I have ancestors from Spain, Panama, Italy, and Greece. I know I have more from other places as well, but those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head. My mom and her family are from Panama, and I lived there for a while myself when I was little.

Based upon last names, Chagnon, my dad's ancestors are from France. My mother's, Clarke, would be from Italy.

Well my ancestors come from quite a few places, so I'll list the major ones and the smaller ones.
Major- (Germany, England) <- biggest
Minor- Scotland, Denmark, France (a little tiny bit), and a quite a bit from Norway
I think the two biggest ones that are in my head right now are Germany and Czechoslovakia. Can't remember the rest.

Where are my ancestors from? Well, quite the question - since I am such a devotee to genealogy. The following are the countries of origin I have evidence to support:
Ireland, England, Scotland, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and the United States*.
*I have some ancestors which were part of the Blackfoot tribe, located in Montana-Canada.
I currently have absolutely no information about the origin of my father's last name, because they arrived in the United States before Ellis Island was constructed to keep documentation, so there is no one with my last name on record.
So far, we've found connections with Norway, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, and Belgium. There is a staggering population from Norway with surnames extremely similar to mine, by spelling and by pronunciation. So until I am capable of finding the connection between my last name, the valley where they originally settled, and manage to find some documentation - Norway is the closest country to hold my father's ancestry, as my own.
I hope to be successful, and so far I was able to find one Irish family all the way back to 820 A.D.

irish, spanish(basque to be specific), danish, and hungarian.
ive learned from stories told to me by my grandparents that i am related to some kind of royalty from spain, denmark, and hungary, the irish weren't so lucky.
the spanish bit is that the king went and had affair with the maid and the maid ran away. Denmark, the daughter of the duke loved the stable boy, dady found out, they ran away, duke send assasin who kills stable boy(that is 100% true, the first im not quite sure) Hungary, related to royalty but got banished during the rise of communism:(. and somehow all these people end up having children who have children who come to america.
those poor irish-men came over and settled in pennsylvania. ooooooo.

On my dad's side, we're German and Irish. On my mom's side, we're Native American (Seminole, if you want to be exact) with some English. I think our family arrived in the U.S. in 1912 or something to that effect, so we're relatively new.

Unfortunately I do not know. But if I ever saw them I might punch them and then ask them the following: Why did you chose such a cold country?
So, it seems that if you go back far enough (like... 1000 years) some of my family MIGHT have come from somewhere in Scandinavia - most likely Norway. I personally think this is very interesting.

My old people traveled here by boat from Sicily. That's in Italy. Not much else to say on the topic. I guess if I had to say something to elaborate... it'd be that I've never been to Italy.

Most of my ancestors are from Norway. However, I also have ancestors from Ireland (quite a bit from here, actually. We were able to trace back our last name to an Irish family's last name that was a bit different from ours now. It was 'Wraithbone'.), and then I have some ancestors from Germany.

I believe that my ancestors on my dad's side of the family came from England way back, and the ones on my mom's side came from Germany. At least that's what I was told when I was younger. I wish I knew more about it, but I never really think to ask.

Spain and Japan. That's it. :/
My adoptive father, on the other hand, is Native American, and so was his adoptive father. His adoptive mother is of the Page (dunno if that's the proper spelling) family, which is some rich family with ties to England.

I'm very German, though my last name is French. I'm guessing most of my ancestors came from Germany and my branch of the family picked up the name at one point.
Apparently, if you go back far enough (as in hundreds/a thousand?) years, my family may have been in Scandinavia. I think that's pretty neat. It would definately add some interest to my quite boring heritage.

I use the two generation rule to decide. Meaning, if your grandparents were born in a America, and your parents lived in America, you are American. Otherwise it gets too complicated. Like the Native Americans... How Native are they? They likely came here sometime before since history leads us to believe civilization started in the present day middle east... and humanity apparently started in Africa. So are we all Africans? Middle Eastern?
I was born in America but my parents are Armenian. For all common purposes, I consider myself a 100% American born Patriot. :)

Norwegian and Swedish on my dad's side, and some Indian and Irish on my mom's side.
My dad's side loves to make some weird jokes about my grandma since she's 100% Swedish and jokes about Norway to my grandpa since he's the same percent Norwegian as my grandma is Swedish. o.o

I'm 99.99% certain that I am pure Chinese, all ancestors from China, myself being China-born as well. However there is that 0.01% doubt since my dad once told me there's a slight chance his great granddad may have been of Jewish blood.

Well, let's see...
I'm part German from my dad's side, and part Polish from my mom's side. I'm also possibly part Native American on my dad's side, but I'm not sure.
Most of my family is Italian, some might be Swedish, some are Portuguese. Many of my ancestors left their homes because war was striking there/nearby. As far as I'm concerned, they were all peaceful people, and the Italian ones worked on the production of clothes.

My recent ancestors are supposedly from Germany, Scotland, and Ireland.
But according to DNA testing, my distant paternal ancestors are most likely from northern Finland. My distant maternal ancestors are most likely from Austria.
Y-DNA: I1d
mtDNA: W3 (and my STR markers line up most with samples from Austria).

Well, on my Mother's side, my ancestry is mostly British, with a little bit of Irish, Scottish, and French. Fun fact: My great grandfather owned a major tin corporation, but went bankrupt sometime around the invention of cheap plastics. :xd:
My father's ancestry is primarily Polish and Russian, and partially Swiss and German.

My parents and grandparents were all born in Canada (Where I live). My grandma on my mom's side is full Ukranian, my grandpa on my mom's side is full Scottish, my other grandma is full French and my other grandpa is half Scottish and half German. So I'm Canadian, Scottish, French, Ukranian and German.
I also have a fun fact like DuckNoises. Two, actually. My Great Great Grandma lived until she was 102 and I met her on her 100th birthday. The second is that she used to live in Ukraine until she was 14. She came to Canada alone. Her friend bought her tickets to go on the Titanic for her journey from Europe to Canada but the tickets apparently didn't arrive on time and she had to take a different boat. If the tickets arrived on time, she would have gone on the Titanic. I don't think I need to explain what would have happened if she DID go on it..
