Favorite Animal?

I hope this hasn't been done before, I did do a search and no fave animal threads showed up, so here we go. What's your favorite animal, and feel free to tell why it is. Also feel free to attach a pic or vid of your favorite animal.

Mine is the leopard. Not only because they're gorgeous animals with their spotted coat, but they're also amazing hunters, working alone and usually at night, and use stealth to stalk and take down their prey. They're very intelligent too .. often times they'll carry their prey up a tree so other predators can't challenge them for it. Also, pound for pound they're among the strongest wild cats.

I grew up with dogs, catys, birds and rabbits. Because I am heavy allergic the only animal I can keep as a pet would be a goldfish............ But I would love to have a cat over here. I really wish it could :( But my fav animal is a rabbit and my fav wildlife animal would be the Tiger

That being said, my late grandmother used to collect owl items. My sister and I both are partial to them now, though my sister is the only one who continues collecting things. Still, I can't see anything owl-related without thinking of her.

I love animals so much. My favourite animal is Dog. Dog is a human best friend. I have Doberman Dog at my home. It is such a good friend of me. It is also useful for security of home. Everyday I play one hour with my Dog. It is like our family member.

Birds with absolutely 0 doubt. Cats used to be my favorite animal, and I never saw how anybody thought dogs were the best animal. I have a pet bird, it is a cockatoo, and yes, a type of parrot. He is extremely intelligent. Says only a few words, my name, hello, good-bye, goodnight, the basics, and is extremely awesome. Just about anybody can come up and pet him; he's so used to people after only a few months. Like I said, he's absolutely awesome. He's rather young yet, only 13 or so years old, so he can get rowdy, likes to chew on things, etc., but he's still the best animal EVER.

Hamsters. Trust me, if you've ever had a hamster like my little Dusty or Sonic, then you would know why Hamsters are one of the best animals out there. Oh, and my sister's hamster (named Chip) was a great hamster too. One of the sweetest little guys you'd ever meet. Just look at the following pics.

Second up would be dogs. Honestly, they're adorable, loyal, smart, and most of all they're fun to be around. Sure, puppies can be a hassle but it's worth it to see them grow up into fine young dogs. My little Benny proves my point exactly.

I would say a general household pet or one which can be in the family, and really the latter part just extends to the equine species.

My favorite animal is the penguin. I love emperor penguins, but I'm not too fond of jackass penguins, though. Yes, that is what they used to be called, now its African penguin, but I knew them as the former, so that's what I'm calling them. Its just a force of habit.

For a household pet, I would say a dog, but I would have to say a cat. Cats are much better than dogs, in my opinion. Dogs are exceptionally cute as puppies, but when they're grown, they just get annoying. Cats are cute when they're kittens and even when grown-up, well, I think so, anyway. I think cats are easier to take care of, too.

Snakes are my #1 favorite animal with any type of cat right behind (though Snow Leopards are one probably my favorite cat) and third would be a tie between dogs, bats and birds. After that I don't really have a ranking.

I have a weakness for sharks. They are such beautiful creatures and they are so perfectly designed for living in the ocean. I don't have a specific species of shark that is my favorite. I also like cats a lot. I have to admit that I like the smaller wild cats better than the big cats. I've always admired eagles. It's probably due to the imagery which Americans often use to depict freedom with eagles, but they've always seemed full of freedom and strength. I'd love to soar with them. ^_^

They're such cute animals, but also big responsibilities. I'd love to have one if I could trust myself to be able to take care of it, but I think I'll just visit them at the zoo.:D My friend's friend is supposedly getting one, however, so maybe there will be one I can visit and play with only a block or so away.

I like that they are the clever animal. Their craftiness is almost mythical in some countries and has created a few beliefs based on their habits. Then there is the raccoon. Who seem to be a little better than the fox in some areas.

I like the look of the raccoon, but I also like the look of the Fox. They are both crafty individuals, and I have not completely decided which is better in that regard. Nor can I decide which I like the look of more. I like the fox's color and the large tail, but I also like the raccoon mask and stripes. Fortunately nature has listed to my woes and created an answer to my indecisiveness.
