Ocarina of Time had a good ammount of bosses in there. Some were fun, not many were retarded. This game may, actually, have some of the funnest and hardest bosses in Legend of Zelda in some opinions. With that said, I would like to offer you a question: Which boss was the best boss to fight?
I think my favorite boss would be Twinrova. I loved using the Mirror Shield to hit the flames at each other sister. And the last part too was pretty cool.
So......much fighting. :P

For me it would be Bongo Bongo.
Who thought of fighting on a giant drum?:D

I like Barinade as my fun boss. He is a very complex, multistep boss that is very fun to fight. The only one that makes you run the entire time!

Twinrova fo' me as well. I absotubely love the Spirit Temple, and the boss battle was verily awesome. The Twinrova fight is one of my favorite bosses out of all the Zelda games.

Voted for Twinrova. That battle had the most action seemingly. Getting to use the mirror sheild to fight was awesome.

I voted for Bongo-Bongo, because it took me a couple days to beat him and looked cool. I also like Volvagia, because it also took me while (1 hour) to beat him.

Twinrova. Definitely. I had the most fun with them, and it was pretty dandy using the Mirror shield to absorb the elemental attacks (from the second stage of the fight) and then blasting Twinrova with a huge beam of Ice, or Fire as the case may be. Also, the conversation between them at the end of the fight was pretty funny.
My second favorite would have to be Ganon. It was the most epic boss battle of the game, and it was sort of challenging, seeing as a single hit from one of those huge trident things takes four hearts.

Without a doubt Twinrova, fun battle with an excellent set-up and everything... Second best would have to be Bongo-Bongo, that was really fun and stuff. Then Morpha.

Twinrova definately.
She was so much fun to fight.
Other than her...
The Dark Link battle...(if he counts...)

Sorry, but Dark Link is concidered, in the game's engine, a mini-boss.

Am I the only guy who found Barniade fun?
Bongo Bongo was quite a good boss. The thing that kinda creeped me out was when he went invisable. So, I eventually pulled out the Lense of Truth to discover that I was about to have my face ripped off!
Twinrova had to be the most comical boss, yet are also the only one that had a background (With the exception of Volvagia in the Manga). The two sisters, I just ran around confused until Navi helped me out. She may be "annoying," but she is helpful. Except on Ganon...and Volvagia...and a few others. I found it humorous when the sisters transformed into Twinrova and they almost flirt with Link (Wink at Link?), so he gets disgusted. "I'm sorry, but we're totally out of our leauges. You're 400, and I'm 17." It took me a few hearts to learn to absorb only one at a time... Then I killed them and laughed at the "death" scene. They are the only boss that doesn't get sent to the evil realm!

I clicked Phantom Ganon but I meant to vote for Bongo-Bongo. He made bounce in the air. He was pretty fun to beat. There was something that made him in even cooler boss though. I beat him in the Summer. I was playing on a portable DVD player in the car. I beat him and saved about a second before I was in a car accident. I was lucky that I was able to beat him and save in time because the DVD player broke in the accident.

Bongo Bongo.
The battle was cool, and there was a lot of build-up to the fight. It was also a very creepy creature, and then there was it's creepy "singing" during the battle.
I like Bongo Bongo so much, it's actually the villain of a fan story I came up with. Well, kinda. It's Bongo Bongo before he died and became Bongo Bongo.

The Twinrova fight was probably a favourite of mine, although I also liked fighting Bongo Bongo quite a bit.
Twinrova offered an interesting challenge, and was also a bit different from most of the other fights. I liked how there were multiple parts, such as reflecting the attacks, then rushing when they formed together to attack, I think that bit of added steps and difficulty made it more enjoyable.

Morpha! Stabbing it's heart with the hookshot was fun! Plus, I love the water temple themed dungeons.
Am I the only guy who found Barniade fun?
Definately not. Barinade was either my 3rd or 4th favourite.
Either Bongo Bongo or Twinrova take first place, each due to epic-ness in the battles. And Morpha is up for grabs for 3rd.

The funniest boss to fight for me was Barinade. I like using the boomerang and running around, love it.
It is not my favorite boss however.
The coolest bosses in the game are Bongo Bongo and Ganon "beast".
The hardest is Phantom Ganon and the most "magnificent" is Volvagia.
(A little bit out of topic but thatīs no problem I hope.)

I chose Barninade, using the boomerang there was really awesome, runnning around, timing it right, it was a very good boss fight, and suitable for area. Very wicked, I beat it on my first try though, which kinda made it less fun. So far, it is my favourite boss.

I have not beaten oot yet but I expected Bongo Bongo to win. Just by my friends and others telling me so. So when I see Twinrova I get more excited! Another boss to look foraward to! But I'm starting the Shadow Temple now and up until this point I thought that Barinade was the most fun. It was hard to beat at first but then became very easy but fun at the same time. I liked all of the steps you had to go through in order to kill it. Like you do against Majora's Mask. I've heard that is fun too.

My favoite bosses are tied between Ganon and Twinrova. Twinrova was awesome, as many have said, because you get to use the mirror shield. And I loved the whole fire and ice thing.
Ganon was so epic, just because it was the last boss you get to fight. And, I LOVED the music that played when you fought him. And the thunder and lightning and Zelda's screams made it more awesome :)

I think this is a three way tie between Volvagia, Bongo Bongo, and Twinrova. Volvagia was fun because using the Megaton Hammer in general is fun. Bongo Bongo and all bosses with the same concept (as there are many) always seem to be fun. I just like the one face - two hand concept. Twinrova was both epic and humorous at the same time. It's hilarious when they die.

My favorite boss from OoT would be King Dodongo. He is the boss that I have the most fun fighting in that game. :)
Twinrova is my favorite.I mean turning the sisters on each other and then they morph to form an awsome form of a boss and you then have to charge up fire and ice to hurt her...wow.

Volvagia has a certain nostalgic feel for me every time I go through the game again. There's something about playing Whack-a-Mole with a giant lava dragon. Plus the first time I was fighting him, he hit me down to one heart so I grabbed my milk, and he was just at the perfect angle when I drank it that Link was just drinking the milk there with Volvagia in the background with his head coming up just to the side of Link's head, and I totally think if you superimposed the words "Got Milk" onto the bottom of the screen it would've been the perfect poster for milk. It was friggin' awesome.

Phantom Ganon and Morpha are tied for the main bosses. Dark Link and maybe Nabooru were the best minibosses.

My favourite fight by far for looks and hardness was Volvagia, I thought it was cool how you learnt a little bit about him as well, Finding out that eats Goron's....etc.
I also think that was the coolest looking of the bosses, I just love Dragon's, If it is Dragon I like it once I see it, Much like that of TP's City in the Sky boss, Argorok (either that or Agrorok, I can't remember which, but overall I don't like him that much), He was an instant favourite boss for a while after I first saw him.
I also find Vovagia to be one of the hardest bosses in this game, I found him harder than Ganon at the very end. Morpha was the next challenge on how strong he was but I got under 1 heart against Volvagia. I kept a couple against Morpha.
The surrondings for Volvagia were also in my opinion much cooler than that of any other bosses surroundings, Only Ganon beats him for that, Even then it is quiet close to the Castle Ruins.

I had so many favourite bosses from that title, but I think I liked the Gohma battle the most. I absolutely hate spiders, so it's funny that I chose this one. If I get past the idea of it being spider-based, I just loved the reveal of the character, and the epic feeling that everything just got ramped up to a new level in the first 3-D Zelda game.
The dark moody surroundings were suitably creepy, and it was very satisfying to knock it off the ceiling and wail on it's single eye. The music was great as well, causing a very suitable level of frantic feelings.
Sure, it was an easy battle, and sure it was not the biggest of the bosses, but I still remember it the most.

I must admit all of the bosses in OOT are fun to play...
Gohma is a cool, yet very easy boos to fight. I'm kinda tired of fighting her over and over again, because the battle isn't even exciting when you beat her over 5 times...
King Dodongo is another easy boss, but it's a very creative one. I think it was a little hard to figure out how to stun him, but then, it became a piece of cake...
Barinade is an exciting boss fight, you have to run all the time while throwing a boomerang to it's body to stun it. Cool, cool fight .
Phantom Ganon is a very fun boss fight, yet hard when you fight him for the first time (I must admit I lost around 5 times when the first day I fought him).
Volvagia is a very repetitive fight, a very easy boss, kinda fun, and it also reminds you to the Whack-A-Mole game.
Morpha is a hard boss fight when you first fight him/her (I don't know its sex, if he has one...). I'm glad I beated it on my second try... a great battle, I think I'll never get tired of it.
Bongo Bongo it's a fun battle, especially because you play on a drum. Kinda hard when you only have the 30 arrows quiver (I finished with one arrow! 0_0).
Tiwnrova is a very easy battle, but repetitive, and you kinda get bored when waiting to both sorcerers sisters to throw magic.
Ganon is a piece of cake, not that fun, and it's strange that you can kill a final boss with almost every weapon.
However, GANONDORF is a medium-ish battle (I must admit it's phantom is harder...), and an exciting and fun one. So my vote would go to ganondorf as my favorite boss of OOT.

My favorite boss has to be Phantom Ganon. I just loved the portrait concept. Then you could get a little of the sphere-countering battle before fighting the real Ganondorf. The Forest Temple was my favorite temple, so my favorite boss is Phantom Ganon.
I liked Twinrova too. I loved how you could counter their attacks back to them with the mirror shield. The little discussion they have when you beat them is funny.
I prefer Phantom Ganon though, the shooting thing was better for me.

I really love Bongo Bongo, it was so fun to fight against him. He drums the whole battle and was kind of ''singing'' the whole time. Sometimes he moves his hands to fast, and shooting his eye was the most annoying part for me.
Twinrova was fun too, i like the second half where she's that nice woman. In general the whole reflect system was very nice. I had only problems with the first half, everytime i reflect the other sorcerer is already gone from my screen. But it was a nice battle. Second half was also epic, charging the element 3 times and slay her down.
But the real challenge was Volvagia, Man if he/she hits you with it's fiery breath you lose 3 hearth or maybe more. I talk about the beginning with Volvagia, now i have trick to beat it. It was fun hammering it on it's head. If it hit me i was nearly death, i did like 20 times maybe. The holes where sometimes really confusing, it change from hole to hole 5 times if it's nearly down. I love this Dragon, but in general i really love Dragons. Volvagia was in the past a great challenge, now all the bosses are really simple.

I was suprised at how hard it was for me to decide on my favorite boos from OoT. :P
However, after much thought, I have decided that Bongo-Bongo is my favorite boss from OoT.
First of all I like the environment you fight him in, a giant drum surounded by a sea of acid. It is a very weird boss room, when I had first fallen into the room I had imediately thought of the scene in The Nightmare Before Christmas where Jack fights the Oogie Boogie Man.
Of course, after seeing giant hands beating on the drum this image vanished, but I still see subtle similarities between Oogie's Lair and this boss room, probobly because both rooms were just plain weird in their design. :P
As for the actual boss battle, it has always been the most difficult boss fight in the game for me. I relish this difficulty though, because after replaying OoT a few times this is the only boss than can still be fatal for me.
I also think that this fight was just plain cool. After all what could be cooler than fighting a giant invisible shadow creature, while standing on a giant drum, while it's playing the drum? :nerd:

Gohma was way too easy...
Dodongo's attack patterns seriously predictable...
Barinade's erratic movments too frustrating...
Phantom Ganon reminded me of art class...
Volvagia seemed like a Whak-A-Mole game...
Morpha was a big, blue chuchu
Koume and Kotake were overrated...
Ganondorf was a disapointment...
BONGO BONGO FOR THE WIN! I love his commitment. As soon as he was freed from the well, his first move was to speed off to his temple. He toys with you the whole fight by keeping a steady beat most of the time. He was constantly consuming magic thanks to the Lens of Truth. There are other reasons, but I dislike wasting time. Even the time it took you to read this could've been spent trying to make it through the Shadow Temple without using the lense of truth...

My favorite boss would have to be Twinrova. There are several reasons, but I have to admit that part of it is finally getting to fight the witches you see in the game's intro movie.
Also, it's one of the best uses of the Mirror Shield I've ever seen in a Zelda game. In LttP, it just blocked lasers. In WW, it was only really used to reflect Light Arrows, but that wasn't as impressive. I don't think it's even used in later games. :(
Finally, I suppose I enjoy the two-phase fight. I know Ganon has two phases as well, but his don't flow together quite as well. Later games overdo it with the 4-6 phase fights, and earlier titles tended to only have one phase. This is one of the things that Ocarina got right.
Anyway, here's the list in order of preference:
1. Twinrova
2. Ganondorf
3. Barinade
4. Phantom Ganon
5. Gohma
6. Bongo Bongo
7. Ganon
8. Volvagia
9. Morpha

I actually loved the last fight Ganon. He was pretty hard and love the cutscenes where you stab him. But 2nd place would be... Bongo Bongo. Twin Rova was fun, because of the cutscene but it wasn't challenging enough in my opinion. Far to easy!
Bongo Bongo.
- He was fun to fight.
- He looked awesome.
- Probably the hardest boss in the game.
- So satisfying when you do beat him!
Volvagia. Cool, challenging, 'cute'.
As to the others, most were retarded, like Queen Gohma, killed in less than 2 minutes and a half.
Barinade was hard, complicated, and so was Morpha. Bongo-Bongo was somewhat 'hard'.

Phantom Shadow Beast: Bongo Bongo.
I love that name XD
He was my favorite boss throughout the game, probably one of the most difficult bosses in that game aside from Ganondorf. I loved the battle. The battlefield being a drum is what made it unique. He was the only boss to almost make me use a fairy because he knocked me off the drum.

My favorite Boss in OoT depends on my mood.
If I'm happy my favorite boss is Twinrova. Those two hags were evil and had the look of the classic witch look, but they have that look to show off their mighty magic of Ice and Fire. And when those two combined, that's where the fun begins, reflecting their own powers makes me happy to beat them! And I got to see a funny scene at the end of their fight.
If I'm mad, Ganon is my favorite. I vent my anger on that beast form of his, to end his reign and to beat the crud out of him. He's evil. That's ALL the reason I need to beat him and vent my anger upon.
If I'm playful, cheery, careful and sarcastic, then Morpha appears. I like to play with that gelatinous beast. It's fun to lure it into a corner and slash like a madman. It makes the boss battle end quickly and more rewarding. Though I get carried away and let my guard down, this is also where I got a few "game overs" in OoT.
If I'm scared, Bongo Bongo. That boss creeped the **** right out of me. He's big, has disembodied hands, can make an ominous beat while beat you while he is invisible. Though beating him without using the Lens of Truth is more challenging, and terrifying, I prefer to do it. I never know what will happen, nor will I know when he will strike me.

Great Evil King Ganondorf. I love fighting Ganondorf in both this game and in TP because in both you get to show off all the things you've learned during the game, which is the basis of any boss battle, but still I love it!
