Walkthrough

The shrine is located on an island at the southeast corner of the Overworld. You can reach the island by using a Korok Leaf and a raft. Alternatively, you can just Paraglide over from Cape Cales if you have a couple Stamina Upgrades. As soon as you land on the island, you will hear from the monk and it will trigger the start of the Shrine Quest titled Stranded on Eventide. Once you arrive at the island, all of your gear will be gone. This includes your weapons, shields, bows, recovery materials, and your armor. It will be as if you are back on the Great Plateau once again.

You will need to scavenge some new weaponry. Remember, you still have your Runes, and with that an unlimited supply of bombs. Those should be the most frequent items that you use.

There are three spherical orbs on the island, as well as three circular pedestals. The goal here is to find the three orbs and to place them in three corresponding pedestals. You can do these in any order. The first orb is located at the center-east portion of the island. Here there is a small Bokoblin camp and the orb is found on the higher ledge.

I recommend sneaking towards the area from the higher ledge to the north. From here you can toss a weak weapon at one of the Bokoblin archers. You don’t actually have to kill many of these Bokoblins and all you really need to do is run up, grab the orb, and run off. However, I find this orb the easiest to get and the enemies aren’t too difficult. Use bombs and when you pickup weapons, use them to get rid of the enemies.

Grab the orb and you want to head towards the far north end of the island. Make your way over and then toss the orb in the water towards the pedestal. You will need to use Cryonis to create an ice block underneath the orb and from there, toss it into the hole.

The next orb is located at the center-west portion of the island and it is being held by a Hinox. Before even dealing with the Hinox, I would suggest climbing up the hill at the west end of the island as that is where the pedestal is located. You want to clear out this area as best you can, defeating all the enemies and then lifting the blocks to reveal the pedestal.

Now you can take on the Hinox. In all practicality, you don’t want or need to defeat the Hinox. I would suggest attacking him from higher up, near the pedestal. You can roll the boulder down, as well as use the large flame barrels. Once the Hinox is awake it will slowly but surely make its way up to the top of the hill. You want to stun the Hinox when he comes near and you can that by shooting its eye with an arrow, or tossing a weak weapon at its eye. Alternatively you can use some bombs. Once the Hinox is weakened, it will fall to the ground. Run up and try to grab the orb while it is stunned. Take the orb and then run away towards the Pedestal. It might take a couple tries but repeat this process until the orb is in place.

The last orb is located at the south end of the island. Climb up on the hill and you’ll find a bunch of Bokoblins and an enemy Moblin. Use bombs to get rid of them and watch out for the archers in the distance. I recommend using arrows to take out the archers early if you have any. The pedestal is located beneath a large object. Use Stasis and then hit it a bunch of times to clear it of the pedestal. Grab the orb from the Bokoblin camp and place it in the pedestal.

With all three orbs in place, the shrine will reveal itself and you will get all your items back. Climb up and enter the shrine. There is a lone treasure chest here that contains a Gold Rupee. Run over and speak with the monk, Korgu Chideh, and he will reward you with a Spirit Orb.
