• Zelda Dimension : Zelda Dimension has been around for quite some time. Although the current website that is online today is quite different than the early versions of the site. Zelda: The Oracle Dimension, was the orginal name for the site and as you can guess it was based on the Oracle of Ages and the Oracle of Seasons. The site had later changed its name to Zelda Dimension after it began to cover the complete Zelda series. Host issues and a terrible accident that had occured with the webmaster led the site to coming offline.
The site has recently re-emerged just four monthes ago with a fresh new start. They have released three layouts since their return, all keeping the same classic blue feel that was a trademark of previous Zelda Dimension layouts. The current layout is their best work yet. The theme can be seen within the banner which blends several Twilight Princess pieces togethor in one image. Another standout is the game menu which includes a boss image on each of the game specefic buttons. The game menu and basic navigation listings on the left and right side of the layout give way to a large body area where news and content can be seen.
After the host issues and the accident that occured with the old Zelda Dimension, all the content that the site had was wiped out. This meant everything needed to be re-written from the start. While this is quite a task, Zelda Dimension has gotten off to a great start thus far. There isn't much game content for each game but for what there is available, it is very well written. Each piece of content has a few images to give it some life as well. The stand out piece of content that Zelda Dimension has is the interactive Great Sea Map for the Wind Waker. It gives a map of the Wind Waker with a 7x7 grid, as seen in the game. You can select different items such as Heart Pieces, Big Octoroks, Triforce Charts and more, and the map will show the locations of all of them. This is definately one of the most creative game content features that I have seen from a Zelda site in quite some time.
Zelda Dimension has only been back for about four monthes, but they have come a long way already. With two great webmasters running the show and constant updates nearly everyday, Zelda Dimension has a bright future ahead.
