Description:
- One of the most basic and easiest enemies in the entire game. The Red ChuChu's are extremely slow and have no real attack other than simply walking into Link. They are so easy to avoid and just one strike with the sword will take care of these guys.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
Description:
- These bat like creatures move quite quickly and fly in random patterns. Their only attack is simply flying into Link. One swipe with your sword will do the trick. If there is more than one Keese in an area, the Spin Attack works well.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
Description:
- This snake creature is rather weak. His only attack is when he runs into Link. He moves quite slowly until he notices Link, then he will dash quickly towards Link. Do away with him with one swipe of the sword.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
Description:
- Another very simple enemy. They usually are found roaming caves. They don't really attack Link, but just move in random patterns. The only way to get hurt is if Link happens to just walk into a Rat. One sword swipe will defeat this simple enemy.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:

Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
Description:
- - These things are simply two sea urchins holding some wire-like material in between them. Easily avoidable by just jumping over them. Don't both striking the sea urchins with your cannon as it takes too long and is much easier to avoid by just jumping.
Attacks:
Contact
Rock |
Defense Power:
Description:
- What good is a Zelda game without these pesky enemies. Octorok's make their return and they are just as they have always been. It will shoot rocks towards Link which can be easily blocked by just facing them with the wooden shield. These octoroks do have some health for an early enemy and take two swipes to defeat.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
- Two Hits to Defeat Blue Tektites, Three for Red |
Description:
- These jumpy creatures can be found all throughout Link's quest. They could give Link some trouble as they jump around quite randomly. They move quickly and can jump far. |
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
Description:
- Quite a step up from their Red ChuChu counterparts. The obvious difference is that the yellow ones can zap Link with their electric charge. It takes just one sword swipe to defeat the yellow chuchu, but be sure not to strike at him when he is electrified or else Link will get shocked. Also be careful because the yellow chuchu will jump towards Link.
- With the spirit of wisdom powered up and equiped, bumping into this enemy causes it to be stunned for a short time. This also works when the Yellow ChuChu is electrified. Other means of attack include ranged either with the bow, grapple, or hammer.
Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
- Two-Three Hits to Defeat |

- These blobs are really not much of a challenge for Link. One swipe with your sword will split the green slime into two smaller blobs. These smaller ones won't hurt Link, but if they jump on you, it will only slow you down. Shake them off with your stylus and finish them off with another sword strike. If you are surrounding by several green slimes at once, the spin attack is quite useful.

Attacks:
Contact |
Defense Power:
- One Hit with Boomerang to Defeat |

Devour |
Defense Power:

- Perhaps some of the most annoying enemies in the entire game, especially before you get the bombs. They dwell in sandish areas and are triggered towards sound. |
Attacks:
Burst from Rock
Contact |
Defense Power:
- One Bomb to Weaken; One Hit to Defeat |
Description:
- Another form of ChuChu. This one is not really difficult at all. Still moves quite slowly and doesn't do much harm at all. Be careful when lifting rocks as you never know if a rock chuchu is underneath or not. Once exposed, you can defeat them by tossing rocks or bombs at the them. After their rock protection is gone, they are nothing more than your standard Red ChuChu's.
- As with other enemies, there are other methods to defeating a Rock ChuChu. You can pull off it's protective rock with your grapple or smash it with the hammer. Wasting bombs on such an enemy is a bad habit.
Description:
- Phantom Eyes alert the Phantoms on that floor of where you are. It may only take one strike to defeat, but if you don't get that strike out before they buzz around you, you cannot attack them until you shake them off by rubbing the stylus. Many times it's a better idea to just run back into a safe zone.
- The quickest method to elimating the Phantom Eye is to rush it and attempt the attack straight on without stunning beforehand. You can use the boomerang to reach around the corners and get them stunned first. The other effective way would be to shoot an arrow into it before it reaches or sees you.
