Daily Debate: What Zelda amiibo Should Nintendo Release Next?

We recently reported on screenshots of a Tingle costume in the upcoming Super Mario Maker found on Miiverse. Whether true or not, this news has caused fans to consider the release of a Tingle amiibo figure sometime in the near future. With the Ganondorf figure to be released next month, Nintendo is obviously not done with amiibo inspired by The Legend of Zelda. So with that in mind, what Zelda amiibo should Nintendo release next?

There are countless possibilities for amiibo inspired by more classic Zelda characters. Fan favorites like Ghirahim and Tetra would certainly make great figures, and they could even be released within an amiibo set alongside Hyrule Warriors Legends. Personally, I’d like to see Midna and a Cucco amiibo added to the roster.

With certain special edition Super Mario amiibo released by Nintendo recently, such as the 8-bit and gold Marios, there lies the possibility that special edition Link figures could be released as well. I know I’d love to see an 8-bit or Young Link amiibo added to my collection one day. And with the release Tri Force Heroes later this year, fans could even see figures based on the colored Links from the game (even if they won’t be used in the game itself). It’s too bad Purple Link would likely be ignored in that scenario.
