: Fierce Deity Link Theory :

I think that Fierce Deity is its own being and it is Link's father. He is tied with the royal family because his mother was a maid for the king. But Fierce Deity is also the god of life and death which ties to the twin triforce theory. And how is this tied to Majora's Mask you ask? Majora is a different being as from the mask. Majora and Fierce Deity are brothers and Majora is the god of the weather which relates with the moon (for the moon controls the tides) and there is a third brother which I think is Odolwa the jungle warrior fused with his mask (which I will talk about soon) cause he could not live without his powers. All three of them made masks to hold their powers.
I think the kids in the moon (which I do not think is the moon I think it is a fragment in time and of the mind of Majora and is a link from one realm to the other just like the realm of the sages) are Link's brothers and cousins. And the kid at the tree (I think is majoras son) gives you the Fierce Deity mask cause the battle is brother vs. brother (not realy until 2 carnation) but I say that Majora and his mask fused because he couldn't go without his powers. The mask man is a divine being and is the one that collected and convinced the brothers to make masks (which is a good thing).
