What is your Favorite zelda title logo?
there is are so many to choose from, so its kinda hard to decide.

So lets do it this way, posts your top 3 Fave Title logos and also give a reason why you like it.

mine would be:
1. Alttp
Reason: i just love the sword an shield in the logo. i also like the OOT one with the hyrule shield and master sword, but still the Alttp logo is more medieval/classic looking.
2. TMC
Reason: i know there are more toony zelda title logo 's but this one appeals more to me.
the golden sword and then those ribbon like thingies wrapped around the hilt giving it a swaying look is just awsome
3. TP
Reason: normally i concider this one kind of unique. it gives me this tribal kinda feel to it (lol perfect for a tatoo). also this logo is more like a background in the "Zelda" title.

Ocarina of Time: The classic sword through the shield with the huge red letters covering it. Back in the day, I used to DRAW the title screen for fun.

Twilight Princess: Just plain cool.

To be honest, no more really stood out.

The Ocarina of Time one is very epic looking. The Master Sword with the Hylian Shield is the classic! The Twilight Princess one also looks kinda cool. Wind Waker is third, which is a little...bleah...so, yeah.

Ocarina of Time is the best one. It's classic, awesome, and just the best. Twilight Princess wasn't too bad, kinda cool. Then there would be Majora's Mask, which is pretty cool, and completely different from all of the others.

Ocarina of Time is by far my favorite. To me, none of the others even come close. However, Twilight Princess still comes in second place.

1.Twilight Princess---To me, this logo is much more badass than the previous ones. Its just very dark, mysterious, and kinda reminds me of Egyptian text the way the "Twilight Princess" part is written.

2.ALttP/LA---Just a real nice, classic feel to this logo. Brings up good memories.

3.Ocarina of Time Master Quest---Every time I look at the OoT title logo, I notice the sword, and how thin it is near the handle, as compared to its thickness towards the tip...It just makes me think that if it was really in that proportion, it would break off very easily. Which is why I choose the Master Quest version, because its blue...and blue is a good color.

Lol, I always thought that the thinness near the handle looked pretty cool. And I suppose it's probably either impossible or really hard to break the master sword.

It is a sacred blade, it isn't supposed to break. If it did, Ganon would have unlimited power, Link wouldn't be able to stop him, and Hyrule and the world would be screwed! Besides, it was made by the gods, so I'm pretty sure Din, Nyru, and Faroce didn't design it to break.

I'd have to say that I like Majora's Mask the most because it's just tells a lot about game, in the title! Oot is my second favorite because it's a classic Zelda kind of thing. And lastly I'd say TP because it has to sides of Link, him and his inner beast!

You know, I'm gonna have to agree with you here. The ALttP title logo is really awesome. I hadn't played it at the time of my last post, but it's really awesome, I must say. But I'd rank it between OoT and TP.

The ALttP logo was later used bu Link's Awakening and the Limited Version of OoT... I prefer the Pal Oot LOGO..

1. Ocarina of Time - The Master Sword crossing through the Hyrulian Shield was the best. The backround was also a great addition to the title logo.

2. Twilight Princess - I thought that Link on one side and Wolf Link on the other was a cool new look compared to what I have seen.

3. Majora's Mask - The idea of a giant mask on the front was very effective. Though it lacked the true idea of Zelda

Majora's Mask:

Quite simple, but love the almost mesmerizing mix of the background with Majora's Mask. The eyes of the mask just appear so piercing and menacing, the art almost draws you in and overall is wonderfully done. The splash of background color really brings the whole logo together.

Third will be uh... Either the Adventure of Link or Minish Cap. The Minish cap looked just nice fresh and clean while Adventure of Link looked just classic and different.

Twilight Princess is my favorite of the Zelda logos. Very detailed, very epic looking, and overall awesomistic.

Other than that, I also really liked the logo in Majora's Mask. It matches the dark mysterious mood of the game.

Majoras mask. I like it because of just how creepy it actually is.. the eyes on the mask.. it really sets the mood for the story of the game

OoT. Lets face it.. it was original.. unlike the TP one that was very similar

TWW. Well.. its pretty.. the musik during the title logo helps and the graphiks for the game make it really stand out to. Its just very pretty! ^^

Well here is my top three:

(I am refering to the title logos on the box art)

1. Adventure of Link, I am weak for swords and this is a very beautiful one.
2. Ocarina of Time, what can you say, it is high class!!
3. The Legend of Zelda (Yes the first one), I don´t know but it is appealing to me, always has been. And it´s epic!

They are actually gorgeous most of them and other favorites for me are the WW, TP and MC logos.

As for the title screens, I'd roughly say:

1.- OoT: I think this is my favorite. That yellow fire looks so good! Also, the Hylian shield and the Master sword look pretty real. Is the best for me, because it was the first I ever saw.

2.-MC: Yes, those ribbons wrapping the sword give the logo a pretty epic feeling. I also like the little Ezlo in the C of "Cap".

3.-TP: I like this logo, because it not only looks good, but it seems pretty hard to do. The Wolf Link image is great!

Hmm...well my favorite logos would have to be:

1) MM's logo- It looked cool with how the Majora's Mask was behind it and all. It gave off a sense of creepiness; the good kind of creepiness, mind you. :)

2) ALttP's logo- I have to agree with the other people on here who said that it looked medieval. That made it unique in my opinion.

3) TP's logo- This one is one of the coolest logos yet to grace the cover of a Zelda game. (Well besides the other two that I mentioned earlier... :) )

1. MM. I like the way Majora's Mask looked. That is the coolest mask I've ever seen. I also liked it when it sparkles in purple and orange flames. :)

2. LOZ. This is the classic Zelda logo and I like the Triforce in the back. :)

3. OOT. Because there is the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. Both are very important items in Zelda. I like it too when the light pass trought the Sword down to the main title. :)

I think my favorite one is the ALttP title logo, I just love the sword going through the Z. To me it looks very epic, it has a classic feel to it. ^^

As for a runner-up, i'd say that the MM title logo is my second favorite. The mask makes it look very ominous, those eyes always seem to glare back at you. It's certainly a cool logo. :cool:

My favourite logos, referring to the box art would be;

#1: Majora's Mask- The detail on this logo halps add to the overall feel of the game, using quite Dark colors, it increases the atmosphere of Creepiness and Darkness

#2: Twilight Princess: The intricate Detail on Wolf Link, and what seems to be The Fused Shadow in the Background, is quite eye-catching, and adds to the overall Dark feel of the Game

#3: Minish Cap: The detail of Ezlo, integrated into the lettering and the Four Sword in the Background, adds to the sense of appeal and overall feel of the game

Favorite title:
A Link to the Past. This is because of the word play. Link applies to the character and the literal definition of 'link'.

Favorite Logo:
Majora's Mask. I really like how the mask looks, and for once there is no sword, sheild, or triforce in the logo. its a refreshing change of pace. Majora's Mask is one of my favorite games just because its all different from the Zelda norm.

I really like the complex line art used on the Twilight Princess logo, which is definitely my favorite. Other than that, I like the Spirit Tracks logo, (the final version) due to its simple vector-ish style, and Majora's Mask because of the dark theme of it.

The Link To The Past Title Screen/Logo is pretty cool. I mean the Master Sword right there, in the middle of Z for the Zelda, AWESOME in my opinion. Here is what it looks like for those who haven't seen it.

LttP HANDS DOWN. Sure some of the newer ones have pretty cool designs, but LttP can never be beaten, it just seems to encapsulate everything the Zelda series stands for, it's so classic and awesome. :D

That Japanese thing looks intriging. The Japanese MM one was also cooler than my PAL version.
