We’ve been teasing a bit all day Tuesday, but we’re at E3 playing those Nintendo games, especially the ones featuring something from The Legend of Zelda series. As is explained in the video, the Link costume in Super Mario Maker is based upon the amiibo that the creator used for the question mark mushrooms. So it’s a power up in the sense that it gives you a new look, but also allows you to take one extra hit.

Adam, the host and editor for the Zelda Informer Podcast (We crossed 100,000 podcast listens in just 40 episodes…thanks everyone!), was lucky enough to try out Super Mario Maker on the big screen with his own announcer. Of course, his Mario skills were absolutely pathetic, but he didn’t really do any worse than Cosmo in the finals of the Nintendo World Championships (not sure if that is a sick burn or major props to Adam for being mentioned in the same sentence). Either way, he looks like he had a pretty great time.

That said, we all know what you really want to know: how is Tri Force Heroes? Don’t worry, our crew at E3 has you covered. You’ll have to stay tuned as we will be ramping up our coverage from the show floor, along with a few special videos, over the next few days.
