The first dungeon of the game. It will start off with Ezlo talking about monsters within the dungeon and hes telling you not to be scared, and then he goes back hiding. Simply head up and you will see three blocks here.
Push the middle block to the left and head through the passage.
There are a couple enemies crawling ont he floor. Kill all five of them and then step on the four switches in the room to light the candles and open up the chest that appears to get a small key. Now head up through the locked door by using the small key you just recieved.
Head around the water here and two enemies will fall to the ground. Kill them and then walk over to the top-right of the screen. Pull the lever down the bolding the R button and holding down. It will give a passage to the middle of the room.
There is a mushroom like thing in the middle platform. Grab at it and hold right to pull. Keep pulling on it and then it will re-coil sending you over the water to the other side of the room. Kill the enemy and head up a screen.
Head on the right side of the room and head up the stairs. Step on the switch to light the candle and it will do something to the big barrell in the room. Get off the ledge and head down the stairs into the barrel. Roll yourself to the other day in the barrel. Avoid the enemies here and walk around to the set of the stairs.
A similar ledge as the other one in the room. This time you need to first push the statue onto the top switch, and stand on the bottom switch to light the torch and burn the vines leading the the barrel. Now head back around the room and into the barrel. Now that there are no vines holding the barrel in place you can roll in it so it moves, which will reveal more doors allowing Link to head through the top-right and bottom-left. For now roll downwards and head out the bottom-left door.
Head left after exiting the barrel. In this room kill the enemy and then head to the mushroom on the left. Pull this one back all the way to launch yourself over both small bodies of water. Head up the stairs and open up the chest to get the dungeon map. Head down and jump off the ledge to the left. Go the the mushroom again and pull it back, but this time only half way. It will take you to the middle ledge, where here you should head left a screen.
Kill the two enemies that fall and then flying one. There is a switch at the top-right of the screen. You need to push the small barrel at the top-left on top of the switch to reveal the bridge. Do so and then head down a screen.
In this room there are two statues and two switches. First things first, head to the left of the screen and push the statue on to the switch. Now head to the right of the screen, push the statue three times to the left so Link can get to the middle area. Now head araound and push it back twice to the right to have it sit on the switch. Open the chest that appears to get a small key. Now push either of the two blocks to the side and exit to the top.
Head back accross the bridge and head back right a screen. Head right under the ledge and push the block on the otther side down and then head back right a screen. Head back into the barrel here and move around until the upper-right passage is there and head through that one. Back outside the barrel head through the locked door on the right. Head to the right and pull the mushroom back. You need to pull it just far back enough to allow Link to get to the middle platoform. Head left and step on the switch so the bridge is revealed, then pull back on the left mushroom to launch yourself down. Head right a screen. Kill all the enemies in here first and then head to the top-right and pull back the statue past the switch. Then head to the top-left and push the state to the right onto the switch. Head through the door that opens.
Three enemies in this room. Sholdnt be to difficult. Kill all three of them and get the small key that appears int he center of the room. Head left a screen. Head up the stairs and up a screen.
Drop down from the right side and head underneath the ledge. At the top of the screen there are stairs, go down them. Head to the right side of the room first and push the right block up and the left block left to get to the treasure. Open it to get the Compass. Don't worry about the switch on left for now and simply head back up the stairs. Here head left a room. Avoid the enemies and go through the locked door at the top-left of the screen.
Here you will fight a mini-boss here. This boss is relatively simple. When hes blue, you just need to hit him on his head and he will be stunned and then turn red. He will then recover and turn blue again. Hit him on the head again and you will see a heart appear by its tail. Move around quickly and strike it as many times as possible. It will go away and he will recove to blue again. Hit him int he head again and hit him in the tail afterwords. Repeat this process until you have defeated him.
A Treasure chest will appear in the center of the room. Open it up to get the Gust Jar. This can suck things in and then shoot them back out.
Suck in the spier web at the bottom of the screen that is hiding a passage. Head down and get teh heart container that is waiting for you. Now head back up and right a screen.
The Gust Jar can suck up all the dust that is in the ground. It can also stun the enemies in this room allowing you to easily defeat them with the sword. Use the gust jar and clean up the gust in the middle and left side of the room revealing a couple switches. Step on all of them. Two chests will appear at the top-left, each containing 10 mysterious shells. Open both of them. The last switch will reveal a portal on the upper ledge. Don't mind it for now and simply head right a screen.
Suck up more of the dust here to reveal another switch which will reveal another chest. There are 20 more mysterious shells in this room. Now head back left a screen and then down a screen to get back to the barrel room.
Push the block on the left to the left and suck up all the dust and kill the enemies here. Step on the switch that appears and it will reveal a chest. Open up the chest to get 10 more mysterious shells. Now head into the barrrel.
Push the barrel around until you see a door with a web on it. Suck up the web and make it so the door is in the middle and drop down through the whole here. You will be on a square area. Ezlo will say you need to figure out a way to get out of there. Simply suck in the lilypad on the left and get on top of it. You can use the gust jar to move around the lilypad. Head down the waterful here and around the room until the water splits. Head right a screen. Move yourself to the ladder here and get off. Lift some of the outside pots allowing Link to push one of the pots onto the switch here. Now get back on the lilypad and head further along the water.
This room should look familiar. Go onto the land at the top and push a barrel onto the switch at the top left revealing a treasure. Head back to the lilypad and make your way around to the treasure. Open it to get the small key. Getb ack on the lilypad and backtrack all the way to where the water had split. This time head up and left. Get onto to the land here and head through the locked door.
Use the mushroom to get to the north ledge. Use the gust jar to pull the mushroom towards you and it will fling you over to the next platform. Do so again to get to the top-right, and once again to get to the treasure chest. Open it up to get the Big Key. Step on switch at the bottom-right and a red portal will appear, head through it.
Now go through the blue portal right next to it to take you to the heart container we saw earliar. Grab it and you should now have a four heart containers which will give you a new Heart. Head back through the blue portal. Back here once again, clear the webs that cover the two sets of the stairs on both sides of the room. Head down the one on the left first.
Move the block here and open the chest to get 20rupees. Head back up the stairs and now head down the other set of stairs.
Use the gust jar on the mushroom to get to the left side of the room. Now head to the bottom and use the gust jar again and it will take you to the top of the room. Use the big key on the door here to get to the Boss Room. A small cutscene will take place and a Big Green Chuchu will jump into the dungeon. Though these guys were relatively easy when Link was big, they are a threat now that Link is small, but this shouldn't be much of a problem.
What you need to do to kill this baby is fairly easy. Use your gust jar to suck away at the bottom of his body and he will fall over. This will allow you to strike him in the head. After doing this a couple times he will be terminated. If you need to some hearts, lift the barrels around the room to get some.
After he has been defeated Link will get the Earth Element.
A heart container will then appear, grab it to briung your total of hearts up to five. Now head through the portal to be warped to just outside the dungeon. Ezlo will tell you you should go talk to the Elder again. Congradulations on beating the first dungeon!
