-Wisdom Gems are found all throughout your quest and they are used to power up the ability of Neri, the Spirit of Wisdom, who is saved after defeating the Temple of Wind.
Below is a listing of all 20 Wisdom Gems that Link finds on his quest. When Link has collected 10 Wisdom Gems he can restore a portion of Neri's Power. In order to do so, he must take the gems to Spirit Island, which is a hidden Island located just south of Molida Island.
If Link has collected all 20 of these gems, he can take them to the spring to Spirit Island a fully restore the Power of Neri.
-Available at Beedle's Shop Ship in the South West quadrant 500 rupees. While this is the first wisdom gem that Link can actually get, it is quite expensive for this early in the game and it is best to leave for a later time.
-Found in a treasure chest just East of Zauz's hut. It is on a higher ground and cannot be reached with just Link's feet. In order to get to the higher platform, grab one of the cucco's that are around Zauz's garden and head just East. Use the cucco to glide over to the platform. Open the treasure chest to get the Wisdom Gem.
Location: Isle of Gust - Miniblin Pit Required Items: None
-In a cave near the center of the Isle of Gust. There is a group of Miniblins here which can easily be defeated. Once defeating them all a treasure cheat will appear which contains a treasure map. Just next to it is a treasure chest that was already there which contains the Wisdom Gem.
-After defeating the Temple of Wind, you have access to Salvatore's Cannon game on Bannan Island. After playing the game and making friends with Salvatore, he will later send you a letter in the mail, and with it, a Wisdom Gem.

-Once Link has completed the Temple of Wind, head on over to Astrid's house at the Isle of Ember. She is happy to hear of Link's accomplishments and rewards him with another gem.
Location: Molida Island - Northern Woods Required Items: Shovel
-After finding the hide-out of the wayfarer under the tree, at the end of that path are stairs leading to the Northern woods. Just outside is a dig spot. Dig there and fall down the hole to find the chest.
Location: Temple of Courage - B1 Required Items: Bow
-At the South East corner, there is a device that guides an arrow in the direction it is facing. Hit it with the boomerang so it is facing North. Shoot an arrow into it and it will be guided to the eye which will reveal the chest.
Location: Mercay Island - Northeast Isle Required Items: Bow, Bombs
-This Wisdom Gem is found next to Freedle. In order to get to Freedle, you must first find Bomb Cavern #1 East of the Temple of the Ocean King. Use your bow on the eye inside Bomb Cavern #1 and continue South. Once outside, there is a statue that shoots a ray of light. According to the stone, you must face it parallel to the Temple of the Ocean King and the Milk Bar. The ray of light shows the place to bomb on the Northern part of the island. Continue through Bomb Cavern #2 and on the small island where Freedle is playing music lies the chest.
Location: Bannan Island - Old Wayfarer's Hut Required Items: Jolene's Letter
-After you receive the letter from Jolene, go back to the wayfarer's hut. Give the letter to the mermaid (Joanne) and she will repay you with a Wisdom Gem.
Location: Temple of the Ocean King - B9 Required Items: None
-In order to win this Wisdom Gem, Link must vanquish all Wizzrobes on B9 of the Temple of the Ocean King. The chest will appear for you to open afterwards.
Location: Temple of Ice - B1 Required Items: Grappling Hook
-The blue blocks must be down to get to the chest with the gem. When in B1, follow the East path and continue North. It waits for you at the North East corner of the area.
Location: Temple of the Ocean King - B2 Required Items: Bombs, Bombchus
-To get access to this gem, find the small area to the North West with a yellow pot in a safe zone. The wall is able to be blown up. After doing so, make a path with a Bomchu to the orb North East of your current position while avoiding the rolling log with spikes. The chest appears near to the far East next to the switch that lowers the spikes.
-During any of the difficulty levels in the Treasure Maze challenge, bomb the cracked wall on the far East end of the island. The chest is just inside the walls holding the Wisdom Gem.
-When South of the North East pyramid, there is a boulder than can be pushed in 2 directions. Push it down the stairs to the East and it will smash into another boulder. Follow the open path to the chest.
