~ Old Man Quotes ~

Meaning:
  - The Old Man is worried for our safety and offers us his Wooden Sword. The sword isn't very strong, but will work for now.

Meaning:
  - Once we've mastered using our previous sword, (Beaten two dungeons, or gathered two Heart Containers) the Old Man offers us an upgrade from our Previous Sword.

  - The Old Man will say this when getting both the White and Magical Swords.

Meaning:
  - The Old Man will offer you either the Red Medicine or a Heart Container to help you on your quest, as long as you find him, there are five Heart Containers in all.


Meaning:
  - The Old Man offers us this letter for the Old Woman to deliver, I don't know what it reads, but showing it to the Old Woman in certain places will make her sell us Potions for a price.


Meaning:
  - This Old Man runs a Gambling Game that we can play. Only one of these games are revealed from the beginning, however, but it's pretty easy to find.


Meaning:
  - This Old Man, living peacefully in his home, just had his door blasted open by you, and isn't very happy about it, and as a result, charges us to repair his door. The fine is 20 Rupees.


Meaning:
  - I don't know why we need an Old Man here, but he's our guide through the tunnels under Hyrule. You may take three routes to warp to any of four warps points.


Meaning:
  - This Old Man shares secrets that seem to have one meaning, referring to the Money Making Game in Northern Hyrule, but he's actually referring to a secret entrance to the screen above it, where a Secret Rupee lies.


~ Dungeon Quotes ~

Meaning:
  - First thing's first, why would and Old Man live in a dungeon infested with enemies? Well, he's sharing his secrets with us, but I don't know anyone, but Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto. There could be many things he could be referring to, the Money Making Game, the Secret Rupee above it, or a hidden Heart Container, but no one knows for sure which one.


Meaning:
  - Probably the most commonly used of the Old Men quotes, the infamous "Dodongo Dislikes Smokes" is made fun of constantly, for an unknown reason, but the meaning is referring to Dodongo's weakness to Bombs.


Meaning:
  - The Old Man is trying to refer us to a Sword Upgrade you can get if you're playing the dungeons in order. The Old Man in northern Hyrule will give you a Sword Upgrade, and that is what this Old Man is referring to.


Meaning:
  - This one could have you looking all over Hyrule for what this means, but the Waterfall in Northern Hyrule is the answer. Inside the waterfall is a cave where a greedy Old Woman will sell us information.


Meaning:
  - This one is referring to Digdogger's weakness to the Whistle, pretty simple, and unless you don't have the Whistle, you should be able to get it immediately.


Meaning:
  - Within the same dungeon as the previous, this Old Man will sell you an upgrade to your Bomb Carrying Capacity. There's two in the game, to make the total Bombs we can carry 16.


Meaning:
  - This won't mean anything to you for awhile, but within the final dungeon is an upgrade to our Arrows, these arrows are the only thing that can kill Ganon.


Meaning:
  - This is referring to Gohma, this dungeon's boss' weakness to the Arrows.
