Spin Attack

Well you all probably know about the spin attack, it is basically when Link spins his sword 360 degrees. It was definitly deserving of it's own thread. I have used it so many times with so many designs. It was certainly my favorite sword technique. So, tell me what you think of the spin attack and which one was your favorite.

My favorite was the Great Spin Attack from Twilight Princess. It was so strong and detailed. Well, what was your favorite?

My favorite spin attack was the great spin in Phantom Hourglass. Other than that I don't really use any of the spin attacks in other games at all.

I'm not really a fan of the spin attack.

I don't think that the spin attack was my favourite of sword attacks, I liked the "Drawing attack" from Twilight Princess along with a few others.

My favourite is probably either the spin attack from OoT, I liked the option of bothing being able to move and controling the charge. I also liked the "Hurricane Spin", from the Wind Waker, even if it was a little "over the top", it was still fun.

Hurricane Spin should have been Toon Link's Final Smash in Brawl.

Definitely the Hurricane Spin from The Wind Waker. It is really fun to do. Most cases it doesn't help. But it really comes in handy during the boss battle in the Earth Temple.

I like the spin attack from Twilight Princess, the little chink noise it makes when its activated is simply awesome.

The Hurricane Spin from The Wind Waker was fun.

But overall I'd have to say Twilight Princess's was the greatest.

I liked the one in Ocarina of Time the most. The Hurricane spin wasn't the most usefull sword technique, but it was fun to use. And like Matt said, it was very helpful against Jalhalla.

My favorite spin attack was either the great spin attack from TP or Minish Cap. I liked how in Minish Cap you could spin for a while like a tornado.

Great Spin Attack from MC. 'Twas the best. I didn't like PH/WW's Tornado Spin, because they left you stunned at the end. And also, with MC, if you do the Great Spin Attack when you have 3 other copies, it's terribly deadly.

The Great Spin Attack from the Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass were my favorite (so far).

The hurricane spin in the windwaker is my favourite. I always liked cutting large fields of grass with it.

I really liked the great spin attack in Minish Cap. i probably would say Twilight Princess but I haven't gotten it yet.

OMG same here, my fave is also the hurricane spin from WW. But to think thats also someone else used the hurricane spin during the boss battle in the earth temple! :blank:

I also use it for fun fighting against multiply darknuts!
If link charges his spin attack, then so does the darknuts. Kinda like a one hit spin attack duel xD.

But the most handy spin attack of all titles would be the quick spin in MM and TP!
in MM, if you got the great spin attack, and you do a quick spin! damn the quick spin has still got the same reach as the great spin attack!

And in TP! well i don 't know about the GC version how you preform the spin attack there. ( i asume still turning a 360 analog stick and then sword button)

But man it was really handy with the Wii version, just shake nunchuck in one directions and voila! I really used it alot in TP!

Yeah that is one way. The other is to press and hold the B button then release. Just as in the classic ones.

In TP (Wii), I found the Spin attack quite useful because of it's easy use. In most games I would not use the spin attack because it was hard to do the spin attack and it killed your contoller after a while. To just skake the Nunchuck was too easy! Thought it was really fun. So, I can see why you used it so much in TP.

My favorite Spin Attack is the one in FSA. When you are in cross formation and the four Links do a the spin attack all together, that is cool and very strong too. The Hurricane Spin in WW was great too. :D

I liked the sheer force behind the one in TP, along with that satisfying "Shink!" noise it makes when it's ready to execute. Link's more powerful shout when it's happening is cool as well.

I also like the one I believe was in PH where you kind of go crazy and get dizzy in the end. I found it amusing.
