Favorite Miniboss from Ocarina of Time

Yeah, I know, I already made something like this. But this is miniboss. Hey, I just want people to voice out their opinions.
I say my faviorate boss was Flare Dancer. He was a fun boss to fight, minus the whole "Chase the guy around the block".

Dark Link pwns all the other mini-bosses. He was the best part of the Water Temple. And I agree with Abyss Master's statement about Dark Link probably being the best mini-boss out of all the Zelda games. I certainly can't think of a better one.

But I do enjoy fighting the Iron Knuckles a lot. Especially as a kid, because they are a lot harder and more fun to kill.

Judgind by the results, Dark link must be an oustanding Mini boss. I havent battled him yet, but form what I know he copies what you do, so It's hard to get in a hit. But is it maybe just people are voting for him becuase he's cool?

Wow. As the poll shows, Dark Link beats every other mini boss in the game. It was the only genuine sword to sword mini boss in the game, and it was pretty challenging too. Unless of course you cheat and use Din's Fire or the Megaton hammer.

Dark Link and Flare Dancer are probably my next favorite ones, followed afterward by the Poe Sisters.

I pick the Iron Knuckle because, frankly, it's probably my second favorite creature after the ChuChu.

dark link was the coolest mini boss but could be defeated easily if u used dins fire megaton hammer or big goron sword yep i 2 shotted dark link with big goron sword and it was 2 normal swings so i was shocked / disapointed for his weakness iron knuckles were great fun cos in my three heart run i had to kite them around with bombs until the armour came off so that was really fun

I'd have to say that the Iron Knuckle was my favourite.
He was challenging, and also an pretty fun enemy to fight. I enjoyed having a more one-on-one fight, as with Dark Link. However, I found more fun to try and predict the Iron Knuckle's moves, rather always know the enemy's moves.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Iron Knuckle. The last time I went through OoT, they didn't bother me as much as they used to. Dead Hand, the Poe Sisters and the Flare Dancer are really cool as well though.

Dark link was the best mini-boss. He was quite difficult to beat because he copied everything and that made the fight a lot more challenging than other mini-boss fights. And it was such a reward fighting against dark link after being lost in that awful watertemple for weeks.

My favorite mini-boss would definitely be Dark Link.

It is always fun encountering Dark Link, and here he was both challenging and enjoyable to fight with. I honestly think the room itself was rather enjoyable, because of how odd it was at first to me. It is always, always satisfying to hear that screech once you've finally won.

Ugh...He was SO annoying when you had to fight him as a kid. I died the first time I fought him, and I've held a grudge every since.>:(

Well, it seems logical, for each mini-boss has an HP limit on it. The HP limit is invisable to the player, but the computer keeps track of it. The Kokiri Sword was programmed to deal little HP as possible to any of the minibosses, yet that is why it is easier to beat Dead Hand with the Master Sword. The Biggeron Sword is also programmed to be greater than the Master Sword, making it possible to deal a massive amount of HP to the enemy. That is why it takes 3 hits to take down a Tektike with the Kokiri Sword, and it takes one with the Biggeron Sword. Back on topic, this simply means it takes longer to take out Dead Hand with the Kokiri Sword, rather than the Biggeron or Master Swords.

noone likes stalfos:kawaii:I just loved stalfos they I think wwere the coolest looking stalfos from any game but they're really easy for me I just L target them(yes you can see I have collectors edition)and do a side jump and they're vulnerable making it really simple but they do do like 1-4 hearts of damage

I personally liked fighting the Iron Knuckles.
I felt like I was fighting a real knight with a huge ax.
Dark Link was pretty cool, but got a little boring after
him counterattacking your every move at him. He's a pretty good guy tho.

I don't love Dark Link himself as much as other people do, but he was still my favourite mini-boss battle, but not because of him. Rather, it was because of the setting.

When I first played the game, I went into the room he was in and I was confused as all get out. I was inside, yet I was outside. It was a really surreal appearance, especially with the door on the other side of the room just sitting there. It was bizarre, and I became extremely wary of just what was going on. I remember just standing in the doorway at first, afraid to move because I knew something was wrong.

Then I searched out the room, and there was nothing in it. After awhile, I must have hit that correct spot to be to call Dark Link out, and suddenly I was being attacked. The battle itself I didn't find too special, he was fairly easy to defeat, but the whole setting just impressed me. It's one of those very memorable locations in the series.

Dark Link is the obvious winner.

He was hard, except if you used Din's fire or the hammer, but was still a challenge even then. He was definately the highlight of the temple, but I still say the best part of the Water Temple, is when you take the portal and get the heck out of there :lol:

The setting was awesome and erie at the same time cause you knew something would happen, but you weren't sure what, and how it made it seem like you were outside even though you knew you were inside. Plus, he's is probably the most random mini boss because you weren't expecting a shadow of yourself but something water related. And his moves were cool as well, especially how he can jump on your sword and hit you. I also found him to be harder than Morpha, which really says something about a mini-boss.

All in all, I'd say he's the best mini-boss in OoT and might be the best in the series.

I'd have to say, like most of the people here, that my favourite is Dark Link, The room you fight him in is unique (even if It's pretty easy to find the walls even while the illusion is going), and he is crazy hard to fight. I kept trying to Hookshot him, and he kept dodging. It took me about 15 minutes to beat him with the Master Sword.

OoT had such awesome minibosses. That is one of the things I will never forget about this game, the minibosses.

But my vote goes to Iron Knuckle. Was that not one of the most epic fights in the game? I also like the concept of Nabooru being brainwashed by Koume and Kotake, I thought that was really interesting.

The fight was also challenging, unlike most of OoT's content. Seriously, that thing hits hard. Harder than most, if not all, regular bosses. It was somewhere around 3-4 hearts taken away in one swing if I remember correctly. There was also a strategy needed to get a hit in effectively. Overall, it was a very fun and challenging miniboss.

I'll probably never forget the moment i first walked into that surreal environment. And for some reason I remember finding it incredibly amusing to get the sound of hitting a wall when hitting.. Nothing.

Also, I liked Iron Knuckle, but then he kicked my butt on my second playthrough for some reason :(

My favorite mini-boss definitely have to be Dark Link, in the Water Temple. Yeah. I tought it was an epic battle (a real challenge if you don't use the Biggoron's Sword or any other items than the sword), and it was a pretty fun and challenging fight. :mastersword::sword:

In 2nd comes the Dead Hand. He was a cool mini-boss and fighting against him is always fun and nice. It was really cool to fight him two times in OOT. He has a scary look on his face. And I enjoyed cuttting his hands that arise from the floor... o.o

Nabooru as the Iron Knuckle was awesome too, but she was easier than the other Iron Knuckles...

The Ironknuckle it was cool how you actually fought an enemy who could have some armor and was actually a challenge! I also like dark link but he was easy when you had the biggoron's sword and din's fire.:clap::lol::P

when at first it stood up, and then the music stopped because it realized it didn't have the ax.

One question though if you go back into the temple to the mini boss part can you fight the mini boss again?? That'd be fun because I like playing zelda just for the fighting sometimes, rather than just the puzzles and main quest.

Personally, Dark Link wins hands down, he must be implemented into the next Zelda game.
