I love this series. I have lost all of my games though and I need to get some more. Can anyone suggest to me what megaman game I should get next?

Have you played Megaman 9 yet?
It's downloadable from WiiWare, and I think it's better than the immortal Megaman 2:D

Well I'd always recommend the classic series particularly 1-6 and 9, the first 3 X games are good and I enjoyed the Zero series on the GBA. Haven't played Legends, the pseudo RPGs or much of Z/X so I can't say much about those except Z/X is very similar to Zero.
I think I've played like three Megamans. I can't remember which ones but they were pretty good.

Try out X-X3, they were awesome. I've beaten X-X8, they got really hard after X4. The originals are pretty awesome too, but that damn stage where you gotta drop down while the lasers come across teh screen... its just toooo much.

Man I can remember when I cleared that without using Flash Stopper for the first time. I was pretty happy. Just got to be quicker than the beams.

Just a quick question. Are they all for GBA, or do they have them for DS (other than the one where you morph into other things) and GC and Wii? I think they are mostly for GBA.

I'm a big fan of Megaman as well (and have been for a long time.)
I'd recommend Megaman 7 and 8, as well as Megaman X4 or X8.
I don't have every game, though. I haven't really played the early NES ones... :(

I remember I played Mega man 3 a long time ago. It was very hard for me. I have not played any of the newer ones but I might try them ^^

Megaman 1-9: My thoughts on these games are that Capcom did a fantastic job on game play, and music. Come on, who can not love Megaman 2 Wily Stage 1?! It did have some downers at the ending. Megaman 8 was a complete fail in my opinion. Megaman's sprites were horrible, it also was kind of "stupid" (You know I mean more) that they have animated cut scenes and they made Megaman sound like he is Roll. Heck, Roll had a manlier voice!

Yeah 7 and 8 just never felt right to me. In 7 Mega Man's sprite was just way too big and slow and 8 had the problem of having too "animated" a sprite so his actions just felt laggy.
Also 8's voices were horrid. Some of the worst ever.

I like Megaman for the powerups. I downloaded the original on VC a few months back. Hard it was. I still have yet to beat:
Gutsman
Fireman
Iceman
7 and 8 are awful because 7 has the slowest moving Megaman ever. 8 has cutscenes that have awful japanese animation and horrid sound. The sprites were also just not right for PSX and Saturn. Now 9, I will consider a little. Battlenet sucks, Starforce gives a new meaning to suck, but the BattleNet manga reminds me of YuGiOh TGC (the only good one) and Pokemon, so I have a liking for it.

I disagree with the whole battlenetwork and starforce games sucking. As much as I love Megaman, Battlenetwork and Starforce are great games/series. The only thing that sucks about them is that each game in Battle network seem to be exactly the same. There is some threat to the internet so Megaman has to stop it. There wasn't much variety, but let's be honest, there wasn't much variety in the original series either. Starforce completely changed the gameplay up which was kind of disappointing. I loved the gameplay of MMBN. It was an RPG that allowed you to actually try and dodge attacks rather than standing there and letting statistics decide. Starforce was kind of like that but instead of having 9 squares to move between you only had 3. Still not a bad game though.
I loved the Megaman Legends game. It was a completely 3D game with different gameplay and story. It was a good game and they should continue that series.
