The time has come once again to use expensive software for trivial purposes: a Photoshop Contest is upon us!

We’re asking readers to submit the funniest, most creative, or most awe-inspiring pictures they can produce within the guidelines we suggest. This week, we’re using Photoshop to send Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, to a place he doesn’t want to revisit. But first, let’s take a look at the winners from last week’s contest: Zelda TV Show.

Last Week’s Contest

Pictures were selected based on their creativity, quality, and how effectively they demonstrated the image-manipulation abilities of the artists.

Best Submissions

Artist: Gameghoul

Artist: Janus 3003

Matt_Dempsey‘s entry takes the prize for Fan Favorite this week 19 upvotes.

We didn’t have submissions for last week’s Challenge Mode, so we’re guessing it was just too hard.

This Week’s Contest: Stressed Aonuma

Recently, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma was asked what he would do if he traveled back to three days before the completion of Majora’s Mask. Aonuma laughed at the question, insisting he didn’t want to go back at all. “Three days before completion is like hell,” Aonuma said.

While Aonuma may not want to revisit the sleepless nights and unending stress that undoubtedly haunts the lives of game developers on the cusp of publishing the latest installment of a one of the most valuable IPs in the gaming industry… the magic of Photoshop lets us send him directly back to that high-pressure environment! Or another environment

While Aonuma may not want to revisit the sleepless nights and unending stress that undoubtedly haunts the lives of game developers on the cusp of publishing a triple-A title… the magic of Photoshop lets us send him directly back to that high-pressure environment! Or Aonuma could be sent to other high-stress environments, including Termina itself, the depths of the Water Temple, or the 38th floor of the Cave of Ordeals with only three heart containers.

Feel free to use any of the images posted in the gallery of this article, or anything else you need to make this concept a reality.

Deadline: Submit entries no later than next Wednesday at midnight: 11:59 p.m. PST on March 11. Entries submitted after this Deadline will not be considered.

Challenge Mode

For those of you wishing to tackle a much more difficult Photoshop challenge, make sure your submission includes the phrase Challenge Accepted in the comment you submit your photo in, and be sure to follow the Challenge Rule below. Remember, Challenge Mode submissions follow the same rules and guidelines of the base Photoshop Contest in addition to the Challenge Rule.

Challenge Rule: Make Aonuma look stressed but also victorious! An exhausted conqueror! A not-quite-collapsed champion! Bunny Hood also strongly encouraged for inclusion.

Good luck!
