How is Fierce Deity a nooby huh nooby? And you can only play as him during the Majora boss battle, unless you use a cheat and/or glitch.

Not true, you can use him when you replay any boss, if you care to replay classics like this ever, I recommend it. You can beat all of the bosses with Oni Link and no other masks.

Thats not during the main quest....I dont think MM is truly a classic, I suggest you replay the real classics. Bet you didn't even know there is a second quest for LoZ, let alone the third quest.

I had an editor on my computer that would allow me to alter the original LoZ game, I modded in a 4th quest. And Nintendo, on the collectors disk, said that it included "4 classic LoZ games", so I'm left to think that if Nintendo feels it's a classic, it's a classic.

You had Zelda Classic, I doubt you can program. And what does that have to do with the true 2nd and 3rd quests?

It wasn't me programming, it was a program that allowed you to edit the dungeons but came with a copy of the original game, in case you wanted to mod that too and not start from scratch. This means I had time to look at the ends and outs of the game, aside from simply beating it.
But no, I can barely do web. I stick with lower-level graphics.

Since you only use FD once (without going back, or hacks, or cheats) I don't think it's nooby. Yes, If you use the glitch where you could be him anywhere ALL THE TIME and you rely on him, yes, It's a little nooby.

That would depend on what term we're talking about. If we are reffering to noob, like someone who sucks, then no. The FD mask is earned and takes quite a few hours to get. But if someone came on my MM file and could only beat bosses with that mask, then yeah, they're a noob.
But I'd reccomend doing a playthrough with out the mask, and then doing one with it, just so you can truely appreciate how much of a help it is.

I'm sure you would know all about it:shy:
Anyway, it's not nooby(which can mean many things) the player that uses it non-stop is a noob and can't beat anything with out it.
P.S. Avenged, go play the other classics

In twenty or thirty years, the Wii will be a classic too. "Classic" is in the eye of the beholder.

Right. One could say classic is something which is not current, or newly released...Or I guess they could say what was released first, or around the time of the first games. I consider classic to be something that was new at one point, but has since been redone by another generation title. All Zelda titles other than say, at this moment, Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass, and maybe even Wind Waker, would be considered classic to me. The reason I say, other than Wind Waker, is that it really hasn't been very long since the game was released.
But anyway, back on topic, the Fierce Diety mask isn't nooby in my opinion. I hate the word "noob", in fact, because it is simply a term which refers to someone who is just starting out, and aren't as good as say, people who have been playing the game a good portion of the game's life. We all were noobs at one point, and shouldn't look down upon those who maybe can't beat the game the hardest way possible because they haven't played it enought yet to acquire those skills.
The mask itself, however, is also something that takes much time to gain. If you are willing to put as much time into getting all the masks in the game, just to have it, then by all means it is an advantage, a reward in a sense, rather than something that is "nooby". And its ok if some kid plays the game, who someone has already beat, and uses the mask whenever they fight a boss. You wouldn't expect them to up and wear out Majora the first time they had played that type of game.

It is somthing to be earned, that is all. if you spent the time needed to gain the mask, you deserve it, sure, it feals kinda cheap if you did like i did and got some of the magic milk that gives you infinite magic, then fought MM and it's form as feirce deity so you had infinite shots my first play through... it felt kinda cheap, sure, but then i turned around and beat it without it as well. regardless of which way it is done, it's still a challenge, just much less challenging when you can basically sit somwhere and bash the B button over and over.
So is it nooby? not at all. Is MM a classic title? not yet, the classics are the originals, ALLTP may even be concidered a classic. MM is not even ten eyars old. OoT is concidered a classic by me, but thats ebcause it's an aamzing game and already a decade old... but even then, thats my own thoughts.
lets not hate each other people, throwin random insults here and there is rediculas.
I agree with the others. You work hard for that mask, and it's a good reward.
I enjoyed using it with Majora.
I mean, sure it makes the boss a lot easier, but that doesn't make it "nooby". Besides, it's not like you NEED to use the mask.

Ya it isnt exactly nooby because its fun using it.But you cant use it all the time.
Ok, he means that the mask is nooby because it has spammy overpowered attacks.
Instead of using the challenge given and fighting Majora or a boss like a man, you use a cheatsy easy way out mask.
Not that I think that, but that's what he's asking.

and what we are saying is just because it's over powered doesnt make it nooby. thats like asking if the Big Goron's sword is nooby because it's more powerful than the master sword, or using the deku nuts like crazy to stun your enemies before you strike, etc.

No the bigorron sword isnt nooby but if you use deity too much it is kinda nooby.

I've never even gotten the FD mask, but I wouldn't say it's nooby. If you could use it everywhere, then it might be kinda cheap. I thought that fighting the bosses without it was easy enough, with the exception of Gyorg.

i just LOVE feirce deity. he is just awesome how at the end of legend of zelda majoras mask how he destroys majora. well it happeneds if you get the mask. so i don't think he's a nooby.
Ive never bothered getting the Bigorron sword, does it wear out? Im happy just using the Razor sword.
I'd have to say that the FD mask is only as nooby as the light arrow.
Except you can use the light arrow everywhere.

The Biggorron Sword is only in OoT, not MM. Perhaps you meant the Gilded Sword, which is the same as the Razor Sword exept it dosen't break. You can also get the Great Fairy Sword after collecting all the stray fairies in Stone Tower Temple, witch is stronger than the Gilded Sword but is not a B-item, but a C-item.
Ah, yes, that is what I meant.

Now, I don't believe FD Link is nooby.
Fierce Deity Link is the most powerful Link you can transform into in any game, he is the Ultimate Link. He shoots a beam from his sword, gis sword looks cool, he is tall and can reach much higher places, and he is only in MM. I have used him so much and I have owned everyone with him, I don't see how he is nooby.
Though, what you think is what you think, so I guess if you think he is nooby, then I can't change your mind.

They mean nooby because he is so over powered. He can kill Odolwa in four shots.

Well, at least they didn't allow you to use him throughout the whole game after you obtain the mask, so that's a little minus.
But, I do think he was majorly overpowered, but he did provide a challenge to obtain, and let me tell you he was a HUGE help in the battle with Majora, which sort of adds to the point. Majora went from kind of a harder boss to a more easy one.

I think he is nooby. Tall enough to raech hard to get to places, sword shooting beams...it takes the challege away. And zelda is useless if its not chanleging.

Considering you have to 100% the main quest (if you don't have all the masks the first time around) and 100% the Mask quests, I feel like Oni Link is more of a bonus than cheating. I mean come on, anyone who took the time to get the couples mask deserves more of a reward than just a completed credits and a full mask screen. xD
Plus, it's fun going back to visit your "old friends" the bosses of the temples for a rematch.
Well simply going from the definition of noob:
A noob or n00b is someone that lacks intelligence or common sense, most people think that noob is a word used only in the online gaming world, but in reality it is becoming an ever popular word with teenage society.
a noob could be simply a level 100 running round shouting ''WTF DO I GO!?'' or someone calling someone else a noob and then getting hit with a brick, anyone can call anyone a noob, but normally they are noobs themselves
someone who is new to a game, or website, online game, or something.
A "noob" is a person who is new or inexperienced in a subject, usually an online game. Noobs are usually annoying and excessively stupid. Do not confuse noobs with newbs, who are inexperienced players that tend to be more mature and strive to become better.
Then I would say no because he sure as hell doesn't seem inexperienced. But as with Chise (and maybe others, but that's the only I cared to look at), I feel it's more of a bonus for completing the game. Kind of a prize for beating the game.

Not at all, as you have to basically be an expert/get a guide to even obtain the mask, in terms of being overpowered, yes it is, but a "noob/newb/nub" player would not be capable of getting the mask in the first place.
