Walkthrough
The shrine is located at the Spring of Power, which is just west of the East Akkala Stable. However, in order to access the shrine, you will need to complete a Shrine Quest. For this particular shrine, you will need to show the Goddess Statue one of Dinraal’s scales.
Dinraal is the giant fire dragon that can often be seen hovering around the far north end of the Overworld map. I recommend hanging out on a higher ledge, just south of the Eldin Great Skeleton. On many nights, just after midnight, Dinraal will appear from the sky in the Akkala direction. The dragon will swoop down, almost to the ground level near the Eldin Great Skeleton. Paraglide over so that you are close to Dinraal and then shoot it with an arrow, causing it to drop a scale. Run over and grab it from the nearby location.
Take the shrine back to the Spring of Power and show it to the Goddess Statue. The statue will reveal an opening behind it, allowing you to access the shrine.
The actual shrine is another Major Test of Strength shrine. Early on in the battle, try to perform some Perfect Dodges, followed by flurry rushes to do a maximum amount of damage. When the guardian leaps back to perform his massive spin attack, there are no walls to hide behind in this shrine. However, we can make walls as the ground is water. Use Cryonis to create some ice blocks that separate the space between you and the Guardian Scout. He will come crashing into them, leaving him vulnerable for a few moments.
As always, when the guardian is low on energy, it will start using its blue laser attack, creating a circle around it. You can shoot its eye directly with an arrow to stun the guardian. If you want to try to get close, use the updraft and glide right next to the guardian. In its final attack, it will charge and shoot four consecutive lasers. Just keep on the run and when he is recharging, run up and deliver a number of sword slashes. When the Guardian Scout has been defeated, open up the treasure chest ahead and get a Flamespear. Speak with the monk, Tutsuwa Nima. He will reward you with a Spirit Orb.
