up. *Sigh*
