BS - The Legend of Zelda : Game Info
BS The Legend of Zelda was an expanded version of The Legend of Zelda that was only released in Japan. The storyline is exactly the same, but the graphics were totally changed. The BS Zelda game itself had two different versions, map 1 and map 2. Map 1's overworld was exactly the same as the original, but map 2 a bit different. These maps are often refered to as the third and fourth quest of The Legend of Zelda.
The game's clock was displayed in real time and at certain times your game's progress, game events would happen. Events like enemies freezing, enemies killed, appearance of a fairy, unlimited use of items for a limited time, item upgrades, and sometimes even downgrades. Since the original BS game was based on a clock, players had to beat the game in a limited time for the game will end.
At the given time, the game would be presented as four episodes for which the players had to download. The two maps were only available for download from the following dates.

But thanks to a few hackers and emulators, the game can now be enjoyed by anyone today. Although the game has been changed with patches several times to better the game, the original game can be downloaded as well.
