Walkthrough

The shrine is hidden and you’ll need to complete a Shrine Quest in order to find it. Make your way to the southeast corner of the Wasteland Tower region, just south of Mount Granajh. You will find the ruins of an old building and on a table there is a diary. When read, this will trigger the Secret of the Snowy Peaks Shrine Quest. Just south of the building, if you look up against the wall there is a circular platform.

The solution of this puzzle is that you need to grab and lift up a snowball, found in the water right next to the old building. Carry that snowball over to this circular orb on the wall. You must wait until the sun shines on the orb, casting a shadow onto the center of the wall. This will happen as you approach 4pm, so you’ll have to wait it out. There is some firewood by the ruins, so you can create a fire and skip ahead until noon.

Right at 4pm and shortly after, the sun is at the right angle so the shadow fills the center of the circle. It has to fill it complete as it is quite precise. Doing so will cause the shrine to appear from beneath the ground.

Inside the shrine you will find a lone treasure chest that contains a Moonlight Scimitar. Run over and speak with the monk, Suma Sahma. He will reward you with a Spirit Orb.
