Who is your favorite comedian? Mine is Jeff Dunham, who is a ventriliquist. If you look him up one Youtube, you will see just how funny he is. So who is YOUR favorite comedian?

I've got quite a few. Let's see, there's:
-Jeff Dunham
-Rhod Gilbert
-Dane Cook, sometimes.
-Carlos Mencia is funny when he's not dropping the F bomb every two seconds.

There are others, but I can't remember them.

Not me.

Jeff Dunam is pretty good. You know, you can just edit your posts. You don't have to use another post.

I like everyone from Blue Collor comidy. Larry the cable guy is good. Jeff Foxworthy is awesome too. Sam Kinison is the bomb. He will blast you away.

My favorite comedian is Gabriel Iglesias.

http://kjzz.org/news/arizona/archives/200607/gabrieliglesias/gabcar.jpg

He basically jokes entirely about his own weight, from the 5 levels of fat, to his hilarous jokes about flashing a camera at Disney World and being asked if they saw two big women (when two big men flashed the camera).

Well than you should have edited it instead. And you don't have to use a new post to piont out the fact that you knew how to edit but you didn't which caused a double post. You could have deleted your first post even, because some people might consider it to be spam.

Thanks. I will when I find the time.

What do you mean? Did you just make us post our favorite comedians just so that you could find one that you like and watch it a lot?

rodney carrington's

Rodney carington is AWESOME! He sings some of the funniest songs. If you have iTunes, then look up Rodney Carrington. You should hear his song titled "A Dozen Rozes". That song is hillarious and it has a good rythm to it too. Just listen to the lyrics in it.

Thats a toughie; I want to say people like Bill Bailey, Dara O'Brien and Sean Lock but I reckon that Im going to have to go with Tim Minchin:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2321/2051193510_56769af1a6.jpg?v=0

He plays piano, writes songs, sings and is a comedian. There is sich thing as being too talented =P But he's really funny on everything, very down to Earth in all of his songs and is actually a really talented musician. =] And as well as that, I have a really big crush on him. :D I think he's hot...

I just remembered another very funny comedian. He died not to long ago, but his jokes live on. And by jokes, I mean parodies of songs. His name was Weird Al, and if you want to hear his songs, they have music videos on youtube of them. I love his parody "a very complicated song" (complicated).

It suprised me to when I heard it, but my friend told me, and I trust him. Plus, he only died recently, so it probably is not very widely known. Sorry to break it to you.

Well I don't really care for him so it doesn't matter, but the fact that it says it like nowhere makes me think otherwise then your friend does. How would he even know?

You might want to do research before you say that someone died.

Currently its Jim Gaffigan. If you've never heard his standup, you haven't lived. He's the only person who can go on about bacon for 15 minutes and make each joke funnier then the last.

I do not really like comedians (in the way you guys seem to see it). Cause you mean stand-ups?

But surely there are a lot of fun people in the world! (Especially people that want to seem superior and believe they are although it seems otherwise!).

Some actors are really fun: Like Matt Dillon. Perhaps he is not versatile but in his simplicity hi is insanely fun even when is supposed to be serious, yeah!!!

There are plenty more but that would be enough for now. I´m in desperatly need of coffee

Dane Cook and Lewis Black.

Granted, I haven't seen a ton of either of them; I don't pay much attention to comedians... but what I have seen I loved.

Jon Stewart - Jewish comedian, and if you don't know who he is you really should.
Dean Obeidallah - Palestinian-Italian comedian, very funny.
Aron Kader - Palestinian-Mormon comedian, which in and of itself is funny. Plus, he's funny.
Maz Jobrani - Iranian comedian, really great.

Jon Stewart is pretty great :)

I can't handle Dane Cook that often, but he is pretty funny. I just recently discovered Gabriel Iglesias. I love his "not fat, fluffy" comments.

Brian Regan is pretty great and so is Tim Hawkins.

I'm surprised that so many people like Carlos Mencia.
Carlos Mencia is a hack who steals jokes from other comedians, cause he's not funny enough to come up with his own.

No offense to anyone who likes Carlos Mencia, but I don't see how anyone can find this guy funny.

Mike Pothier
10-20-2009, 10:11 PM
What exactly has Carlos Mencia stolen?

Because if you want a thief, it's a proven fact that Dane Cook steals most of his material, mostly because he is too busy developing his tremendous ego rather then original jokes.

I'm not very big on comedians (being a prude and all. |D) so my thoughts on them are limited...
But Jim Gaffigan is my faaaaaaaavorite. : D I envy my mother and brother; they got to see him live. :C

A lot of comedians end up doing similar jokes, especially when they are observing things that happen frequently. It happens a lot with even some of the best comedians, does not mean they are stealing.

And on that note I would still like to say that Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia are some of my least favorite comedians, but it is questionable to say they are stealing jokes.

My favorite comedians are Mitch Hedberg, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, Richard Prior, George Carlin, Steven Wright, Jon Stewart, and Zach Galifianakis.

Let's play scenes from a hat!
I felt like Greg Proops was a common random 4th person.
That's a great show, and I'm a fan of the Drew Carey Show too-Ryan Stiles is amazing on that as well. Too bad only the first season is out on dvd.

Anyway the first comedians that come to my mind as favorites are: Jim Gaffigan, Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, and Demitri Martin.
