NOTE: This guide will only cover the bosses that are in the game a lot once.

Chief Soldier -
Boss #1 and 7

The chief soldier is defeated the same way throughout the entire game whenever you meet him. Wait for him to get ready to slash at you. Then move out of the way and hit him from the side or behind. Square formation works best because you can get the most hits at once.

Shadow Link -
Boss #2,5,13,17, and 23

The same goes for Shadow Link like the chief soldier. He is defeated the same way every time you see him. Just slash at him and eventually, after you hit him a couple times, he will jump up and change to one certain color. Attack shadow link with that color of link until he is defeated. As you get farther in the game, shadow link multiplies and you must find the right shadow link to kill. Killing the wrong ones will give you 100 Force Gems.

Phantom Ganon -
Boss #3 and 15

Phantom Ganon shows up only twice in the game, unlike the past two bosses. Watch out for his sword slash attack and wait for him to power up his energy ball. Hit it back to him and keep doing it until he falls. In multiplayer, you will have to hit it to another player first, then that player will hit it back to ganon. The second time you battle him, he has three extra helpers. Just make sure you hit the real ball. The white ones give you hearts only if you hit them.

Manhandla -
Boss #4

This boss is very simple. All you have to do is send the right link out to hit the right color on Manhandla. Hit the wrong one and you have to restart. It gets faster as you get more parts of him down.

Stone Arrghus -
Boss #6

As soon as you start the battle, jump down a hole and grab a boomerang. Throw the boomerang at the little rocks surounding stone arrghus to pull them in. Once you pull them in, slash to kill them. After all are down, Arrghus gets mad and starts going up real high. Move out of the way, so the shockwave doesn't affect you. Hit him once he gets close to you and repeat it until he is dead. He does a shockwave every time you hit him a few times.

Helmaroc King -
Boss #8

He returns from Wind Waker, but he isn't that hard. Pick up a bomb and wait for him to come down. Once he swoops down, throw the bomb at his face to make him run into a building. Hurry inside the building and grab a hammer if you don't have one. Smash his face in and repeat. Beware of the rocks that fall when he doesn't swoop down. After you get his mask off, he will try to swoop down and get you every time. Throw bombs at him again and slash him when he falls. It shouldn't take more that three turns to make him explode just like everything else.

Dodongos -
Boss #9

These dodongos are simple. Just put bombs in their mouth when they open them for a fire blast. Make sure you get that bomb way down his throat. You don't want to be blown up. It takes three bombs to kill one.

Big Dark Stalfos -
Boss #10, 14, 16, and 19

This may confuse you at first, but you won't be once you kill him the first time. Kill his minions in the light world first, then you will be sucked into the dark world. Do the same with him as you do with the chief soldier. Beware though, he can also hit you in the light world.

Big Poe -
Boss #11 and 12

He will be your boss for the next two times. The first time, you must step on a light switch that is near him to make him vulnerable. Slash him and he will then release small poes after you. Don't worry about them, just focus on the main boss.
The second time you battle him, you need to light up all four torches and then hit him. He will suck you into him. Just cut him up a few times and you will be released. Do it again two or three more times and he is done for.

Big Moldorm -
Boss #18

It's been awhile since a new boss has been around. This guy can be a pain. Take one link at a time and slash the tail with the same color as the link. Then, it will change. Do this again and he will split into two different ones. It's the same thing, but you just need to be more careful not to be hit too many times.

Ball and Chain Soldiers -
Boss #20

The easiest way to defeat these dorks is to just jump and bash down on them. In square formation, it should kill him in one or two hits. It's very effective.

Frostare -
Boss #21

This guy is not as hard as he may seem. Don't worry about the birds right now, just get to the door at the top right and step on a switch to make the half bridge thing appear. Go across that and the other side and go into a door. Up the ladder, you will find a little monster thing that holds up frostare. Go nuts on that and he will start to fly around. Go down and slash him from the air in the eye. He will fall you the ground like a rock and that will be your chance to get down there and kill him. Do this a couple more times and he is over.

Big Dodongo -
Boss #22

Same strategy as the others, but you need to grab level two bombs from the treasure chest. You know what to do next.

Shadow Link (Final) -
Boss #23

This will be the last time you ever have to battle him in the game. He is different this time, now he will keep coming back. Keep killing him until Zelda shows up to help. She will stop the flow and that will be your chance to get rid of any other shadow links out there. No mroe will show up after this.

Vaati -
Boss #24

To finish off Vatti, you must time this right. Throw bombs into the tornado at the right time to hurt him. He will give that up eventually. Then, fall down in the middle hole into the cannon. Shoot yourself up at the right time to do a strike in midair. It will be over soon.

Ganon -
Final Boss #25

If you still thought Vatti was the end, you were wrong. He comes back and is ready to do anything to kill you. Dodge his bolts and slash him as many times as you can. If you get hit by a bolt, you will be sent into the dark world and you have to kill the enemies to get back. He starts to throw his trident at you now. Be careful, it has a long range. If you have lots of force fairies (you should), then don't worry about health. Zelda will come in and you need to aid her while she powers up a ball of light. Strike the balls back at Ganon when possible. Zelda will then shoot out the ball of light. Take out the bow and shoot the ball into Ganon. It's over now!
