The title is self explainatory...
I never buy bad games, but i was a little embaressed when I bought Freshly-Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland... Yes, you've heard it right, I've bought, I've beaten it and i found out it's great

Nothing! ^^
I'm not embarassed by any of my games.... and none are really all that bad.
The closest would probably be Pokemon Snap though, but at the time, it was amazing (and technically I got it for Christmas).

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire (NGC): It destroyed what made part 2 and 3 good. I really hate it.

Spiderman (NGC): it was boring and some levels were weird.

Freddy Fish and the mystery of the lost seaweed seeds (PC): do i have to explain :p. the sequals are a lot better.

Nintendogs (NDS): what's fun about having a dog in a boring room. i don't get it.

None that I can think of. Though I might be a little embarassed about buying a new Pokemon game. Which I've thought about doing.

I've rented a few bad games in my time but I'm pretty good about avoiding absolutely terrible games.

The worst game I have ever played though was Home Improvement on the SNES. Yes that Home Improvement. With Tim Allen.

The worst game I got was a PS2 game called Gift. However, this was a free game thrown in by the shop we bought our PS2 from because the games we bought along with it had no CDs in their cases. In any case, it was ****ty and it was confusing as hell, so we traded it in for a better game.

The worst game I bought, however, was another PS2 game called Duel Masters, based on the card game. It was oooooooold, and the whole gameplay got repetitive and bad.

Come to think of it, there were a few N64 games that I forgot about. Star Fox 64 for one. I started playing again (after having not playing it for years) it for fun last year and realized just how corny and annoying the comments were in that game. I mean the stuff that Slippy, Peppy, Star Wolf, and all of them. So I would get a little embarassed when someone would walk in.

I think the game I'm embarrassed about having once owned is Superman for N64. If any of you remember that game, I'm sure you know my pain.
I also am kind of embarassed to have bought so many Zelda games despite the fact that they're great. I guess it's kind of a weird feeling when you buy something because it has a Zelda label on it. If they make a new game and place the word Zelda in it, I'm buying it. There's no doubt, I'm that much of a Zelda geek. Which makes me super excited for the future of Zelda, but looking back, I've hardly ever got any info on the game before I got it, and most of the time I just know the title.
Other than that, I think I mostly don't get embarrassed about my games.

Considering how much butt Star Fox 64 kicks, I think you can forgive it for having cheesy dialogue.

I don't really care about the cheesy dialogue. I can look past that. It's the weird looks and comments I got from my dad and my older sister that bugged me.

I think it was one called the Shrek game or something stupid like that. I got it because I kinda quick had to get one, and I played it, and bout 4 minutes later I put it down and haven't played it in about 2-3 years.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for Game Boy Advance. I thought it would be good. But it absolutely sucked! The graphics were appalling. No where near as good as the previous GBA Harry Potter games.

Probably Rescue: The Embassy Mission.

It's an old NES game I picked up at a used store a few years back. Ugh. I actually enjoy the other NES games I have... not that one...

Or Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone on the PS1. Another bad game...

Playing Harry Potter 1 on the computer is quite embarrasing. That kid screams out 'Flipendo' if you use that spell (awful dutch voice) and if my dad hears it he always keeps saying it constantly. but instead of Flipendo my dad says nintendo :xd:. It's so embarrasing hearing my dad scream out "NINTENDO" each time Harry Potter says 'flipendo' again :p

Well i never bought a game to be embarassed about but, i have one game that i really regreted that i even bought it. So yeah in a other way its embarrasing for myself that i even bought that stupid game

That would be: Transformers the Game
The game has only a couple of stupid mission. the only fun part was to create chaos in the cities (outside the missions), and after a while, even that gets boring.
Never ever will i buy games based from a movie. -.-

Geting a Pokemon game (Pokemon Puzzle Leauge. It isn't bad, it is actually a really good, challenging puzzle game. You should try it out for the N64, and I believe it is for the VC.), then telling my friends about it, when in High School! I am in the Generation where Pokemon was no longer "in" on the year 2005. I say to those, no offence to those on here who think otherwise, screw you! The TV shows might be bad, but the RPG's and the Stadiums (not Battle Revolution, that was nasty due to the lack of freedom you had in Stadium) were/are really good. You can tell in Diamond and Pearl they are starting to run out of ideas.

The lord of the Rings!

Good god, its like they HATED Tolkien and set out to make the worst game possible.

Sometimes a good movie game will come out, but sadly it seems to not be very often. I heard the Chronicles of Rid**** game was really good, though.

most recint? Torak... that dinosaur shoting game.
The new one? Oh gawd. I started hating that game the second I found out about the premise and storyline. I loved the original Turoks on the N64, and when I played Turok Evolution on the GC, it pissed me off so much... >_<

Anyway, my most embarrassing game would probably be Rescue: The Embassy Mission on the NES. I picked it up at a used store for less than five bucks (in fact, it might have been only one or two bucks,) and it STILL wasn't worth the money.

Smitie
12-26-2008, 03:11 PM
Turok evolution can be fun...if you use the infinitive health cheatcode combined with the unlimited ammo code :p.

But I found another worse game. Extreme ghostbusters for the GBC. At first it looks fun but after 5 missions the backgrounds start to look very familiar. Each level is almost the same and I never found out why I finished a level. I only catched some pixels that always looked the same -.-.
I have 15 of those annoying codes you have to write up when a level ends and the game still isn't finished.

OK, I'll just say it for everyone: Games from Movies Suck!
I tried Happy Feet, and it was totally pointless. There are only three things that you can do:

1.Race on your gut down a randomly high mountian.
2.Swim to catch fish and hearts you never use.
3.Dance in a DDR style, but only with Wii Remote movements. The dancing was pointless. Half the time, move up didn't even work.

You do have some good movie games (StarWars, anyone?), but a lot are a load of B.S. (Really? Do they really need a game for any Dreamworks movies?).

The most embarrasing games I bought are the zelda CD-i games with the sony CD

It was actually Phillips who made the CD-i.

The worst game I ever bought was definitely Splinter Cell for the DS. Me and my mom were in Lexington (big city in Kentucky), and she was getting her hair done. Right across the street there was a Gamestop in some shopping centers, so I walked over and had a look around, and found this game. It was already used if I remember correctly, but still costed bout 30 bucks considering it hadn't been out long at all. I looked at the back of the box and though "Hey this is cool, its in 3D. Maybe it will show the real power of the DS." I was definitely wrong.

The game lagged, and cartridges shouldn't lag. It was soooo freakin slow. And when I finally got to where I wanted to be, I couldn't figure out what to do. After buying the game and going back to the car to set and play it for maybe 10 minutes, I took it straight back and got a refund. I flat out told the dude working that the game was completely horrible. So, I owned and sold the game within roughly 20 minutes.

Ugh! I hate people like that! Everyone in my school always said that Pokemon is stupid and anyone who plays it is stupid. Meanwhile the little idiots are being scammed by trading card companies that sprang up over night! My best friend also has horrible taste in games. But I mostly blame that on him never owning a Nintendo console! I mean, Halo? Come on people, its SO overrated!

Anywho, back on topic.

Acme Arsenal. Never ever ever even think about thinking about buying this game. I bought it, thinking it would be fun, played about two levels, never touched it again. I suppose I'll trade it at my Gamestop...

There have been four games that I regret buying:

Sonic and the Secret Rings ~ The controls are absolutely terrible, made it pretty much unplayable. Party Mode is pretty fun though.

Catz ~ Don't ask me what was going through my mind when I purchased that shovelware. It was so boring. This was also the game that made me realize that I hate virtual pets, because I neglect them.

Nintendogs ~ Pretty much the same reason as above for Catz, I am terrible with virtual pets.

Mall Tycoon 3 ~ I should have stuck with Rollercoaster Tycoon, which is still fun to play today. I just couldn't get into this game.

The worst game i ever bought must be the silver surfer for Nes.
Horrible game. I bought it week ago.
This explains it's terriblenes:

Silver Surfer is regarded as an extremely hard game for these reasons:

* Silver Surfer can only take one hit before dying.
* Most of the game's enemies take multiple hits to kill.
* Silver Surfer dies upon touching any obstruction in the level, compounded by the fact that his board is large and open areas are very small.
* Most of the time Silver Surfer is being attacked by large numbers of enemies coming from all directions.
* In some levels, it can be hard to tell what bits of scenery are obstructions.
* Whenever Silver Surfer dies, he has to restart the level from either the start or a checkpoint.

And top of that, every level has tons of enemies.

2)E.T.(Atari 2600)- One of the WORST GAMES EVER MADE The game is boring, it makes no sence and to boot you cant get out of the stupid holes (If you've played it, you would know what I mean)
3) Mansion of Hidden Souls (Sega CD)- Its a weird game. Thats all I gotta say about that.

Yep thats why they burried most of the copies somwhere im not 100% sure but I think it was New Mexico. There was just not enough time for them to program a good game. I think it was about HALF the time they had to program it then a normal Atari 2600 game, and they made like double the copies of a normal 2600 game.I have 3 wrods to discribe that. Happy Feet for the Gamecube. Orz.

It was my mom's idea, she kept bringing it up and it was near Christmas time. So I just went along with it and said "It would be cute to play at least", and surprise: I got it that Christmas. D:

A few weeks later I got sick, so I decided I might as well play it. I can't even begin to explain what a horrible game it was.. @_@ It was basically, the same 3 level designs used over and over, without any increase in difficulty, with different landscapes.. which is not saying much considering the local.

There was belly sliding levels, These underwater levels where you had to swim threw air bubbles to stay alive (Painfully difficult because if you missed even one, you didn't have enough to get to the next one. x_x), and basically a poorly ripped off controller version of DDR. D:

So to top that all off.. I beat it in about an hour, and keep in mind I was trying to take it slow so I could try and "enjoy" it.

Going back to what I told my mom, it looks like it would be cute to play. It wasn't. The graphics, the voice acting (if I remember right, they aren't even the same as they are in the film?), just everything. It blows my mind that they couldn't properly intemperate a CG animated movie even in the least bit. x_x;

Besides that though.. I usually try and find the good in all my games. D= Even if it wasn't what I was expecting, there's usually some value of game playing. Sadly there was absolutely none to be found in Happy feet... at least I got a cute Mumble plushie out of it? ; ^;''

I'm going to have to go with Guitar Hero: On Tour.
I was in need of a new DS, so I got the Guitar Hero DS with GH: OT.
I liked the DS with the Guitar Hero logo, but The controls are really dumb and hard to use, and the strumming was very unreliable.

I also had bought some Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents stuff when I was like 9/10, but they're..... mildly entertaining. Seriously.

Uh, it really isn't any worse than most Atari games.

So, worst game I've ever bought?

Don't have one.

I make sure that before I get a game that it's fun and playable. I have several games that have generally low scores on the internet, but I still like them because I don't allow the media to brainwash my look on things, so that I can have an opinion.

But if I have to, the worst game I've ever bought was Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron.

Actually, I didn't even buy it. It was a requested Christmas gift. But still, yeah.

It's actually not so bad, but it's more like a SWB mini-game then anything else.

Yep, that's sorta like my story, minus the whole playing due to illness, and I have it for the Wii. The Wii version's graphics, the N64 could probabally render! Voice acting was not even close. The plot of the game was no where near the movie (Isn't that in every movie game). It was pretty much a game that needed to be trashed before it was released. I mean, there was only one good level out of it, and the rest are repeats.

I completely agree with you. I think the creators of GH are milking it way too much, and it's starting to get old with me. This "portable" version is easily the worst game in the franchise. The pick was slipping out of my hand, so I had to use my finger which resulted in a scratched up touch screen.-.-

I bought Gilligan's Island for the NES when it was new because my sister at the time as a fan of the show. I remember no one had it, and I had to order it through a video game specialty shop. They looked at me like I was crazy. I finally got it, and the game played horribly. It really wasn't worth the money at all, but I suppose it's just something to say that I own the Gilligan's Island videogame...

Another one that wasn't so much an embarassment, but mayeb a disappointment was Mission Impossible for the N64. This was before online reviews were widespread, and I thought it would be a good game, but it had very clunky controls. It was touted at the time by some as potentially being the next GoldenEye. How wrong they were. As both a fan of 007 in general, and also the game, MI was just sad.

Nintendogs (NDS): what's fun about having a dog in a boring room. i don't get it.

Yeah, it was great for the first 2 days. I would've liked it if the dog grew up, or it could actually die. I left the game for about 9 months and came back, my dog was still there... starving but alive O_o

I usually don't buy games before reading reviews. So it's been a long time since I've bought a game and been disappointed greatly.

I was a little embarrassed while buying Pokemon Pearl, and I'm 23 years old.

I found another crappy game I used to own: Casper Spirit Dimensions

The game was boring and the controls were weird. That wasn't the most embarassing moment though. I was stuck for hours in the second level. I couldn't find the last ticket part to get into the circus tent. So I was flying constantly around the whole level to find it until I went total insane of frustration and just started flying against the closed circus tent door. Suddenly the screen freaks out and there I was inside the circustent.

The fact that I needed a weird glitch to finish a game for 3 year olds says enough, this game is embarassing and crappy.

Well, when Gameboy Color was the thing, my parents bought me a Shrek game that... well, sucked. It was boring and stupid and blah--
OH. MY. GOSH.
Okay, I might edit this post later. I was looking through my old Gameboy Color games for more horrible badness... and I just discovered Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.
WHEN DID WE GET THIS!?

In the beggining of the month, I bough a great quantity of used GB games, each for 0,50 cents, and, when I got home, I saw that there were games there such as Tiny Toons Adventures, and Duck Tales(even though this game has one of the best VG Tunes ever, the Moon track(yes, this game is an exact port of the NES one)

Shadow the Hedgehog on GameCube.

I played it through to the very end, did all the Final boss fights and differant paths, watched the ending ancd everything and then lay down on my bed and suddenly realised that was a terrible game.

I had to play through Final Fantasy 3 almost twice before I could fully recover :P

The worse game I have probably ever bought is Nintendogs, That game was terrible, I do suppose though that it came with the DS when I got it, Still pretty terrible game. Not the type of game I can play at all, It takes to much time every day and walking each individual dog gets really boring.

I also bought Cars, That was another bad game, It is fun for just taking up time but as a serious game it it terrible, It doesn't even really have any proper races in it. It only takes about 2 hours to fully complete it which is kind of a disappointment .

I actually bought a CD-i and the Zelda games at a garage sale.

Ughhhhh.

Backyard football (Gamecube): My dad bought me this. It's just a really boring game, not fun at all.

Spongebob revenge of the flying dutchman (Gamecube): Why did I buy this? I was six. Case in point. Anyways, it sucks.

I played Spider-Man Web of Shadows for Xbox 360 and I liked it quite a bit. It had good graphics and a good fighting system and the plot seemed interesting. I only own a PS2 and an original Xbox so I bought the same PS2 version of Spider-Man Web of Shadows...

It was a COMPLETELY different game, almost. It was side scrolling (not free roaming like the 360 version), the graphics looked like they were taken from Spider-Man 2 for Nintendo DS, and the plot was so condensed.

It was the biggest waste of 20 bucks I ever spent. I played it for 15 minutes and haven't touched it since.

Orbs of Doom, You controll "Mythmakers" who have been trapped in a ball by some evil wizard and have to roll through levels to a gate. Who are the Mythmakers? Why did the wizard trap them? What does rolling through the gates have to do with anything? Why can't this game have decent controls? Nobody knows.

The only thing that comes close to this was that I vaugely remember being... like... 12... (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) and my mother renting me a few NES games to try out.

This was back when those wishing troll dolls were popular among girls my age... One of the games rented was a Trolls game. I forget he exact title - "Troll Adventure."

I remmeber I opted not to buy this game because I couldn't get past this one area where there was a rotary-cutting wheel that would mow me down.

I only remember it vaugely, but it was a bizarre game.

Worst game i ever bought...probably Pokemon Naranja. An illegal suckish copy of a pokemon game with messed up colors and the first gym leader is unbeatable. Simply because when you go up to her and press "a" it goes dink. Nothing else happens. So basically you just walk around until your badly colored pokemon outgrow the level limit or the game completly crashes. Not worth anywhere near the 20 bucks i spent on it. Ah, well. i guess it was kind of fun when walked into a tree and go down a random staircase hidden there. or if you walked on a certain wall how the screen turned jumbled pixels and restarted. I hate the dude who sold me that game. Gah.

I've never been embarassed about a game. I just felt slightly angry when I hear people attack games just because there made by Nintendo. Not buying a game because you think its bad I can forgive you, but for insulting a game you never tried, and have not tried it just because it was Nintendo. I will get furious. I can't even say the word Pokemon, Mario, For DS/Wii, Animal Crossing without being personally attacked. And lots of my schoolmates either cant get anymore deeper into stratagy then hack and slash and first person shooter. While I have nothing against Halo or mabye some good games in those catagories which I dont know about I would rather go to my cousins hose to play them instead of buy the console myself.

That... would be Alone in the dark for the PS2. It was coded and scripted so bad it was barely playable. It was enraging. I have no idea why the game developers released it. D:

The game was barren and not any real fun to play. Everything you did was scripted to the point that you weren't playing but following, at times things would just happen, coming out of nowhere. The premise of the plot and game was interesting. But it was just totally unfinished. I heard that the Xbox version was decent though. And the new remake for the PS3 looks good. But I am not going to buy it until I see it for myself. I really shouldn't have invested the time to finish it... I must have been really, really bored... or just stubborn...

I haven't bought any games that were bad or embarrassing. But if I had to choose which one was the most annoying/difficult, it would be Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja. I got it about this time last year, and still haven't beaten it. Then it got corrupted when I came close. But I still plan on beating it and getting the sequel to it.

Edit: Never mind, the worst game I bought was Kirby: Squeak Squad. The whole game was about trying to get your slice of strawberry shortcake back. I beat it in maybe less than eight hours...

I'm surprised to see people say Zelda.
I'm surprised anybody at school thought it was for kids... They obviously haven't played it (I think).

All the people I know think that Zelda is pretty awesome, with great music and all.
A few people have to admit that they don't like those long story games and that they rather play a race game or a first person shooter, but theydon't frown upon me when I tell them I like Zelda.

There are a few people who know nothing, they think that all games are like pac-man or space invaders or something. Those people would say gaming in general is for kids.

Really, I have never met anybody who would say out loud that Zelda is not worth the fuss.
It's basically the only series of games I like.

That Goumon N64 game was really bad, glad I didn't own it. A friend did. He was not happy.
And V-rally '99, in my opinion it's the worst racing game ever.
And Mario

While I definitely know how much that fact that the only thing that ever survives something as simple as saving your game is about 90% of your inventory, and you can never permanently help any of the awesome NPCs, despite how intricate all the sidequests are, I wouldn't call MM an embarrassing purchase. It is classic Zelda gameplay for the most part, and the world is genuinely engrossing and interesting. (Too bad you never even have the in-game time to see it all.)

As much as I love the Devil May Cry series; Devil May Cry 2 was the worst game I ever played.
Terrible, terrible.
Ruined Dantes character, terrible gameplay, LETS MAKE THIS GAME SO EASY THAT A BABY COULD BEAT IT BLIND~
Hey, do you like playing the same game TWICE with a different unlikable character? HERE YOU GO.
Although DMC4 had a simular tactic (backtracking some levels with both Nero and Dante), at least Nero and Dante were likable characters and had different enough attack moves to make it fun a second time.
Either way, as far as I'm concerned, DMC2 doesn't exist in the DMC series.
Somehow the series just skips 2 and goes 1, 3 and 4.

I wanna say Twilight Princess, but then fanboys will falsely flag me and I will get the banhammer.
So, instead, I choose the one game I downloaded on the Virtual Console, foolishly thinking it would be a great game. Enter 'SimEarth: The Living Planet' for the TurboGraphx-16. First off, there's the voice acting. Whenever you start a new game, a big Japanese planet with a dopey face. I say Japanese not because it has a small skirt with a cat tail, but because it's mouth always moves. Even when the speaker stops talking. Also, HE TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO. Make oceans, produce life, experiment with different environments, and then make an Exodus to another planet. The voice and the word Exodus made me think the game was made by Christians, but then the concept led me away from that. Then there's the music: one single soundtrack of nothing but a slow Gehanna theme. I'm not kidding. I feel great that it's not on Youtube. Then there's the graphics. They just throw you onto the planet you chose, show you some stuff, and your supposed to know what it is. The manual doesn't even have a key for it, let alone the game. Also, if you put life somewhere, it's just a still picture with it's own background. The only animated thing is the ocean, which is why I tried coating Mars with water. But then I planted Ice on the Desert, and it expanded. So I ended up with a giant ball of ice. Oh, and when I looked for species to plant, humans were nonexistent. This game has you play the role of a deity, but you can't create humans. Also, certain species prefer certain landscapes. So I put some dinosaurs in the Jungle, because the game said that's what they liked. They all died.
Overall, it's a confusing mess.

Sorry if I did anything bad by posting a full-fledged review.

Spiderman(I forget if it was 1 or 2) for the Nintendo Gamecube. That was a godawful game, seriously. I just got it to be playing it, and I couldn't stand it. There are a whole slew of games that I've only played once and never could bring myself to play again, so it's hard to choose. I'll leave out games based on movies and Mario Party games to narrow it down a bit. Hmm... The first ones that come to mind are Wii Music and Shadow the Hedgehog.

First of all, casual games aren't my cup of tea, so I don't know what possessed me to purchase Wii Music in the first place, then there are the terrible controls. And Shadow the Hedgehog... It's been so long since I've played that, that I don't even remember why I didn't like it. All I remember is that the gameplay was incredibly dull, and it had guns. I don't like gun games.

It is extremely rare for me to actually have a game that I hate that I've played, but I know that I have at least one.

Escape from Monkey Island. I only played it for at least 30 minutes and I hated every single minute of it. Although I will admit that there was one tiny thing I liked about it, everything else didn't catch my attention. The Worst games I believe are any of the CDI's. That includes Hotel Mario and the unspeakable Zeldas. But I've never played them. I honestly want to play them just to see how hilarious they are:xd:

The ones I've played that are the worst: either Wii Play or Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. I got both of these games when I first got my Wii, and only played them for a month or two. When SMB turned to party games, I did not like it. Not to mention the controls were tough. I'm honestly sick of party games. I played all the Mario Partys and only enjoyed up to the fifth one, tbh. Anyways, my least favorite game of all time is probably Wii Music. I enjoyed Wii Sports, Wii Fit and Wii Sports Resort and thought Wii Play was ok so I thought Wii Music wouldn't be too bad. I picked it up without knowing too much about it and man, was that a mistake. I played it for about 5 minutes and turned off my wii right away. I haven't touched the game since. It has no objective and the only thing you can do is pick up an instrument and change the speed of a song. Utterly pointless.

Other games I didn't like include Game Party, Spyro: a Hero's Tail, Big Brain Academy, Sims 2 Pets (for the DS. I'm a huge Sims fan but this was awful..), Carnival Games, Carnival Games: Mini Golf, Six Flags Fun Park, Deca Sports, and so much more..

All of you who claim that 1st party Nintendo games are the worst you've ever played: I refuse to believe that Twilight Princess or Mario Galaxy 2 are the absolute WORST games you've ever played. Unless you live under a rock, you've bound to have played some off brand third part spin off trash that was horrible. For me it's Petz Catz 2. Yeah, I own it because of certain circumstances I would rather not delve into at this very moment, but there's just nothing substantive to it. Even though it looks like crap and from what you say, it sounds like crap... I still want to give that game a try. I'm a huge Mario fanboy, so even when it comes to strange spin-offs such as Super Princess Peach, I'll still want it.

But anyway, the worst game I've ever played... DDR: Hottest Party for the Wii. I just cannot play that. I thought it would be better than DDR: Mario Mix (for the record, I freakin' love Mario Mix) because it had actual songs in it. But no, I can't play it. I wasted $70 on a game I don't even play at all. I think its about time to break my no-trade-in streak.

I recommend getting it still. The game looks great. And it's a side scroller just like the old Mario games and is like a Mario game but with Peach and different moves.

Anyway Iron Man was the worst game I played. The game just sucked big time and was too repetitive and annoying. I got frustrated playing it and I actually passed it with all the hate and anger I had playing it.

Probably Sim City Creator for the Wii. It's not very good, due to the fact that you can't really even play it. (It's hard to explain).

Super Princess peach is very funny but painfully easy, I completed it in five days.

The worst game I have played is probably My Sim's Racing. My brother has it and is is pathetic and you just drive around in a little car squealing and giving rides to strangers...

I have 2....
1. Petz Dogs 2 for the Wii. Yeah.... Does that sound fun? IT'S NOT! It's really boring, the controls are very bad, and it's just a very repetitive collectathon with a plot that makes no sense! I hate this game!
2. Army Men: R.T.S. ( Real Time Strategy) Why won't my army men move!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????

And super mario galaxy 2 was overrated. It was the most frustrating game i have ever played. IT'S THE ONLY GAME THAT EVER MADE ME SCREAM OUT LOUD AT MULTIPLE MISSIONS!

This was a game I didn't play, but was watching. It was Disney Princesses: Enchanted Journey or something along the lines of that. I watched as my sister played it (and she's older than me!) and she beat the whole game in 3 hours. It didn't look too exciting to me, at least:shake:

For me it's Petz Catz 2. Yeah, I own it because of certain circumstances I would rather not delve into at this very moment, but there's just nothing substantive to it. It's a very bad Nintendogs wannabe, watered down in every aspect. Just a mess to even attempt.

So agreed. My cousin has Petz Dogz for DS. One of the WORST GAMES EVER. She had even asked for Nintendogs and she got that crap! It has horrible graphics and make no sense whatsoever.
Another crappy game for me is Happy Feet for gamecube. Definatily the worst game EVER. All you do is dance by pressing the control pad, slide on your belly down hills and swim, and sometimes collect stuff at the same time. It is a horrible game.

I also hate Super Smash Bros Brawl, Casper: Spirit Dimensions, Megaman III, Rayman, Tarzan: Untamed, Dragon Warrior, Super Mario Bros: the Lost Levels, Kid Icarus, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters, Pokemon D/P/P, Pokemon PBR, LoZ: Majora's Mask, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Shrek: Extra Large, and lastly, the one game I absolutely hate second only to SimEarth: Mother 3.
In reality, there's a list hundreds times larger than this one, but I didn't use it because it uses common ones like Wii Fit Plus.

Mother 3? I hope you're joking. if you're not, YOU MUST DIE!!!!!!

I can't think of the worst game I ever played. Believe me, Ninja Bread Man for Wii is the worst. Here's a review:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfdAQeq-30w&feature=player_embedded

Barbie for the NES, it came with a buch of games. It is actually pretty hard but not as hard as the Little Mermaid for the NES which also came with the bundle :D

I loved DDR Mario Mix, it ROX. It is my favorite DDR!

When I got a PS2, I got Dora the Explorer with it for free. I looked like a retard walking out of the store with that. This is kind of embarassing, but I actually spent a lot of time playing that game, even though it sucked. Basically, you could walk and jump, and there were no enemies or bosses, for that matter (but who'd expect that in a game rated eC?)

I made a thread kinda like this called "worst game you've ever played"

the worst game i ever bought was Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360. sonic was slow, the level designs were terrible, the story sucked, and it didn't have a song that was good and not over used. i only wish i could go back in time and tell my younger self not to buy it.

Tranformers. It doesn't save any of my data and the first boss is impossibly hard

Mine would have to be...hmmm Edd Ed n' Eddy Misadventures for PS2 I played it for a while then I got frustrated because one of them got sick and I had to hide his face from people it sucked. The show is good the game is Crud dont buy it.

(This is from a very late post, I'm reading through all of them because I have nothing better to do.)
I know. I rented this game many years ago and I started playing it, but I don't remember if it was bad or not. All I remember is that there was the kid with the plank and I could NOT get past him without getting seen. Terrible game. Never buy it.

Oh wait, there's an even worse one. My mom let my sister and I pick out something random from the dollar store, so we got this wannabe spinoff thing of DDR. (Kinda strange how it was 20 bucks at the dollar store) It didn't even have a console, you just plug in the cords to the TV. We plug it in, expecting to to be terribly crappy. We were wrong. It was the crappiest piece of electronics I've ever laid eyes on. We start doing it on two player mode, we're just doing it. I completely make a misstep and it says, "Excellent!". I'm like, "'What the heck!? That was NOT excellent!" Then I tell her to step off of the pad. We both step off, and it still just says "Great!" "Oops!" "Nice!" and such. How could these terrible people sell this to kids!? Just not cool. -.-

I hate Slippy's anoyying squeal.

Anyways the worst games I every bought were.

Nintendogs, Catz, Bugs Life {N64}, Imagine teacher..

I think that's it. Ick.

Well, some of the workers in gamestop know i'm pretty much a zelda geek .

Bad games, well lets see- Harry potter goblet of fire,u.b funkeys, playground for the ds, mario party ds, scooby doo 100 nights of frights, spider man.
Embarrassing games- none, but i hate people walking in and looking at me play a game, i fell weird.

The most embarassing game I've ever played is probably Yoshi's Story on the N64/Wii VC. An unskippable cutscene of happy, singing Yoshis after you beat a level? Yeah, that'll be enough to make you play the game in secret. Plus, the game is really short and easy (you can beat in under an hour, no sweat) and the plot is really stupid. The music is repetitive as well. The only things that I like about it are the graphics, and fun gameplay. The game should have an eC rating instead of an E, and many people think it's responsible for Nintendo's "kiddy" impression.

Sonic the Hedgehog '06. Bugs, loading screens and poor plot ahoy. I did like the main theme though and probably one short part of a cutscene but little else.

By this point I play it for the sake of laughing at how bad it is.

The worst/most embarassing game I have ever purchased was The Sims 2: Pets. After hearing some reccomendations from a friend, I decided to buy it. That's when I realised...

First off, the clerk asked me if it was for my sister. I just nodded and walked off with my newly purchased game.
As soon as I started playing, I realised how horrible and repetitive the gameplay was. Generic tasks that repeated themselves, and tons of glitches. For example, it deleted my name. So my file was File 1:____________ Time: 1:33:92

Definitely one of the things I regret buying.

Can't think of any, maybe there have been games where the person selling 'em would look at me like "Why the hell would you play that" games like Pokemon, Mario and whatnot, but I like the "childlish" kinda games over the overlly violent depressing realistic kinds of games, don't get me wrong I still play those types too.

Though the one games I can tell you I'm somewhat embarrased of owning is JUMP: Super Stars for the Nintendo DS, don't get me wrong is a very great game, but I just feel like a wapanese weeaboo owning it.

That is all.

Worst: Well, I never bought this game, but it would have to be Nintendogs. Seriously, that game is horrible. >_<; And then there's the gameboy game called Dogs... what a waste of my money. =/

Embarrassing: I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I'd have to say Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts. I was always picked on for liking Pokemon when I was younger, so I guess that's why I don't like people knowing I play Pokemon. I tend to be very picky when buying games. Christmas is a scary time of year as I'm afraid my parents will get me terrible games. xD
This has happened... a lot.

Horsez for the DS is one of them.
AUGH. To this day I HATE EVERY PIXEL OF THAT DERANGED GAME. I sold it. And now I am very happy.
Same with Catz. The Petz game on the PC are fun. What happened, oh DS titles? :c

I don't get embarressed from the games I play. |D I still play Pokemon religiously, so.
Not even when I played WoW. Which I am very sad my brother had to cancel our subscription. D:

nothing really. one time though i was close to being embarassed. when i bought spirit tracks, a couple kids from my school were there buying mw2. at first i was like "oh no theyll see me with a toon link game!" but then i thought "screw them, if they dont wanna play it, then theyre missing out.

Pokemon isn't that embarrasing as long as you play it at your calculator during Maths... :xd:

When I first heared about KH I thought it was pretty cool, till I discovered those disney characters in the game (when I saw trailers etc.), and those disney things make it look really childish. But when you know more about the game you learn it isn't childish at all, it's a lot more mature as zelda... but when you tell people about Kingdom Hearts, you first have to explain everything about those disney characters before they even give it a change

A PS3 game... I can't believe I seriously spent money on it... XBlades. It was terrible. I didn't even beat it because it was too monotonous and repetitive. It was a totally wanna-be version of Devil May Cry with a female character. The dialogue was cheesy and horrid, and I couldn't stand it any longer than a few levels. I brought it back and exchanged it for a new DS game.
