In this thread I basically want people to share with everyone the very first music Vinyl, CD, Tape or whatever. It can be an album or a single.

But, more importantly I want you to tell whether you still have it now and still listen to it?

The very first music CD I bought was a single by the band Crazy Town called "Butterfly". I stopped listening to it a while back because I had the internet, however today I found it again and listened to it, the nostalgia rating was immense. Was the influence behind this thread.

My first vinyl was given to me by my father; yesterday and today by the beatles. YES I still have that thing. It's worth over 600 bucks now. haha. But I still listen to it because I love the beatles.

My first cassette was the California Raisins. I lost it! ):

My first CD was Limp Bizcuit's Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water, and no, it broke a few months after I got it.

The first Cd I ever bought was Selena: Dreaming of You. I gave the cd to my sister once I copied the songs to my old pc, I only have two songs currently but my sister has the cd, so if I want the other songs, I will just ask her for it. I've bought other Cds aside from that one, but you wanted to know only the first one, so there. And yes, I do listen to the songs still. :P

The first CD I ever got was -- It makes me sad to say -- Chris Brown's first Studio Album. I still have it, but it's just not my type of music anymore. I prefer my rock, both newer and older, which goes to show that I obviously don't listen to it anymore.

My very first vinyl record was Duran Duran - Wild Boys back in 1984.
Very first vinyl album was Madonna - Material Girl
Very first CD must have been one of Boney M (I don't know for sure)

Wow, this is hard to remember. I think my first album was probably Gorillaz, an Aerosmith cd, or a Run Dmc cd. I am not sure what though. I am not a big fan of Aerosmith anymore, but regardless, all of those bands were an introduction to listening to music myself, and have been a big influence on me.
