Breath of the Wild Champions amiibo Functionality Revealed, Will Unlock New Headgear Based on Divine Beasts

During today’s Nintendo Direct, we received more information regarding the Breath of the Wild Champions amiibo. In addition to a release date of November 10th, we learned that the figures will unlock weapons and materials in the game. But perhaps the most exciting aspect of these amiibo’s functionality is that each respective figure will unlock a new piece of headgear inspired by the Divine Beast associated with it.
Nintendo did state that the amiibo will have “functional purposes” as well, but offered no specific information. We will know more about these purposes “soon”.
