Hockey and the NHL

So anybody here as crazy about Hockey as I am? I'm a Hockey-addict. It is the only sport I follow closely (besides the WC soccer for now thanks to Atsuma :P)
My fav team is the Philadelphia Flyers. I'm a diehard fan and was happy when I went to LA last November and saw my fav team in reality and win!!
My other fav teams are the Ducks, the Hurricanes (I saw them play against each other in Anaheim last November) and the Bolts (Tampa Bay Lightning).
My fav hockeyplayers besides the whole Flyers team are: Eric Lindros (alltime fav) Alexander Semin, Paul Kariya, Teemu Selanne and Stamkos.

Only team I watched a few times were the Buffalo Sabres, Vee :P but I did not wanna mention anything of that to you since you would probably go crazy on me. I really don't know much about hockey, but I have watched several matches...at least two full games on tv and highlights on ESPN. Aside from liking soccer, I enjoy the NFL and NBA, though not much, I prefer to play the sports better. XD

All teams who have come back from a 0-3 to win won the stanley cup. That means the Flyers got an asterisk next to their name this year!!!!!

So NOT true. Not true at all! Flyers had a pretty lousy season so they are the biggest surprise in the whole NHL. Nobody expected them to go to the Playoffs and humiliate the Bruins (my bro is a Bruins fan) and even reached the finals! No need to call my Team stupid. I don't do that to yours either. Stay polite please and respect each other's personal choices

I'm not a big NHL fan. But, the only teams that I can really cheer for are the black hawks and the predators (sp?). Sorry Miss Bigelover.:P I did cheer for the flyers last season though because my dad started posting random facebook statuses every time the Hawks scored lol and he yelled a lot too which was annoying, but I guess that's how it is.. :/

I'm a crazy hockey fan, my faovrite team is the Alaska Aces in the ECHL because thats my hometown team. I will go to nearly every home game of theirs and I always go crazy at the games. My favorite teams in the NHL are the Anaheim Ducks, the Carolina Hurricanes and the Phildelphia Flyers in that order. They all have great players and some goons on the team to make things interesting. My least favorite teams are the Stockton Thunder and the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL and the Chichago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. The reason I don't like the Thunder is because most of their players have a bad attitude and will fake injuries. I don't like the Stingrays because they would throw cheap shots and never get called. I despise the Blackhawks because of Kane and Towes, they're so arrogant and are no better than Sidney Crybaby on the Penguins.

My favorite players in the NHL are Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, Bobby Ryan and J.S. Giguere. Getzlaf, Perry and Ryan are all Ducks and Giguere used to be a Duck because the Ducks got ripped off in that horrible trade last year. I can live with it though, I like Hiller and I think he can lead the team to a better year that the last one. My favorite player who was on the Aces was Judd Blackwater, he's now in the CHL because the idiot coach (Brent Thompson), thought it would be a bad idea to sign him on for another year. Even though there is no NHL hockey in Alaska I still follow it closely and I watch the Stanley Cup Finals every year. Hopefully some great new players can be introduced to make the game even more interesting than it is now.

Hahhah AlaskaAce I love your avy!! The new NHL season has started and of course I follow my team closely. Until now not really big surprises. But of course the season is still very long. I went to the NHL premiere in Prague last week and was sitting next to the Coyotes bench and got the game puck used in the first periode by backup goalie Jason Labarbera! I cherish that puck forever!!

Personally i am a big fan of hockey since i'm from toronto and well the maple leafs are doing somewhat well this season not like last season where it ended up being the worst finish for us in 20 years to be quite honest. Also the fact we're on a 3 game losing streak at the moment due to some sloppy offense and defense on our front, it is kinda sad.

I live in Toronto so I'm somewhat inclined to cheer for the Leafs. This season started out well for us, but since the loss to the Islanders (Islanders, really? >_>) its been going downhill. I still beLEAF, however... It'll be our season again, soon.

Provided of course 2 things happen, we get rid of beauchemin of all things since he cost us dearly in last night's game and the offense and defense smartens up, btw the islanders right now are on top of their division so i wouldn't say bad about the isles even though the leafs are also still on top of their division
