Ball and Chain Trooper- There are a few ways to defeat the Ball and Chain Trooper. The method that I have found is the easiest, and safest, is to use the jars that are in the room. Just pick one up and throw it at him. You can also use your boomerang to stun him and then use your sword to strike him. After you defeat him you will get the big key which leads to Zelda and a treasure chest. Difficulty: 1/10
Armos Knights- There are six knights to start with. Use your arrows and shoot each of the first five three time with the arrows. It doesn't matter the order. Once the five are gone the sixth knight will turn red and start jumping around. You can use your arrows against him but you can also use your sword. Difficulty: 1/10

Lanmolas- There are three of these babies. Once again there are stages. At the begining each of them will jump in and out of the ground shooting out four rocks each time. There are many methods, using bombs, arrows, or your sword. I find it easiest, and riskiest to use your sword but it is the best method, because it is hard to time the bombs, and aim with the arrows. You will see the ground shaking a bit where they will come up. Get ready and strike him when he comes out. When you the kill the first two, the third will shoot out eight rocks. Just use the same method here. If your a bit stuck, bring a bottle of potion or with a fairy. Difficulty: 3/10

Moldorm- This boss can be very frustrating at times. The only part of his body that is vulnerable is his tail. Another key factor is you fight him on a ledge where you can fall off, and if you fall off, he gains back all his power. My strategy for this one is to keep your distance from him. Stay on the right side of the small gap. Go after him when he is going in the direction away from you. Go in and hit and run. He will get faster as the fight goes on which makes it more difficult, but it should be easy as you gain experience throughout the game. Difficulty: 4/10

Agahnim- To defeat Agahnim, you must use his own magic against him. He will go around the room shooting different things out at you. He shoots three things. One, if he shoots a blue circle that looks like a necklace at you, just dodge it. When he is at the top-center of the screen go to either the left or the right side of the screen. If he faces you then be ready to deflect. If he is facing straight down he will shoot lightening. Just stay out of the way. The third thing he will shoot is a small glowing ball at you. Use the master sword to deflect it back at him. After a couple hits, he will be history. You can also use the bug-catching net against him to deflect his magic, but the master sword is easier. Difficulty: 3/10

Helmasaur- There are two stages to this first boss in the dark world. Once you start the battle, he has a strong mask on. Use either three bombs, or the hammer. I find the hammer a bit easier. Once you break off his mask it will reveal his weak point, which is a glowing green circle that was covered earlier. Use eithier your sword to slice at it, or use your arrows. There shouldn't be any problems defeating this boss. Watch out for its tail, because it is its main attack. Difficulty: 3/10

Arrghus- One of the most fun bosses in the game. There are two parts to this boss. At the beginning he will be surrounded by a bunch of Arrgi. Use your hookshot to pull one off and kill it. You have to defeat all of the Arrgi one by one. You should try to stay as far away as possible. Once they are all gone, he will try and jump and land on top of you. Just simply move to the side and hit him with your sword when he lands. The hammer works more affectively but it is harder to execute. Difficulty: 5/10

Mothula- The best weapon against this boss is the fire rod. Keep your distance from Mothula and shoot at it with the fire rod. If you do run out of magic, you can use your sword, but it is much harder. It will shoot some sort of ray out at you, just try to dodge it. There will also be spikes moving across the floor. Try to dodge them as well. I suggest bringing in some red and green potion just in case. Difficulty: 6/10

Blind- Blind will move around the one side of the room. The only vulnerable spot on him is his head. It is easiest to hit his head when he is on the bottom. Just strike it with your sword three times. Once you hit it three times, the head will start flying around the room and a new head will grow on him. The other head will start shooting at you as well. Use the same method to kill the second on him, while trying to avoid the flying head and his lazers. Eliminate the second head and a third will grow, while the second starts flying around the room as well. After you eliminate the third head, you've defeated the boss. Bring some red potion or a fairy to this battle to make it a bit easier. Difficulty: 5/10

Kholdstare- Two steps to this boss. The first stage is where Kholdstare is in an ice block and ice will be falling from the ceiling. Just use your fire rod eight times until the ice cracks and Kholdstare splits into three. Now you can either use your sword which is easier to hit with, or your fire rod which is more affective. Hit each eye six times until all three of them are gone. As long as you have a full magic meter when entering this boss, and don't miss with the fire rod at the begining, magic won't be a problem, but bringing green potion in case isn't a bad idea. Bring some red potion or a fairy as well. Difficulty: 6/10

Vitreous- Another two step boss. Vitreous will be at the top of the screen with small eye balls surrounding him. The eyes will come out about four at a time and try to attack you, while once in awhile Vitreous will shoot lightening out at you. Vitreous's eye turns bright when he about to shoot lightening. Move from bottom-left to bottom-right, while hitting the small eyes with your sword. Once all the eyes are gone, Vitreous will come out and start moving around. Just use your sword against him. Difficulty: 7/10

Trinexx- Trinexx gets its name because it has three heads. You start off by fighting the two heads. The red head is for fire, and the blue head is for ice. So you beat fire with ice, and ice with fire. Oh, and you have an ice and fire rod. Use your fire rod on the ice head first, because the ice head uses ice that goes on the floor and makes it slippery, so get rid of him first by using the fire rod. Once the ice head is gone, use your ice rod on the fire head. I suggest bringing one or maybe two bottles of green potion in case. Once the two heads are done with, the rock will break and the third head will come alive. It will get up and start flying around the room. One of the boulders on its body will glow. Strike it with your sword, while trying to dodge its attacks. Hit it three times with your sword and you'll beat the boss. Difficulty: 9/10

Agahnim- The second fight against Agahnim is very similer to the first one, but now there are three Agahnims, but you can easily tell which one is the real one, because the other two are much lighter. The method to killing Agahnim is the same as before. The other two Agahnims cannot be hurt. Just simply use your sword to reflect the small, circle, glowing ball back at him. You can use the other two Agahnims magic against the real Agahnim as well. This battle is a lot harder then the first one because the other Agahnims can hurt you as well. He will transform into a bat after the battle and fly to the Pyramid located at the center of the Dark World. Difficulty: 6/10

Ganon- One thing true about A Link to the Past that is different to every other Zelda game, is that the hardest boss is the final boss in this one. There are a few stages to Ganon. The first few occur when the lights are still on. Ganon will wave his pitchfork and firebats will form and chase after you. Just try dodging them and striking Ganon with your sword. I request you have the Golden Sword with you, as it will make this battle a lot easier. Keep striking him. He will try throwing his pitch fork at you and then transporting to thew other side to catch it. Just keep going at him with your sword. Eventually he will start to jump and pound the ground. The top row of tile will fall. He'll jump again and the right row of tile will fall, followed by the bottom and then left row of tile, until you are standing on a island of tiles. He will put the torches out so it will be dark and he will be invisible. Take out your fire rod and light the torches, and then quickly hit Ganon with your sword. He will turn blue, so pull out your silver arrows and hit him with it. The torches will go out after a certain time. Relight them and hit him with the sword and then silver arrow. You will need to hit him with a total of three silver arrows to beat him. A Platform will appear at the top of the screen. So go in there and claim the triforce. Difficulty: 10/10
