I don't think it would be that good. A swordsgirl, it just doesn't sound right. When she fought a boss, the boss would puncher her and then she would say: "Ouch. I think I chiped a nail." I don't think it would be very good.

Hmm, I don't know about this. I personally would not like it very much if Link was a girl. If it happened, I might still buy it, but I don't think it would be a beneficial change.

if you did this then you would have to make Zelda a boy, which obviously wouldnt work because only the girls in the royal family are named Zelda and if she gbot kidnapped or something NO one would trust a girl to save her. its medievil game and in those times people looked down on girls and never thought of them as strong or brave except for the sages and Zelda in WW when she is a BA pirate.

Well, keep in mind, Zelda isn't OUR medieval age. It could easily be (and in several cases, actually seems to be) very different. It really seems to me that in Hyrule girls aren't looked down on as much as in our crappy history.

Anyway... as for Link being a girl... I suppose it could work... but it would be better if it weren't actually Link, and if it were in a spinoff game (MM, MC,) rather than a main title in the series.

Really i think a girl link is a cool idea (and i sorta wish nintendo would make a zelda with a girl link). but instead of being a prissy princess type that bawls her eyes out when she chips a nail she would be more like ashei from twilight princess. Of course she'd still wear the classic green tunic and green brimmed hat but the end of the tunic would come down lower (a few inches above the knees) and the hair would sorta come out of the hat a little and she would be tp links great great great great granddaughter. There would still be a princess zelda too and they would have a backstory from before the game starts. and btw zelda and link rarely have a romantic relationship. The only times it is seen that i know of is zeldaII the original loz and alttp. Chew on dat.
