Classic Zelda move here. Swing your sword and hold down the button. Once it is fully charged up release and Link will do a Spin Attack.

Grimblade - Located in the south-east corner of the Hyrule Castle Garden. Slash your way through the bushes in the far corner to reveal a ladder. Climb down and head up to meet Grimblade. You must use your Lantern to light up the torches so you can train.

Another Zelda classic here. Fill up Link's hearts and swing away to create a beam attack.

3) Dash Attack
Required Items: Pegasus Boots

When I first got the Pegasus Boots, I assumed this came with it, but in the Minish Cap you must learn this skill. Once learned, just dash with the Pegasus Boots and Link will dash while sticking his sword out.

Waveblade - Located in Lake Hylia. On the land mass that is south of the Temple of Droplets and west of the Mayor's Cabin. Once you get on the land there is a tree in the center that you can enter. Do so and you will meet Waveblade.

4) Peril Beam
Required Items: None

Basically the opposite of the Sword Beam. When Link has one full heart or less, swing your sword and it will shoot out a beam in what seems like a desperation shot. A unique attack to say the least, but very useful towards the end of the game.

Just as the name says, rock breaker. Swing your sword at rocks and pots throughout Hyrule and they will break on contact.

Greyblade - On Mt. Crenel. Once you have the grip ring, climb up four sets of wall on the far right of the mountain to get to a lone cave here. Split into two links to press the switches within the cave. Head up to get to Grey Blade.

6) Roll Attack
Required Items: None

While recovering from your roll, swing your sword and Link will quickly dhas forward with a sword attack. This technique is not very useful in my opinion as I rarely use it.

7) Down Thrust
Required Items: Roc's Cape

Another classic Zelda technique. Equip your sword as well as Roc's Cape. Use Roc's Cape to jump up and while you are in the early stages of your jump press your sword's button to strike downward.

Swiftblade the First - In the far western portion of Castor Wilds. Push the tomb up and head into it to find Swiftblade the First.

8) Great Spin Attack

Spin Attack (Upgrade) - Scarblade will upgrade your spin attack speed. The time it takes for Links spin attack to be ready will be much quicker.
Greatblade - Fuse kinstones with Waveblade in Lake Hylia and a passage will open in a waterfall in North Hyrule Field.

Great Sping Attack (Upgrade) - Greatblade will upgrade your Great Spin Attack. Once you do the Great Spin Attack keep pressing the sword button and it will now last longer.
