Mine is Farewell Hyrule King. I absolutely love this song. It's very moving and I can listen to it over and over again. Molgera battle and Outset Island come after FHK. Wind Waker had such an amazing soundtrack.

I really adore the staff credit theme of WW and I've listened to it enough for it to be second in my top 25 XD. It's so soothing and happy to listen to; it really does put a wee smile on my face.

I'm planning on replaying WW soonish so maybe I'll have a few more choices to edit in afterwards and with a bit more detail as to why I like them :P

I really enjoyed the Ocean Theme, and Farewell Hyrule King [which is indeed the song from Hyrule Castle in AlttP]. I also liked the ending theme, it's probably my favourite in the game. It's between that and The Legendary Hero.

Runners up would probably be the Dragon Roost Island theme, the opening theme (where it explains the history of Hyrule and whatnot,) and the song it plays whenever Laruto (that dead Zora sage) appears; it was so sad but beautiful. Then again, it was essentially a remix of the opening theme.

The one that comes to mind whenever I think about the game is Outset's music. I don't know if I would call it the best, but its definitely the most recognizable. I liked the theme in Hyrule Castle, just because it was so high and royal, and lost sounding.

I loved Molgera battle as well. The piano version was not liked by my piano teacher though because she tought the notes clashed. I also liked the great sea and the final battle with ganondorf. But not as much as I like Morudo Geira.

I'll be the first one to tell you I wasn't super duper impressed with many of the tracks. Right now, I only remember about four, because many of the were just plain forgettable. And out of those four, I only like one. Some people above mentioned that Hyrule King whatever song. I hated that. I much prefer the ALttP Castle Theme. It sounds evil and menacing, that your on top of the source of where all the trouble is. Then WW made it some kind of slow goodbye song between the King and Link, which I didn't like at all. I remember the Outset Island theme, mainly because I had to listen to it so much at the beginning. It was good, but not something that made me stand in one place and listen to it for a while like the Song of Healing in the clock in MM, or the Temple of Time theme in OoT/TP. Of course, how could I forget the Sea theme? So annoying......so many times...... same thing over and over........ugh.

I will end this post of a positive note though. I loved the Dragon Roost theme, There's a reason why it's featured in Brawl. I actually stood on the island and listened to it because it was so memorable. They really needed more areas like Dragon Roost in that game, because it's the only peace of music in WW I can say I truly loved and enjoyed.

There are a few songs in WW that I enjoyed. My favorite song in WW is the opening theme. I like to listen to it when i'm bored or feeling down, it sounds bright and colorful, like the world in WW. ^^

I also enjoyed the Molgera battle theme, sometimes I avoid killing the boss just so I can listen to the music longer. Oh, and I love the mini-boss music, I would always try and time my attacks just right so it matched the music better. :nerd:

Overall I thought most of the music in WW was good. However there was one song I never really liked that much, and it was the backround music for The Forsaken Fortress. I just found it dull and gray, much like the rest of the fortress. :tired:

There are some fantastic themes in the game, including the oepning story, Dragon Roost Island, and Molgera battle, but I think the best was the new piano rendition of the Hyrule Castle theme used at the end of the game when the King is speaking to Link and Zelda - "Farewell, Hyrule King". It's just fantastic. It's very sad yet powerful at the same time. Even though it's done with MIDI, it's very well done and almost feels like it's actually played on a true piano.

Yes, it may be a cover of an older theme, but it's a well done and welcome one!

I enjoyed the Tower of The Gods, well after playing the game a few more times.
Why is Molgera battle so popular? I was actually annoyed when the track was in Brawl. ;x The whole theme of Molgera was a little bit annoying.
I love the great Sea theme though and Dragon Roost, both are amazing to return in Brawl, but the Molgera Battle. :x

Speak about Jalhalla, Jalhalla's battle was just epic specially the second fight in Ganon's Tower. I love the last battle with Ganondorf too, his theme always come back with a brand new tune, i enjoyed it.
The Hyrule Castle was a nice calm tune, finally something from LttP that return in a Zelda Game.
but i have to say WW soundtrack was not better than MM/OOT though.

The best music for me on WW would be Farewell King, the Opening Title song, Hyrule Castle, and the Hero of Winds. (There's probably a few others I missed, but I'm not sure.)

Anyway, I loved the Farewell King song because of it's simplicity and the dark tone to it. It made me want to cry. :( The Opening Title song is included in my favorites because of the happiness it radiates. Hyrule Castle gives off (similar as to what DL01 said) a sense of royalty and the Hero of Winds is awesome too by how it gives off a sense of triumph. :)

For me, the staff credits theme. It's a great remix of a lot other music in the game. Also, Dragon Roost Theme and the sailing theme are good, no matter how many people are tired of hearing the sailing one. I still love it.:)

My favorite is EASILY the Helmorac King battle. TWW had some pretty awesome music as a whole, especially boss music, including the miniboss music. And it also had some of the best final boss music in the whole series, the Ganondorf fight was one of my favorites. Of course, Dragon Roost Island is a general favorite, it seems, and I agree with most people that that's a pretty cool theme, along with most of the other music in TWW.

Legendary Hero is just. Epic. Especially with the tapestry-like images. It really captures the feel of an old, dusty, yet powerful tale.

But my absolute favourite is probably the medley of the Wind God's Aria and the Earth God's Lyric that plays on the title screen. The Great Sea BGM was great and all, but I would have enjoyed sea travel so much more had this song been used instead. And I didn't even like the sea travel aspect that much. It just gets me really pumped for adventure.

Well first of all, I must say, WW is the best Zelda Soundtrack ever to exist. In my opinion. But my favorite song was Makar's song. I can't believe I can't remember the name. But anyways, that was a great duet with Link and Makar. Also, I love the song that the game plays whenever you beat a temple boss. I don't know if you would count it a song, but it's still really cool. My favorite boss battle music is Molgera.

I really like Lake Hylia's music in TP, it was nice to hear a new song that was done well. Its just so relaxing and dreamy like the lake itself.

My fav is like Earthtemple, is the theme that plays in the background in the beginning of the game. It really made me happy, and it made me think that that one theme along with the remix of the Mario theme from Super Mario Sunshine really show the epicness of music in a game.

That's a really difficult decision for me. Wind Waker and Majora's Mask have my favorite tunes in Zelda. The ones I can think of right now are the Molgera Battle, Dragon Roost, Great Sea, Opening title, Legendary Hero and Wind Fall!

I like these cause they're catchy! ... If only zelda had Megadeth during battles... oh well one can dream can't he :lol:

This is really a hard one. It is so many good songs in WW.

The best must be Ocean Theme, especially the Ocean Redux version made by Zelda Reorchestrated!!
Other good songs are: Dragon Roost Island, Farewell Hyrule King, and Molgera Battle.

I wil also say the WW has the best overall soundtrack :)

Context is important to me when considering background music. When Link goes to awaken Makar, the Korok is practicing a song. Considering how big of a role music already played in that scene, the song needed to stand out on its own. And I think it does (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txwo3xO1nA4). The ocean's theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gN_x1rpGbY8) has a different challenge; especially in the beginning, when you can't do a lot, it's going to be one of the main elements of the scene that people notice, but it also needs to match the mood for when you're exploring. It's also very uplifting and encouraging, which befits Link's personality. It could have been more suspenseful and mysterious for a different game and protagonist, but Link holds (or will hold) the Triforce of Courage. He needs something that indicates bravery and an eagerness to seek out adventure.

The Hyrule Castle theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7te9iZcczc) is a good contrast. It adds to the atmosphere; it's solemn, mysterious, a bit foreboding even. It's regal, while at the same time I feel a sense of lost history while listening to it. And it has to do all that when actually, it's probably not what catches your attention in that scene - the discovery of Hyrule Castle with all those monsters seemingly frozen in time is what struck me about the scene. The music helps make the moment, but it's not the focus of it. That, too, is good music.

I absolutely adored the Hyrule Castle theme! :D It was a brilliant remake of the ALttP version, and it fitted the mood perfectly. It was sad, but regal in a way.

Another theme I adored was Windfall Island. The upbeat tones combined with the fruitful residents and significance of the island to the plot makes it a great fit. :)

This game has some of the best music in the series! My first thought would be Dragon Roost Island, or either of the sage awakening songs. However I think the best music in the game has to be the battle music when you fight a mini-boss (like the knight in Tower of the Gods, or the Stalfos in the Earth temple). I don't know why that music appeals to me so much (and you can't even listen to it that long) but it has to be the best.
