I never went into doing sigs or avies, I am more of a spriter, but I know one universal law, alwayes save your images in .png, .jpg ALWAYS gives discoleration. Unless you intend on it to be like that, I sugest saving as .png, for some people .gif is good too.

P.S.: That is really good!

For your first sig, that's pretty good! I like it,it's simple, and it's cute too.:D

Thanks guys :3

I think I'm going to have to just stick to the simple Pokemon ones though, for I lack the almighty Photoshop or Gimp or whatever <.<

And don't forget, NEVER EVER SAVE THINGS IN 24 bit map. That just completely ruins your picture.

If you want to use either of them, this one is http://zeldadungeon.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6406&d=1281712930
and the Happiny one is http://zeldadungeon.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6401&d=1281700716

You can use the links to put it in your sig without uploading them to photobucket ;)

That first one is pretty sweet.
I dunno why the joker quote is included tho...

Is it just me or is the internet's version of a gradient (where you can clearly see where the color change happen) really cool?

Looks better, you might want to try some without such a thick border around the render, sometimes that can be distracting or offset the image.

SheikahWarrior

I like the thick borders <.< plus with what I'm using it's really really REALLY hard to use it without the large border >.>

I like these. You should do more. ^^ Which program do you use? Also, I recommend removing the white background and saving them as PNGs (Portable Network Graphics). It's just a pet peeve of mine when I highlight stuff and its background is just a camoflauge to the actual page color. I like rendered images with trasparent backgrounds. :P Other than that, I love them. You should take requests sometime. ^^

SheikahWarrior

I just do them on paint <.< which means I pretty much have to just do a camoflauge of the page colour >.>
But yeah, I would take requests if anyone asked for them :3

Newwwww :P

I decided randomly to make a panda sig <.<

Paint.......

If you don't have Photoshop, get GIMP. It's infinitely better than Paint... anything is better than Paint.

No, you don't. I render with MS Paint all the time.
--I take a color that is not already on the image—I usually do a bright pink, then I color in the background I do not want with that color. Then go to ‘edit’, ‘select all’. Simply copy the picture into PowerPoint.
►If you have Office 2003, on the picture toolbar, click ‘set transparent color’, then click your background color. It should disappear with a lovely clear background. Scale down one grid size if you don’t want such sharp edges.
►If you have Office 2007, click on the picture. Then go to the navigation bar at the top and click something along the lines of ‘edit picutre’. It should be on the far right. Then go to the coloring menu (on the left of the picture toolbar), and click ‘set transparent color’. Again, you would scale down one grid size if you do not want sharp edges.
--Now, when ready to save it, right click the image and select ‘save a picture’.
*Be sure to save in PNG format, or your render will no longer be on the picture.

It's still easier just to use a program that let's you render .pngs, instead of going through all that and using multiple programs.

I... do not have Powerpoint either <.<
Oh well, back to camoflauge it is :P

What Kitsu said, just download Gimp 2.0 for free. It's the poor man's version of Photoshop, but Paint is just something that fails miserably compared to both.

I used to use Paint, but then I met GIMP. Ahhhh, that happy day. It made image life so much easier!

Honestly though, go onto my lonely art thread no one visits. You can see my pathetic Paint sigs, and then see the GIMP ones, and the quality just gets much much better. It's free, and easy, and my parents let me download it, if that's also what you're worried about. They shouldn't mind.
If they do, sock me in the face.

Click the button on the front page that says "Download". You can't miss it, when it finishes downloading, open up the .exe and follow the instructions until it's installed.

Do you want me to walk you through an entire signature? lol

Find a couple nice renders from a site or on Google. Make sure they are in .png and save them to your computer. Open them in GIMP and then copy then into your signature file. To get your signature file you should click New and then set the pixel sizes for your signature. Make a background or whatever and then copy in the renders. It's not that hard... You can start out simple. Use a gradient for the background or something.

there are some tutorials that show you how to make signatures on youtube.I do believe that they have videos that they show you how to add more brushes, you usually can find some brushes that you can download and add to gimp from deviantart.com.It takes time to make good looking signatures I'm still learning and its been a year since I started making them. Here is a tutorial that I found for people who are new to gimp and all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZshWR319KLQ&feature=related
