I'm trying to get into some manga. I've read Azumanga Daioh, volume 3 from my friend, and it was pretty good, but random.
Now for Christmas I'm asking for the Negima! series manga. It looks good to me.

The only manga I've read was Fruits Basket and Tokyo Mew Mew.
I'm not too interested in either anime or manga, but I have been while growing up.
I'll be honest, the only Manga I've ever read was a boring Full Metal Alchemist. Well I did read some of Death Note in a hotel room once but it wasn't mine.

Unfortunately I didn't get the Negima! manga for Christmas, but I may buy them myself.
I also may get the mangas to a bunch of other shows, like Shakugan no Shana, Azumanga Daioh, and others.
I've only ever read part of one volume of Death Note. Manga really isn't my style.

I really like manga. I like Fruits Basket, Time Guardians, Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece, and Bleach. Also a few others. No one in my school reads manga really, its like they all have a manga reading disability! The only person I know who likes and reads manga is my best friends 19 year old sister.... Lets just say it gives us something to talk about...

I'm a grand old Trigun and Trigun Maximum fan. I recently completed my collection (the final volume was just realised in English). Amazing story, but I did have some problems with it (mostly, some of the really endless fight scenes and the way the mangaka drew them, it was difficult to tell what was going on for much of them). I really wished Nightow would have stuck with "more philosophy less badass macho fighting" - not that the badass macho fighting was bad, it just would have bee nicer for me if it came in smaller doses, interspersed with more of the philosophical stuff that really *makes* Trigun.
I got to be a fan because of the anime, but the manga has its benefits, - really cool characters such as Livio the Doublefang. Livio was just plain awesome.
Anyway, I have the first two volumes of the original Trigun, then all 14 volumes of Trigun Maximum (same series, name chaned because of a Japanese publishing rights issue). I even have a few volumes in Japanese, though I do not know how to read Japanese, and one of these volumes has been autographed by mangaka Nightow himself.
I have a few other mangas floating around.... from where I'm setting, looking at my bookshelf, I see one of the volumes of Osamu Tezuka's "Phoenix" that I have. I only have the first two volumes of that... I believe it's something like 12 or 14 volumes, all seperate stories, and the series was never finished because Tezuka died before he could... I have the first three volumes of his "Adolf" series (great if you like Historical drama)... I have the whole first series of "Petshop of Horrors"...
I have quite a bit of manga, but my only truly complete series is Trigun/Trigun Maximum. When I was low on money, my manga money went to that because I'm a dedicated fan.

Oh how I love manga. I know, my dad reminds me of how silly it is of me to like it so much; but some things just can't be helped.
I recently finished Absolute Boyfriend, I didn't really like the ending, but the whole series was great other than that.
Right now I'm working my way through:
Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, Vampire Knight (still, lol), After School Nightmare, and Shugo Chara.

I've read some X-1999, Some LoZ Mangas, Fake, Chrno Crusade, Boys Next Door...
I've liked okay what I've read so far, though it has been always because someone else I know is into it and lend me some material and that's where I start.
Chrno Crusade is the only one I wanted yo collect by my own will.

I haven't started reading much manga until recently. I used to read a little Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto and Death Note before that, but mostly over my sister's shoulder. I pretty much just watched anime.
Recently I have begun borrowing manga at my library, and have been loving it. The plots generally seem to be so much better.
Currently reading Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, and Bandit Jing: Twilight Tales. Don't like Jing so much, but I love the other three. ^^
naruto bleach and one piece are nice.........so is hitman reborn

In terms of manga, I of course have read the classic Azumanga Daioh (and own it) in its entirety. My mother, when visiting South Korea on a business trip, ended up buying me a hentai light novel translated into Korean without knowing it had pornographic images inside it (thanks mom....?). Hah. I enjoy Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and its satirical content. Its description of the meaning on the universe was rather beautiful (and included a small chibi of Kim Jong-il, labeled "Dear Leader," he's an inescapable truth of the universe!)
I have some Japanese Zelda manga, which is pretty neat but not exactly a good example of a manga having a deep story. Today, I read Animal Farm in its entirety (not a manga but its impact and meaning is so great I had to mention it), and began reading 20th Century Boys (which is a manga). I would greatly recommend 20th Century Boys. It's very non-linear though, so if you don't want to think when you read a manga, it may not be for you, but it's good.

I read manga online. Now I'm reading Fairy Tail and following Narutard. I tried Bleach but I just hate the story too much. I'm not gonna say that I didn't approve of shirtless!Kenpachi in the latest chapter though.
My favorite manga of all time evar is definitely Deadman Wonderland.

I have some of the zelda manga I bought at my Borders. I have OoT Parts 1 and 2, FSA Part 1,and MM.
I'd highly recommend Hunter x Hunter (or just Hunter). It's a great story, truly good.
Death Note is nice, I like it very much, and I don't think you have to be a big manga fan to enjoy it.

I'm a novice manga fan, as my cousin calls it. |D; I haven't read enough manga to call myself a true 'fan', and I never watch anime. Ever. I can't stand it. -pelted with tomatoes-
The manga I'm reading currently is Bleach by Tite Kubo, which I love. <3
I've read all of the Cardcaptor Sakura, and some of Full Metal Alchemist, Lucky Star, Naruto, the Legend of Zelda and Tsubasa. :1

AH Manga, the kind of things I love, almost like Anime :D
I read some Mangas too, Like Sekirei, Ikkitousen, To Love Ru, Kampfer, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, Rosario + Vampire, Pokemon Adventures and many more. Though some mangas I read are not meant for youngsters below 15. So I won't ask you to look at them, but read some Pokemon Adventures Manga. Or the Zelda Mangas. They are not canon but they sure provide entertainment :)

I started reading manga recently, my favorite is a random relatively unknown series called Bitter Virgin, which, despite being rather unsettling and borderline disturbing, is incredibly well-written. I've also read some volumes of Death Note and Bleach. I tried reading Fruits Basket but I think I was reading a poorly translated copy or something because it made very little sense. Honestly, though, I tend to hunt down the anime if it exists. Manga can be difficult to read at times, and it isn't just the right-to-left thing. Panels cut through each other, speech bubbles overlap but aren't spoken by the same person, random words float through space.... it's nothing I can't handle, but it can be taxing.

I love manga!!:xd:
When I was 5, I started reading manga instead of those boring abc books. Now, it's became a very important part of my life. Love Naruto, Bleach, FMA, Tsubasa Chronicles, One Piece, Death Note,........
If oneday, manga and games disappear, maybe I'll die.
