First of all: type correctly, second, you should have given a describing name to the thread, and third, the main site has walkthroughs, you know?

-Renamed the topic

As for Wind Waker on the site. That is our weakest section and the walkthrough we have is really hold, plain text, and overall its just not.... that good.

I'm not sure about your first problem, but there definitely is no door on the Islet of Steel.

The fish often refer to the Triforce as the "Golden Triumph Forks", because they don't exactly know its name. So the fish around Outset is talking basically about the Triforce pieces which are scattered throughout the ocean.

What happened is that this game takes thousands of years after OoT. People have passed the legend of the Triforce so much, that some people have got something different rather than the Triforce, but the Tri-Forks. Kinda like the game of Telephone (Speak one word at the start of a line of people, and try to get it down without messing up the statement).

I have never seen a door on the Isle of steel, although I forget which Island that is.

Actually, it was stated by Eiji Aonuma that the game takes place about 100 years after OoT. But yeah basically everyone just kinda seemed to not be concerned with the Triforce as much. And the people who are relatively new to the world in this game probably heard about the treasure and didn't particularly pay good attention to the story about the relic. Therefore, they just went looking for it without knowing its real name, just going by what they thought it sounded like.

The intro to WW tells first of OoT. When Link gets sent back in time, he shatters the Triforce. When he's living his childhood seven years earlier, Ganondorf comes back. The people of Hyrule prayed for Link to return, but he didn't/couldn't. So the 3 godesses flooded Hyrule to stop Ganondorf. What was left were the tops of the highest mountains, A.K.A the islands.

So it's around 100/200 years after OoT. Hope that helps somehow... ^^
