What does everyone think about the hover boots.
I don't really like them.

They weren't my favorite, because I tend to like traction a lot, and a lot of the time I didn't quite make it across the gorge in the second room in the Shadow Temple, because the boots ran out of Hover power. But they got the job done I guess.

i don 't think really much of it.
i don 't go why its sliding when you wear them...
and i certainly don 't get why it has the design of the pegasus boots...

They're pretty good. Not the greatest combo of wearing with a tunic, however.

I though they added a nice twist to the Shadow Temple.

I liked them very much, except for that they would slide everywhere. So i only wear them when I have too.

To me there kind of handy because your able to walk on air. But what sucks is it only lasts a little bit.;)

I love the Hover Boots. Once I get them, they don't come off. :)

Once I have everything I always wear Goron Tunic, Mirror Shield, and Hover Boots. Although I frequently have troubles getting on Epona.

I thought they were an awesome idea but I didn't like how you had to be pretty quick with them....I often fell to my death.

They were interesting... I liked the equipment switching thing (boots, tunics,) so I liked having them and I still miss them.

They were a bit weird, yeah, but there were a lot of interesting moments with them in the Shadow Temple. It'd like it if they made another game with them and did more.

Not a whole lot. I don't find them hard to control at all.I'd say I just got used to them, 'cause I actually found once, after switching back to the regular boots, I would screw up a lot more, because I was no longer used to the 'friction.'

Actually I wore the hover boots all of the time. They were really awesome. They looked so great with my super sexy Goron Tunic and Mirror Shield.

Besides the fact that they made you slide around whenever you stopped, they were really good.

The hoover boots, in my opinion, were more of a nuisance to me than a benefit. Of course there were the parts of the Shadow Temple that required them, and that was good and all, but overall, I think they were a little bit useless.
One, you would slide all over the place.
Two, they lost power rather quickly. And finally, I didn't understand the point of having them if they barely even got the job done, even if they were required in the Shadow Temple.

I didn't like the looks of them, but at most parts of the game, I liked what they could do. I just didn't like wearing them while fighting Bongo-Bong. I would stay up in the air if he bounced me up (which become very annoying after the first two times).

Being able to casually walk on air/hover was pretty cool, but they tend to slip around a lot, so I didn't really care for the Hover Boots. They kinda got on my nerves.

I usually wear the Zora Tunic, Mirror Shield, and the hover Boots. The Hover boots are not that hard to handle but getting on Epona is pretty difficult.

Well, to be truthful I almost always wear the hover boots. they look super awesome with my Master Sword, Goron Tunic, and Mirror Shield. They may be sort of hard to control at times because you slide around, but their not that bad.

I liked the hover boots for no apparent reason
except maybe that you can keep the momentum you get from rolling so you go faster than normal

I really hated the Hover Boots, because of the many times that I hover successfully across a gap, only to lost traction and go sliding off the other end. It was a real pain. And you can only hover for a very short amount of time, which lets you get just a little bit further than normal jumping.

It was one of those items where when you first encounter and use them, you squeal like a piggy because you think it is absolutely fantastic!

Then you spend more time using them, discover the pain of trying to use them in certain situations. The concept is great, but just wearing them casually makes every walking surface become a slip and slide. They are best worn when actually needed, and never when they aren't!

and if your trying to use them against bongo bongo(which I did) your sure to lose

They would of been great for bongo bongo if they didn't have that lack of traction.
-he bounces you on the drum, but since you stop and float in mid air, you can still take that arrow shot at him while he's trying to bounce you on the drum.

It would of been a very creative boss battle if this was more highlighted in the fight.

Too bad they screwed it all up.

I think it was the obvious intention of having a drum-floor beating boss, actually.

I rarely used them, found them being a bit "hyper". But after reading the posts in this thread I might use em more often in the future :)

My mind is finally more open.

Sliding around Hyrule might be fun!

I hated the hover boots. They needed to have better traction, in my opinion. Unless you had a small gap you wanted to cross, they were useless. And how often do you find yourself in need of them? I would have liked it if they added a small vertical hover motion ability, as if they were... hovering..

Overall though, it had an interesting design aside from looking too much like the Pegasus Boots.

I always use the Hover Boots for everthing once I get them. I find that they don't slide much, also, I don't have to worry about making mistakes as much. I just really love them.

I wore the Hover Boots where ever I went. They have such amazing traction.

They were ok. it was fun to run off of edges and float ^^ What I didnt like was how they were really slippery. it made them kind of dangerous

And is it me.. or do the hover boots look like the magik boots from Solstice?

Since I was too lazy to change into the hover boots when I needed it, I just kept it on at all times.
I'm fine with it.

I particularly liked the Hover Boots. The traction made for a harder experience, which translates to me as good. They're a good combo for any tunic/boots though I prefer Zora Tunic > Hylian Shield > Hovers more than any other. :)

They weren't exactly useful, but they were a ton of fun to use!

Does anyone else know how easy the Water Temple is if you get the Hover Boots early?

I never use the Hover boots unless I have to, I don't like the way you slide around. I like good traction:)

The Hover Boots really annoy me. Why create flying boots if you can only fly two feet with them? Seriously.

I loved the hover boots for one reason. Hello! You hover! I did not like the whole "no traction thing", but it is just a small proce to pay for beating the Shadow Temple.
