What are some of your ideas for future bosses or what do you think a boss should be in a future Legend of Zelda game?
Me, I've thought of a few but the only one I can remember is a sky beast with six wings, no eyes, a long body covered in blue feathers, a gaping mouth, and no legs. I thought of a darkness dragon the other day in school, kind of like Cynder from Spyro and the boss dragon from Twilight Princess with its armor and then I thought how cool it would be for the dragon to come to life as a zombie, kind of like what Zant did with Stalford.
An idea list might go like this:

Name of Boss:
Game Description:
Body Description:
Attacks:
Items needs:
How to defeat:

Anyway, what would be really cool is fighting your own partner(if you have one) or plugginh another controller in and letting the other person control the boss. Or imagine this (a joke) Mario vs. link. epic.

How to defeat: To defeat Lynord, shoot him in the Eye with an arrow, when he is down, hit him on the head with the Megaton Hammer to remove some of the armour. Repeat. When his armour is gone, you can attack him with your sword.

I'd like vaati to come back for the new game, like ganonndorf's apprentice or something(can't have a zelda game without ganon though!)

first, Link should fight vaati in ganon's tower, which should be on death mountain, which, in the dark world, is in the middle of a gigantic maze called the labyrinth on the isle of the dead, and the home of the gorons in the light world. anyway, defeat vaati with the heroes bow and the master sword, then Gannon will appear and turn into a darknut, but a huge, way more difficult, cooler looking one, and darknuts with bows and arrows are all around the room, shooting at you.. defeat this guy with your sword, then gannon will transfigure into a sorcerer type person with a black robe, and the room will change too. sorcerer-ganon will be standing on a pillar in the middle of a huge pit, throwig spells at you. do not fall into the pit. hit the pillar with you ball and chain and Gannon will be knocked off balance, so hit him with an arrow. do this a few times then he'll just turn into a raven and fly to the platform that you're on. he'll keep throwing spells at you, but just keep dodging theses and attack with your sword. he will then turn into raven gannon and fly over to the pillar again. this time, you have to slash the spell s with your sword and they'll fly back at ganon. this will be sort of like the battle with aghanim in LttP and the diabolical cubus sisters in PH. if you can't slach or dodge the spells, just raise your shield and block them. eventually gannon will be hit so hard by your rebounded spell that he'll be thrown backward onto the platform behind him. go slash at him and he will start to die, and the room will go back to its original shape. a starcase will appear, but as you try to climb it, vaati will stop you and laugh. he'll make a spell, and Ganon's body will reincarnate into a huge, three headed dragon. then, Vaati will make another spell, and vaati will turn into a sorcerer like vaati, but with a huge sword. vaati will jump on dragon-gannon. then, the room will change again. this time you will be on top of the tower with gargoyles around the edges. and dragon-gannon and sorcerer-vaati in front of you. shoot an arrow at vaati and he will dodge this, then mock you, laughing. use his distraction to shoot another arrow at him, and it will be sticking out of his chest. vaati will jump down onto the top of the tower, and start throwing spells and slashing at you. as you fight vaati, dragon-gannon will blow fire at you. at one point vaati will summon the gargoyles to attack yo, so defeat them and then sword fight with vaati, which will be like the sword fight with bellum-linebeck in PH. defeat vaati then turn your attention to ganon. one of the heads will draw breath to breathe fire, so shoot an arrow down his throat. that head will choke and die, making a bridge onto the tower. climb up the neck, and the two other heads will blow fire at you. dodge this and they will then blow fire at themselves. try to maneuver so the fire hits the other head. the head will be dazed, so quickly cut it off the neck. then the last head will reach around to bite you, so just grab onto the head and equip the iron boots. Ganon will start to fall, and you with him. he'll still be attacking you though, so jump around on his body and dodge and slash at the third head, stabbing and shooting arrows at it's eyes, which will blind it for a moment or two. eventually, you will hit the ground, and Gannon will be crushed against the ground.

Ok I've given this suggestion several times in other zelda communities but I've always had this one idea for minibosses.
Considering that Miamota has declared that the new zelda will take on a similar light/dark "Plot" like in TP I wouldn't be surprised to see a plague of creatures that are basicly the "main" enemies, like the twilite messengers from TP where.
Well I've always thought the games where lacking in the fact that you see all these wonderfull creatures (Zoras, Gorons, Dekus, etc.) but you've only been able to actually go one-on-one, mano-a-mano, sword-to-sword with a few.

So the new "twilite messengers" should be some sort of parisetic monster that somehow gets inside the other creature and turns it into a creature thats dark, strong, and has too many teeth. Wouldn't it be epic to fight a zora with but a few platforms to keep you from falling into the water or a evil skullkid that jumps and latches on to you while gnawing on to your face?

I think these would be perfect for minibosses considering that usally the mid-bosses are usally not huge and imposing just really intimidating

I thought that all the bosses in oot and tp were my favorite. A giant re dead would be kinda cool and creepy. Or maybe if they just morph an oot boss with a tp boss, without it being obviously similar, then I think that would also be neat. I aso agree with Skullkidsreveng, the zora thing would be epic but...THE ZORAS ARE OUR FRIENDS!!! Maybe, an evil Zora?!!! Yes.

Yay I have a new one.

Name:?????(no seriously, that's it's name)

Body Description: Large beast(about the size of Ganon in OoT), shackles around legs(doesn't it remind you of Fyrus),Ball and Chain in right hand(Darkhammer from Snowpeak ruins has a nice resemblence, aye),Two shields on shoulders(kinda like king bulbin, the second time you battle him on the bridge of Eldin)Head of Zant,Cool arm that looks like a Big Baba from the battle of Diababa, his body is kinda like Stallords,Maybe I could add in a bunch of armor from argorok, ahh and a giant eye like armogohma.Tiny spikes on the sides of his body.

Attacks: Ball and Chain(Damage 2x<3), the Big Baba's head will trudge at you(Damage:1x<3), contact(Damage:<3) Flames(Damage:3x<3)Shackle swing(Damage:2x<3),Ultimate Move(18x<3)

Items needs:Magic Armor(a suprise, huh), an amount of rupees, Iron boots, Ball and Chain, and the Clawshot( 20 heart containers and fairys recomended)

How to defeat:once he trys to attack you you have to Equip your magic armor, and then You'll have an amount of rupees taken away. He will probably try to use his ultimate move once but He'll start charging up his attack, then link must run to the edge of the room, and if he makes it the attack will be dodged. Now after a few hits at him and he'll transform into each boss and You'll have to fight them again. After they are defeated, he'll turn into his final form and then you'll have to step on the switch at the end of the room, turn on the iron boots, clawshot onto a target on the wall. Once you've clawshotted, you must lower a bit down on the chain, L-target onto, the boss, and Equip your magic armor, and fall, he will take a shot at you, while he's vunurable you hit him with the Ball and Chain. Every time you hit him he will lose some armor, once all of his armor is gone, clawshot onto his mask and once you're there, slash, slash for your life.

So, do ya like it?

oh heres another one. my giant skeleton fish was just stupid.

Name: Ignyrus

Description: huge monster on fire kind of like Fyrus, with no shackles and a huge double-sided war axe and Armour.

Attacks: overhand axe slash(x5<3) side axe swing(x3<3) hits wall, makes rocks fall(rock=x3<3) stomps on ground, makes lava flow into room
(lava=x2<3) breathes fire(x2<3) makes fire ring(ultimate attack=x8<3)

items needed: Heros bow, Goron armour, Goron sword, Goron shield.

How to defeat: run around his feet, and he will start pounding the wall, frustrated. go to one of the boulders that falls and push it onto one of the four catapults. cut the rope, and the boulder will be sent flying towards Ignyrus, who will fall over. go towards his head and slash at his eye with the Goron sword. do this with the other four catapults and then Ignyrus will stomp on the ground. run up the spiral staircase and go to the second floor. here are some more catapults. jump onto one and cut the rope, then get shot over onto Fyrus. youll need to have equipped the Goron armour first, otherwise you will fall off. because of the flames. slash at his eye some more, then hell throw you onto the top floor again. repeat this with the other catapults. after theyre done, Ignyrus will start using his axe more, and as he tries a downward cut, hold up the Goron sword and block his attack. when he breathes fire at you, repel it with your Goron shield. start shooting at his eye with the Heros bow until he falls into the lava, the lava flows away, and you see his bones on the floor.

The lurker of the Dark- Solis Uredo
Boss Area- The Arena. You will enter a big arena like area with green grass all around. The sun shines so brightly here but seems to bring no life. You hear growling coming from a gate and go to check it out. When you get near it, the gate gets thrown across the arena and the sky darkens. A monsterous wofl with a tiger's tail comes out and roars loudly at you.

Phase One- Wolf's Scorn

A large menacing wolf/tiger. It stands as large as King Dodongo in OOT and it is faster.
1st phase- "Claw Beat" takes one whole heart each swing. He slashes at Link with his menacing claws and beats him to the wall of the room where he begins to slash at him with 4 swipes. These slices can miss depending on how you move the Wii remote to swing your sword. This attack is devastating and hard to dodge however if you manage to make him miss, he'll writhe in pain and you'll have a chance to escape.
"Dark gaze"- He will once in a while open his eyes real wide but this happens without much warning except that his tail will try to stop you from moving. It is at this time you must look away from him or he will transform you into a helpless blob for 10 seconds. Which is enough time for him to do:
"Quake stomp"- This will take away 1/2 a heart from you every time it hits. You in your blob form must attempt to roll away before he gets you and stomps you 8 times.

First phase Weakness- His tail is his weakness. You must wait for him to do the "Dark Gaze" attack where he will put out his tail. At this moment you must turn to the tail and slice it once, this shall stun him and his (tiger) tail shall go high up in the air. Use your arrows to aim at him. 10 hits in this form outta bring you to phase 2.

Phase 1 Music (This may seem lazy but it adds atmosphere for me.) - Here you go (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGSxZBe6Uic&feature=related)

Phase 2- Tiger's Rage

Solis shall trade his wolf like form for a large tiger with a wolf like tail and tiger front. His eyes shall turn from pale to red, signifying that he is angry. He gains newfound strength that could steal many hearts from you, but it considerably slower now.
The arena shall be darkened at this time and the ground will wither away causing holes to appear.

Attacks- He will first circle you patiently. You must circle him slowly and make sure not to move to quickly or he will stretch out far and grab you. When he grabs you he will throw you far. This shall cause a whopping four hearts to disappear, however this is pretty easy to dodge.
His main attack is "Blight's Breath" - He will breath poison gas on you, you must get some considerable distance in order to get away from this attack. It will drain 6 hearts unless you roll the stuff off you fast enough.
"Dark Grip"- Two Wallmaster like hands shall appear out of nowhere and attempt to grab you. If they do they will bring you in front of Solis and he will bite you which will cause 4 hearts gone.

Weakness- His Hind legs. You need to bring the light to the arena by shooting the 4 torches on the wall. You must make sure to get in the exact middle of the arena *A triforce mark shall inform you* you must then use the Pegasus shoes to run to one of the large holes in the arena. He will give chase, and once you get to the hole the boots will run you over it. He will make one large jump at you when you get near the hole and his body mass will get his front part stuck in one of the holes. His hind legs have been exposed and now you must hit them like mad. Continue this and he will go down after 20 hits.

Solis shall keel over and make a howl/roar and then the light shall return to the arena and cause him to evaporate.

Phase 2 Music- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgfuojiFQLE
